2013 Golden Globes - Maroon

Deep red was a constant on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.  Whether it was on a dress or on lips, this colour was seemingly everywhere.

Miranda Kerr attended the Globes with her handsome husband Orlando Bloom.  While the two didn't pose on the red carpet, they did attend the ceremony and later posed at the InStyle post Golden Globes party.

Miranda was a siren in a plunging Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress with a gathering of fabric near the hip and a leg split.  The rich, wine colour was divine as was her hair and dark make-up.  She wore statement earrings by H. Stern and carried a clutch and wore shoes, all by Ferragamo.

Another Aussie ruled the red carpet in a dark blood red colour: Naomi Watts.

'The Impossible' actress covered up on the red carpet in a Zac Posen dress with full sleeves, a sliver of cut out detail at the neckline and a dramatic train.

The colour was lovely on Naomi, whom we are used to seeing in pale shades.

Jennifer Garner supported husband Ben Affleck (who won two awards for 'Argo') in a Vivienne Westwood gown.

The colour looked gorgeous on Jennifer who wore it with a soft bun and gold earrings by David Webb.

Taylor Swift looked elegant and grown up at the Golden Globes in a deep plum hued Donna Karan Atelier gown which featured an open back and a train.

Lena Dunham, who won for 'Girls', scrubbed up in a chocolate Zac Posen gown with off-shoulder sleeves.
