Freida Pinto in Missoni - W Magazine and Dom Perignon’s 2013 Pre-Golden Globes Party

Freida Pinto was in attendance at the W Magazine pre-Golden Globes party.

She attended the party in a fresh blue, sleeveless Missoni dress with a turquoise motif.

The fit was good on her and she looked adorable with that hairstyle and Roger Vivier heels.

Freida Pinto in Tory Burch, Rachel Roy & Missoni - 'Trishna' Promotions

Freida Pinto is a busy lady.  The 'Trishna' actress has been promoting her new movie quite aggressively for the past few days in an array of colourful ensembles.

Freida appeared on 'Access Hollywood' in a printed purple sundress by Tory Burch and paired it with matching flats.

Then she hopped over to film 'Today', wearing a sunny yellow Rachel Roy dress with a dark blazer and the same fuschia flats.  I love her the addition of the colourful purse.

Finally, Freida attended a special screening of her movie in the city in a signature Missoni print dress.  It was worn with a messy side braid and black flats.

I have to say, normally I would be against such laid-back promotional style but it works for Freida!

Fashion Roundup

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Women in Film Pre-Oscars event in a jumpsuit by Band of Outsiders that had tuxedo-like lapels and a plunging neckline.  Her favourite Loree Rodkin necklace, and Jimmy Choo peep-toes completed the look.

Selena Gomez also attended the event in a dress by Ani Lee that had a bustier top and a skirt.  There's just something costume-y about this dress no? She looks like she's just jumped off the set of some Disney fairy movie.

Katy Perry is currently in the City of Lights as she attends shows during Paris Fashion Week.

For a lunch, Katy wore a Vera Wang Spring 2012 dress in a pale blue and paired it with a pink bag and nude sandals - it feels like a mismatch of things but at least the colours are pretty.

Then in the evening, she wore a Balmain mini dress with the signature markings of the label's dresses.  

By now you must know how much I detest her blue hair.

Kate Middleton did a charity event in a bright Missoni coat, which she wore with suede Rupert Sanderson pumps.  I love the addition of the bright daffodils.

Carrie Underwood wore an iridescent Oscar de la Renta Spring 2012 gown to an event.  Love this dress on her, but the hair-do feels too pageant-y.

Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style Awards

Lots of celebs in Hollywood came out wearing Missoni (since the Italian label was an honoree), at the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards.

- Alexis Bledel wore a multi-colour, pastel print maxi.  Alexis always looks lovely and this appearance is no exception.

- Alessandra Ambrosio was there too, wearing a turtle-neck, sleeveless, cherry-red top, pairing it with a pink & red maxi skirt. I wish she'd skipped on that turtle-neck and I also wish that the skirt was a gown.

- Sophia Vegara (of 'Modern Family') looked summer-ready in a gorgeous azure shaded, strapless Missoni gown which skimmed her curves perfectly.  She added some gorgeous earrings & a bracelet to finish off the look.

- Iman, who was also an honoree, wore a Rachel Zoe Spring 2012 dress at the event.  Love the blush coloured, high-neck dress which she topped with a snazzy Rachel Zoe jacket. 

- Rachel Zoe herself, too wore a Spring 2012 ensemble from her label.  She wore two separates - a white, frilly-sleeved blouse tucked into a pleated white maxi skirt.  

Accessories included gold cocktail rings, dangly earrings & a black clutch.

Spotted: Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester, wearing a cute Missoni dress, topped with a matching long cardigan was spotted in California, at an ice skating event for Herbal Essences, for which she's an ambassador. She paired the dress with black tights and added a touch of that trademark Meester fierceness - in the form of her shoes (they're Alaïa boots). She's also sporting a Proenza Schouler handbag.

*Update - Her shoes are Louboutins, not Alaïa.
