Kristen Bell in Pamella Roland - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Kristen Bell bought a dash of drama to the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

In a sea of minimalist dresses, lots of cheery colours and natural make-up, Kristen stood out in her black Pamella Roland dress with a half sequined panel, halter neck, and keyhole. And not to mention, that long train trailing behind her.

Normally I would be in two minds about these many details, but Kristen just carried herself so effortlessly.  A strong updo, bold eyes and an Edie Parker clutch finished her look.

Vanessa Hudgens In Pamela Rolland - 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' Appearance

After travelling through Australia (and making questionable sartorial choices - click here), and Mexico, Vanessa Hudgens was back in LA for promotions for her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.

Vanessa wore a white Pamela Rolland Spring 2012 dress.  The strapless dress has an iridescent bodice and a draped tulip skirt.

 This is a major improvement from her previous premiere outfit. See what a difference the right dress, a fresh colour, (relatively) clean make-up  and brushed hair can make?

Covergirls

Covergirls Drew Barrymore & Taylor Swift attended an event for the brand. I loved the citrus hue of Drew's Jil Sander gown but the ruching at the bottom looked a little strange. Nevertheless, she totally worked it. Taylor went from the People's Choice Awards to this event so had the same hairstyle. She wore a strapless LBD which I'm pretty sure is a Jenny Packham design. *Update - Taylor's dress is a Badgley Mischka



Sophia Bush was also in attendance, in a body-hugging, plunge neck white dress - not a fan of this, it was not subtle at all and screamed for attention. Whitney Port looked all serene in a floaty mint coloured creation. And Brittany Snow looked lovely in a very Prada like number but couldn't help but notice how bad her hair colour looks.
