The opening ceremony of the 66th Cannes Film Festival took place last night in Cannes, France. The festival opened with the premiere of the opulent 'The Great Gatsby'.
In addition to familiar Cannes faces like Sonam Kapoor and Freida Pinto, there were also the likes Carey Mulligan and Nicole Kidman. Here are a few more looks from the night:
Naomie Harris from 'Skyfall' shimmered in a silver Calvin Klein, strapless gown with a rounded bodice. If it looks familiar, it's because it is rather similar to Jennifer Lawrence's post-Oscars party gown.
Lana Del Ray, who has sung for 'The Great Gatsby' wore a black and white lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and train; she looked pretty.
Fan Bingbing, the Chinese actress and a Cannes regular, chose a powder pink Louis Vuitton gown.
The legendary Cindy Crawford showed off her once-a-supermodel-always-a-supermodel figure in a figure hugging white Roberto Cavalli dress with an embellished gold neckline.
Cara Delevingne attended in a lace sleeved Burberry gown and wore bold make-up.
Georgia May Jagger, the model, also wore Cavalli.
