Debra Messing in Matthew Christian - 2013 Tony Awards

Debra Messing hit up last night's Tony Awards with her boyfriend, Will Chase.

She wore a classic prom-style LBD by designer Matthew Christian, with an off shoulder neckline and a dragonfly brooch adorned belt and a flared skirt.

While it was elegance at its best, surely something colourful wouldn't have hurt?

Debra Messing in KaufmanFranco - 2012 Met Ball

Debra Messing was simple but elegant in a KaufmanFranco gown at the Met Ball.

This sleek look was very different from her look at the Golden Globes (click here).  I am always partial to a simple, column gown so this look was a winner in my eyes.

Voluminous locks added contrast to her look which she completed with Fred Leighton jewels.
