Anna Wintour in Chanel & Bee Shaffer in Christian Dior - 2013 Met Ball

Anna Wintour led the pack as always, accompanied by her daughter Bee Shaffer, at the 2013 Met Ball.

The legendary Vogue editor picked Chanel, wearing a colourful column dress from the Spring 2013 Couture collection.  Her look was completed with a bob and statement necklace.

Bee wore a beautiful, dreamy gown from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection.  The gown is just stunning, so Bee didn't overload with harsh make-up or attention-grabbing accessories.

While both looked great, the punk element was completely missing from their looks, which is sort of surprising.

Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham - 2012 Vogue Fashion's Night Out in NYC

Victoria Beckham stood by the side of Anna Wintour as she attended VFNO at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City on Thursday.

The designer looked incredible in a very fitted, bright orange sheath from her namesake line.  I absolutely adore this dress as the colour is gorgeous and it creates curves!

Victoria wore it with a messy side braid and Proenza Schouler pumps.

Anna Wintour in Prada & Bee Shaffer in Erdem - 2012 Met Ball

Anna Wintour, who serves as a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and who organises the Costume Institute's annual gala wore a Prada dress.  This wasn't surprising seeing as this year's event was dedicated to Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.

She wore the white column gown with a fur bolero.

Her daughter, Bee Shaffer wore a dress by British designer Erdem Moralioglu.  I love the colour and the signature florals.
