Hailee Steinfeld wore Sandro to the 2013 CFDA Awards.

The young actress, who more often than not ages appropriately for her age did so once more, in a custom-made crop top and long, full skirt with a sweet print.

Straight hair, left unstyled, a bright lip colour and gold Jimmy Choo platform heels finished off the 'Romeo and Juliet' actress' look.

Hailee Steinfeld in Donna Karan - 2013 Met Ball

Young actress Hailee Steinfeld was completely event and age appropriate at the 2013 Met Ball.

She wore an ivory Donna Karan Atelier frock that featured a leather corset, studded with oxidised antique gold safety pins and a similar skirt.

Her hair was kept messy and she finished off the look with custom Eddie Borgo jewels, and Jimmy Choo clutch and heels.

Hailee Steinfeld in Valentino - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Young actress, Hailee Steinfeld showed up at the annual Vanity Fair post-Oscars party in Valentino.

I guess in theory her dress worked however, I am not be a fan of full length leather/PVC dresses so this has an immediate thumbs down from my side.  The bib like bodice felt strange too.

Instead, she should have chosen a shorter cocktail dress in a brighter shade.

Shops at Target Fall Installment Celebration

Brooklyn Decker, Hailee Steinfeld and Jessica Chastain were spotted at the celebration of the fall installment of Shops at Target in New York City on Wednesday.

Brooklyn was my best dressed at this event - the colour combination of blue, turquoise and that flared leather skirt worked rather well.  She wore it with wavy hair and neutral Givenchy sandals.

Hailee came second in her printed top and textured skirt.  The hair, print, colours and chunky sandals were all a bit too much.

Jessica Chastain looked out of place, to be honest.  That black and white top just didn't go with her bright skirt.  She should have worn sleek pants instead.

Hailee Steinfeld in Marc Jacobs - 'The Dark Knight Rises' NYC Premiere

Hailee Steinfeld brightened up the black carpet at the premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises', held in New York City last night.

Hailee chose a long dress from the colourful Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 collection with a vivid blue and purple floral print, sequins and a three dimensional bow at the neck.

She wore it with an updo, black clutch and two-tone summer wedge heels, also by Marc Jacobs.

Hailee Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung - 2012 Young Hollywood Awards

Hailee Steinfeld was my best dressed at the 2012 Young Hollywood Awards.

The young actress wore a sleeveless top with floral embellishments and flared pants from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 collection.  

It was perfectly youthful but formal enough for the event, and despite being from a fall/winter collection, did not feel inappropriate.  She wore it with wavy hair, an Edie Parker clutch and Brian Atwood shoes.

Hailee Steinfeld was in Miu Miu at the 2012 Met Gala.

This was hardly a surprise seeing as Miu Miu and Hailee share a strong relationship.

She looked adorable in the blush silk gown with colourful embroidery and applique.

Chanel Intimate Dinner

Christina Hendricks, Kate Bosworth, Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld were all seen at a Chanel dinner, held in LA last night.

Kate Bosworth - Lovin' the all-black look on her, consisting of a button-up blouse, a tweed mini skirt and fierce black booties.

Christina Hendricks -  I love the wine coloured dress and the black cape, but my problem is with the shoes!  Not pretty.

Elle Fanning wore a black & white ensemble; I like the white shorts but those black pumps are unnecessary and feel inappropriate for the teenager.

Hailee Steinfeld wore a high-neck, grey coloured mini with tough-looking booties - again a case of inappropriate - too much make up.
