Renee Zellweger in Prada - 2013 Met Ball

Renee Zellweger stunned me at the 2013 Met Ball.

Not only did she wear the most boring, dull colour imaginable, she wore it in the form of a simple sheath dress (it's Prada).  Just, awful.

Renee Zellweger in Carolina Herrera - 2013 Oscars

Renee Zellweger attended the Oscars on Sunday, and in doing so, made her first formal appearance in a long, long time.

She wore her red carpet go-to, Carolina Herrera to the event.  I loved the liquid, light gold gown that fit her very well, and included an interesting back featuring red bows. 

But her look was brought down several notches because of the almost non-existing hairstyle and make-up, some effort into them would have made this look a complete winner.

Renee Zellweger in Emilio Pucci - 2012 Met Ball

Renee Zellweger was a surprise at this year's Met Ball.

The actress, who has been a Carolina Herrera loyalist for many years wore a dress from the Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 collection.

It was certainly a different look from her, and she carried the backless gown with sheer cutouts rather well.  An updo and diamond sparklers were all she needed.
