Indian cinema's high-fashion queen, Sonam Kapoor attended the screening of her new movie 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' in style in London.

She wore a colour block dress from the Fall 2013 collection of the label, Barbara Casasola.  I love the restrained, ladylike glamour this full sleeved gown oozes.

A sleek, straight hairstyle, gold spike earrings and seriously smoky eyes finished off her perfect look.

Sonam Kapoor in Shehla Khan - Trophee Chopard Cannes Party

With so many different parties taking place during Cannes, it's hard to keep tab on all the fashion.

Sonam Kapoor attended a Chopard party after the 'Jeune et Jolie' red carpet and screening last night, in another one of her favourite Indian designers, Shehla Khan.

She wore this exquisite black lace creation which consisted of an off-shoulder top and a dove grey skirt, including the beautiful lace choli.  An updo, glamorous make-up and a crazy diamond necklace finished her look; the only strange accessory was that clutch which should have been left in the hotel room.

Sonam Kapoor in Dolce & Gabbana - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 2 & 'Jeune et Jolie' Premiere

Sonam Kapoor was gorgeous tonight on the red carpet for the second night of the Cannes film festival.

She attended the premiere of the movie 'Jeune et Jolie' in a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana dress.  The dress boasted a strapless, fitted bodice and a voluminous yet structured skirt, all with the label's signature floral stamp.

A side-swept, glossy hairstyle and Sunita K jewelery finished off her look.  Sonam also wore floral heels (a new trend?).

Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony & 'The Great Gatsby' Premiere

Attending her third year at the Cannes film festival, Sonam Kapoor mixed it up once more.

She shunned a gown for a white lace saree, worn with a long embroidered jacket, all from one of her favourite Indian designers, Anamika Khanna.  The couture pieces worked perfectly for the opening ceremony but what captured everyone's interest was the pearl nose ring (by Sunita Kapoor - Sonam's mother).

A regal, old-school hairstyle, the nose ring and a rich, dark lip colour completed her look.

Sonam Kapoor in Manish Arora - Electrolux Promotions

Sonam Kapoor promoted a technological brand in Mumbai this week looking lovely.

She wore a pastel hued, printed Manish Arora dress for the event which was perfect for the day.  The hemline was also long, which made her look very lady-like.  

A side ponytail (which I loved), black earrings, a shoulder bag and pumps completed her look.

Sonam Kapoor attended the launch of a club in Mumbai looking lovely.

She wore a soft champagne coloured Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2012 dress that had applique on the bodice and three-quarter sleeves.

This look is just classic Sonam - ladylike and elegant but not sure it suited the opening of a club.  She completed the look with a gorgeous hairstyle, dainty cat eye make-up, a Dolce & Gabbana bag and black peep-toes.

Sonam Kapoor in Alexander McQueen - Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Sonam Kapoor made her highly anticipated red carpet appearance on the last night of the Cannes Film Festival, it was also the night of the premiere of 'Therese Desqueyroux', starring Audrey Tatou.

After last year's look, I have to say, I was a little underwhelmed by this appearance.  However, after my initial reaction subsided, I was able to see the beauty of this Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

The high neck dress had sheer sleeves with ruffles and an embroidered bodice and skirt.  There was beauty, drama and mystique to this look and Sonam played up the dark romance with her hair and red lips.

Sonam Kapoor in Marni - L'Oreal Interview at Cannes

Sonam Kapoor posed for the photographers during the L'Oreal interview at Cannes.

She looked cool and collected in a Marni Spring 2012 ensemble which consisted of a mix of two eclectic prints.  

As usual, Sonam looked wonderful, and styled the look simply with straight, centre parted hair, hoop earrings and Roger Vivier pumps.

Sonam Kapoor in Naeem Khan - L'Oreal and Chopard Cannes Party

Sonam Kapoor made her first official Cannes appearance on Thursday at the L'Oreal and Chopard party.

She wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2012 ballgown.  The black, one-shoulder dress with dots was certainly charming on her.  She dressed it up with red accessories which included a Chopard ruby cocktail ring and a velvet clutch.

Sonam tends to experiment a lot with her looks but I love it when she's in her 'girly' element as it comes naturally to her.

Sonam Kapoor in Naeem Khan - Femina Miss India 2012

Sonam Kapoor attended a beauty pageant in Mumbai last week in a Naeem Khan Spring 2012 gown.


I love the combination of the tasselled silver bodice and the voluminous, bright pink skirt and it's suitably dramatic for a pageant event.

Sonam kept things classy by putting her hair in a loose updo & wearing diamond earrings.

Sonam Kapoor in Prabal Gurung - Maxim Anniversary Party

Sonam Kapoor attended the Maxim anniversary party in Mumbai on Sunday night.

She chose a Prabal Gurung Spring 2011 dress that had a a fully embellished front panel running through its length, ending with feathers.  I love the way the sequined sleeves fall too.

Sonam completed the look with bouffant hair, a bright lip colour, a purple clutch and suede pumps which I'm not too crazy about.

I like the fact that despite it being a Maxim event, Sonam opted for such an elegant dress instead of a something like a skin-tight, sparkly mini.

Sonam Kapoor In Masaba Gupta - 'Wassup' Fest Launch

Sonam Kapoor wore a fresh off the runway Masaba Gupta saree (Summer/Resort 2012) to the launch of the Wassup Fest (an art & entertainment festival) in Mumbai.

The green saree which featured a a thick, embroidered velvet hem & a printed, flutter-sleeve blouse was beautiful as were her hairstyle & accessories.

As lovely as she looks, I'm not sure I'd wear a saree to an outdoors event like this - I would have rather seen her in a great day-dress; her look is more suited to an evening event.

Sonam Kapoor at Milan Fashion Week

Sonam Kapoor was a front row regular during Milan Fashion Week.

The fashionista stepped out in three very different looks through the week.

She sat front row at the Salvatore Ferregamo Fall 2012 show in a vintage look.  A pussy-bow blouse was paired with navy coloured cropped pants and a collar-less coat.  A curled hairstyle, red lips, a tan satchel and heels completed the look.

At the Dolce & Gabbana show, she wore a whimsical sunflower & onion print Spring 2012 dress.

A ponytail, gold earrings, red bag and nude peep-toes were the finishing touches.

It was a complete change for her at the Roberto Cavalli Fall showing.  

Sonam wore a a snakeskin print maxi dress topped with a leopard print fur collared jacket.  In a very signature Cavalli way, Sonam wore her hair poker straight with a centre parting and smokey eyes. A studded bag was the finishing touch.

Sonam Kapoor In Salvatore Ferregamo - Salvatore Ferregamo House Visit

Sonam Kapoor, who's currently in Florence, Italy (presumably to attend a few shows during Milan Fashion Week) visited the Ferregamo house, and got herself a custom made shoe.

For the event, Sonam wore a Salvatore Ferregamo Spring 2012 suit.  

Sonam does menswear-inspired clothing superbly, due to her overall confidence & height; this was just another example.  The rich purple, satin jacket and raspberry top look great on the Indian actress.

An elegant updo, a gold brooch and her custom Ferregamo sandals completed the look.

Celebs at Burberry Fall 2012 Show - London Fashion Week

Alexa Chung took in the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 show at LFW in a navy trench from the label that she paired with menswear-inspired separates; I like her side ponytail & fresh make-up.

Indian actress & fashionista Sonam Kapoor sat front row at the show.  She wore a dove grey, pleated dress, topping it with a Spring 2012 trench from the label.  Sonam completed the look with a neat hairstyle, large earrings and gorgeous heels. Loving her yellow nail colour!

Kate Bosworth left everyone behind in a Fall 2012 ensemble (the owl-print top & pencil skirt formed a major part of the collection). A  messy hairstyle, tan suede booties and a textured clutch completed her look.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley wore a light colour knit sweater top with maroon pants and donned a grey jacket to keep herself warm.  The brand's bag and heels were the finishing touches.

Sonam Kapoor wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown for the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Awards in Mumbai, where she won the award for the Best Dressed actress.

The strapless, berry coloured, silk-chiffon gown is adorned with multi-colour flowers which is pretty but makes her look front-heavy.

I like her styling though - glossy, curly locks,a hair-clip & red lips.

Sonam Kapoor wore a Halston maxi dress for a club opening in Mumbai last night.

Sonam loves Halston and she wears the pink, pleated, one-shoulder dress quite well;  the gold accessories also work. 

However, this is hardly what one would wear to a club opening.  It's a look that's better suited to a resort event or a summer party.

I would have loved to see her in this fab DKNY Resort 2012 dress.  It fits her style bill perfectly:  classy but fun and who can say no to sequins?

I absolutely adore this off-shoulder dress with tassel detail and a signature cone bust on Sonam and it fits her perfectly .

She went jewelery-less, just putting her hair up in a braided style & finished the look off with sultry make-up.

Sonam Kapoor In Paule Ka - 'Players' Press

Sonam Kapoor has taken affinity to designer, Paule Ka, for the promotional tour of her upcoming movie 'Players'.

The actress first wore a purple frock with a statement gold necklace, side parted hair & red lips.

Then yesterday, it was a plain black sheath, spruced up with a sharp ponytail & gold baubles.

The nude pumps go with both dresses but I hope Sonam gets out of this rut.
