Berenice Bejo won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress for her role in 'Le Passe' last night as the grand festival drew to a close.
She picked a rich, embroidered teal Elie Saab cocktail dress for the event - I adore the richness of this colour and how her brunette locks and deep lip colour complimented it.

Nicole Kidman attended the closing ceremony of the Cannes film festival today and the premiere of 'Zulu'.
The Australian actress has been amazingly consistent with her fashion endeavours during her time as jury member this year. For the closing ceremony, Nicole picked a relatively simple white, strapless gown by with an embellished bow design by Giorgio Armani.
It was classic, elegant and with her hair piled in a bun and red lips, this look just looks timeless - a great way to end the festival.

The incredibly beautiful Uma Thurman attended the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival tonight looking gorgeous.
She almost glided down the red carpet in her silver Atelier Versace gown with a sequined bodice and a flowing skirt with a train.
A sleek, side-parted hairstyle and diamond earrings added even more elegance. This is how Cannes should be done.

Ziyi Zhang ended her time at Cannes this year in a dress by Christian Dior (she also wore Dior at the opening ceremony).
After a series of pastel dresses appearing on the red carpet, it was high time someone brought a 'pop' and Ziyi did exactly that. She wore a black dress from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection (that has been very popular at Cannes this year), with neon yellow and pink floral applique.
Wavy locks and diamond earrings, along with black peep-toe heels finished out her look. Ziyi has been wonderful at Cannes this year, and this was a wonderful way to go out.

Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of 'La Venus a la Fourrure' (Venus in Fur) on the eleventh night of the 2013 Cannes film festival.
She wore a Chanel Resort 2014 dress for the event. She looked fabulous but doesn't the dress look like it belongs in the 90s?
A very interesting hairstyle consisting of swirled braided hair and red pumps completed her look.

Tilda Swinton graced the red carpet on Saturday night in a Haider Ackermann ensemble.
The actress with an eclectic sense of fashion wore gold separates from her favourite designer with aplomb, finishing off her look with bright red lips - something we rarely witness in her case.

Ziyi Zhang was a vision on the red carpet at the premiere of 'La Venus a la Fourrore' on the eleventh day of the Cannes film festival.
She wore a dreamy lilac Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown with three-quarter sleeves, beautiful crystal embellishments and a full skirt.
A low bun, Boucheron earrings and simple make-up finished her look.

Tilda Swinton brought her unique sense of style at the photocall of 'Only Lovers Left Alive'.
She wore a look from the Chanel Resort 2014 collection that consisted of a long, tailored navy jacket and wide legged white pants.

Olivia Palermo attended the screening of 'The Immigrant' in Cannes on Friday.
The fashionista wore another Roberto Cavalli dress. This time, she wore a sequined gold dress with a dramatic train.
In true OP fashion, she topped the dress with an interesting, embroidered Zara jacket and finished off the look with a feather clutch.

White seems to be an emerging red carpet trend this year at Cannes.
Marion Cotillard wore the colour on Friday evening for the premiere of her movie 'The Immigrant'; her lovely Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 dress featured a dramatic back drop and full sleeves.
A sleek, tucked behind the ears hairstyle and Chopard jewels, as well as metallic pumps completed her look.

Marion Cotillard was back in front of the cameras for another Cannes photocall last Friday.
She attended the photocall for 'The Immigrant' in a fresh white Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress. I love the texture the floral appliques bring to the shoulders and hemline.
Marion wore her hair up so the dress details could be visible and completed her look with sparkly heels.

The amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala took place in France, as part of the ongoing 2013 Cannes Film Festival last Thursday.
Joan Smalls was my favourite in a Givenchy Fall 2013 gown that featured a digital print top and a sheer, white tulle skirt with floral design. I loved these gowns which were featured towards the finale of the runway show.
Karlie Kloss wore a pant suit by Louis Vuitton. I get that she tries to be different at these events but would it kill her to wear a nice dress from time to time?
Karolina Kurkova wore a sleek Roberto Cavalli dress with cut outs at the waist that gave Karolina an hourglass figure; a slicked back bun and diamond earrings finished the look.

Rosie HW attended the amfAR cinema against Aids gala in Cannes last week.
It was a Christian Dior dress with a fresh white bodice and an asymmetrical skirt; the white stood out against her glowing tan and I loved the structure of the skirt.
Wavy locks, blue smoky eyes and white pumps finished off her look. Head to toe white is a big spring/summer trend and this is an ideal way of applying it to an evening look.

Aishwarya Rai also attended the amfAR cinema against Aids gala in Cannes last week.
Since the theme of the night was gold, Aishwarya wore a pale gold saree by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani.
I liked the dusty gold hue of the saree and the light embroidery, however, I didn't care much for the beauty pageant-esque hairstyle; a loose, wavy style would have suited her better.

It was a gorgeous red Saint Laurent dress for Jessica Chastain at the annual amfAR gala in Cannes.
We haven't seen this particular shade of red on Jessica before, but she looked amazing in the draped shoulder dress with cut-outs. Tousled hair, dewy make-up and a single Bulgari gold serpent cuff finished off her look.

Audrey Tatou hit up the amfAR gala looking pretty as ever.
The French actress wore a custom-made silver dress by Lanvin with a fitted bodice and a short, tiered skirt.
Audrey kept the look fuss-free as usual but I wish she'd worn something interesting in the footwear section - those nude Lanvin pumps just feel so dull.

Rosario Dawson attended the 2013 amfAR Gala in Cannes last week.
After her Marchesa appearance on the red carpet, I have to say, this Vionnet dress just seemed like a disappointment. The black dress, instead of being slimming, made her waist seem wider.
I wasn't too fond of those white heels with that dress either.

Olivia Palermo totally surprised me at the amfAR Cinema against Aids gala in Cannes.
The usually demure socialite sported a cut-out, animal-print Roberto Cavalli dress which carried a lot of the signature Cavalli sex appeal.
She wore the dress with a side ponytail, a glittering clutch and printed sandals.

Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of 'Nebraska' with Ang Lee.
She was magnificent in a Valentino Spring 2013 Couture dress, that was originally supposed to be worn by Anne Hathaway at the Oscars.
Anne didn't wear the dress but Nicole did full justice to this beautiful dress with a high neck and floral design. I loved the unique hairstyle and gold earrings.

Heidi Klum attended the premiere of 'Nebraska' on the ninth evening of the Cannes Film Festival last week.
She wore a white Versace dress with the usual makings of a Versace dress - structure, studs, sex-appeal.
While Heidi looked good, there was nothing new or fresh about her look. The hair, the jewelry, the heels - we've seen it all before.
