The actress with an eclectic sense of fashion wore gold separates from her favourite designer with aplomb, finishing off her look with bright red lips - something we rarely witness in her case.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Akermann - 'Moonrise Kingdom' Cannes Premiere

The names Tilda Swinton and Haider Akermann have become almost synonymous.

After attending the photocall of her movie on day one, Tilda attended the premiere in a rose gold Haider Akermann dress.  The custom-made dress featured a flared, pleated waist and as usual Tilda carried it off gracefully and I especially loved the pop of pink lipsticl,

We're not worthy.

The grandest summer event is here.  The 2012 Cannes Film Festival began with Tilda Swinton posing for photographers at the Palais des Festival; she was promoting her movie 'Moonrise Kingdom'.

Tilda wore a Haider Akermann ensemble which consisted of a deep, mauve chiffon blouse tucked into a lavender pencil skirt.  

We can really see why Mr. Akermann is fast becoming known as a master of colour.  Tilda finished her look with Nicholas Kirkwood nude pumps.

Vanessa Paradis and Tilda Swinton were among the important people who attended the Chanel Resort 2013 collection presentation at the Chateau de Versailles.

Vanessa wore a colourful dress from the Chanel Resort 2012 collection, with cap-toe heels and red lips.

Tilda maintained her androgynous style in a white shirt and high-waisted pants combination, topping them off with a off the runway Chanel Fall 2012 long tweed coat; loving her look.

Tilda Swinton attended the Time 100 Gala last night.

She stayed true to her androgynous style by donning a white jumpsuit by Celine.  I admire the clean lines of this jumpsuit but there's something strange about the way in which it's sitting on Tilda.

Jessica Alba & Tilda Swinton at the Lanvin Show - Paris Fashion Week

The gorgeous Jessica Alba attended the Lanvin Fall 2012 runway show in Paris, wearing a one-sleeve silk dress from the Spring 2012 collection.  The two-tone dress also features embellishments. 

Jess wore it with a simple bun and black pumps.

Tilda Swinton also graced the show.  The actress wore a two-tone burgundy dress that featured full sleeves, draping and a belt.  Matching sandals completed the look.

Tilda Swinton In Lanvin - 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Tilda Swinton took a break from wearing Haider Ackermann designs at the SAGs last night.  The British actress, who was nominated for the Best Actress award wore a custom gown by Lanvin.

The cream coloured gown with full sleeves, a plunging neck and pleats was simple and Tilda wore it with a dark red lip colour and a gold cuff.

2012 Golden Globes - Purple/Pink

Jessica Alba wore a dress by Gucci.  The mauve coloured, strapless dress has silver embellishments and a train;  Jessica wore it with a bun, Bulgari jewels and a Roger Vivier bag.  That colour is divine against her tan.

I wasn't surprised to see Tilda Swinton wear an androgynous outfit at the CCMAs.

The Yves Saint Laurent ensemble consisted of a black blouse, topped with a tuxedo jacket and wide-legged white pants.

Tilda wore it with her usual confidence and sense of minimalism.

Tilda Swinton attended Monday night's Independent Film Awards in NYC, wearing a look from the Haider Ackermann Spring 2012 collection.

The androgynous look works incredibly well on Tilda - I love the tapered pants and the checked, sequined blazer.

The bold coloured tailored separates looked absolutely fabulous on Tilda and I'm glad she skipped on the printed blouse, opting for a light brown one instead.

A simple hairstyle, red lips and two-tone pumps completed her look.
