Nicole Kidman in Altuzarra - 'The Railway Man' at 2013 TIFF

Nicole Kidman arrived at the 2013 Toronto film festival for the premiere of her new War time movie, called 'The Railway Man', in which she stars with Colin Firth.

The tall Aussie lady wore a slimming black suit with lace inserts from the Altuzarra Resort 2013 collection. I wish she had worn those those bootcut trousers from the collection, instead of the narrow legged ones she opted for but that's about it.

An updo, red lips and bow pumps by Louis Vuitton finished her polished look.

Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior - 2013 CMT Music Awards

Nicole Kidman supported husband Keith Urban as always, at a country music awards event.

For the CMT Music Awards held this past week, Nicole chose a simple Christian Dior LBD.  The only interesting part of her look were those Dior Fall 2013 white heels with a funky heel.

I definitely think that Nicole can do and does do better. However, I'm willing to give a pass considering she had such a good Cannes run this year and besides, she doesn't look bad at all.

Nicole Kidman in Giorgio Armani- 2013 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony & 'Zulu' Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the closing ceremony of the Cannes film festival today and the premiere of 'Zulu'.

The Australian actress has been amazingly consistent with her fashion endeavours during her time as jury member this year.  For the closing ceremony, Nicole picked a relatively simple white, strapless gown by with an embellished bow design by Giorgio Armani.

It was classic, elegant and with her hair piled in a bun and red lips, this look just looks timeless - a great way to end the festival.

Nicole Kidman in Chanel - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 11 & 'La Venus a la Fourrure' Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of  'La Venus a la Fourrure' (Venus in Fur) on the eleventh night of the 2013 Cannes film festival.

She wore a Chanel Resort 2014 dress for the event. She looked fabulous but doesn't the dress look like it belongs in the 90s?  

A very interesting hairstyle consisting of swirled braided hair and red pumps completed her look.

Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of 'Nebraska' with Ang Lee.

She was magnificent in a Valentino Spring 2013 Couture dress, that was originally supposed to be worn by Anne Hathaway at the Oscars.

Anne didn't wear the dress but Nicole did full justice to this beautiful dress with a high neck and floral design. I loved the unique hairstyle and gold earrings.

Nicole Kidman in L'Wren Scott - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 5 & 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of 'Inside Llewyn Davis' on the fifth night of the Cannes Film Festival.

The jury member wore a vivid blue, printed gown from her favourite L'Wren Scott.  The Fall 2013 dress featured an eclectic print that Nicole wore incredibly well; I also liked her unique, bouffant hairstyle (and she certainly charmed her husband, Keith Urban).

Calvin Klein 'Women in Film' Cannes Party

The annual Calvin Klein 'Women in Film' party took place last night in France; all the ladies wore Calvin Klein.  Click here to check out the fashion from 2012.

Carey Mulligan and Nicole Kidman both wore black. I liked Carey's simple look and appreciated Nicole's leather dress.

Rooney Mara was all about the bare minimum in her silk slip dress, slick bun and dewy make-up.

Naomie Harris cut a sharp figure in her dove grey cut-out dress, she was my favourite at this event.

Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony & 'The Great Gatsby' Premiere

Two days and three good looks already, Nicole Kidman is officially on a fashion roll.

For the premiere of 'Gatsby' and the opening night, Nicole wore a spring ready Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture frock with a pastel floral design; I especially love how she matched the neon orange of the hemline flowers to her Jimmy Choos.

Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Jury Members Photocall

Nicole Kidman attended the photocall for jury members in Cannes today.

The Aussie actress wore a beautiful LBD from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2013 collection that featured a sculpted portrait neckline and box pleated sleeves.  

The dress is amazing, but I don't understand the hair situation which featured a knotted side ponytail (which is fine) with a black hair ribbon (don't understand). The ribbon doesn't add anything to the look.

That aside, she looked great and finished out the look with two-tone Jimmy Choo pumps.

Nicole Kidman in Christian Dior - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Jury Dinner

Nicole Kidman, who will be part of the esteemed jury panel, attended the jury members dinner in Cannes yesterday.

She dazzled in sparkling sequined Christian Dior sheath; the dress fits her like a glove and I love the almost black, navy blue hue.  

Nicole isn't big on accessories and here too, she left the look alone, save for the matching satin Dior pumps.

Nicole Kidman in L'Wren Scott - 2013 Oscars

Nicole Kidman went back to one of her favourites, L'Wren Scott, for her Oscars dress.

Her black and gold dress featured a scoop neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette, and even if the design near the waist reminded me of Batman, it didn't take anything away from the dress.

An updo and Fred Leighton jewelry completed her look.  This is one of Nicole's best looks in recent years.

Nicole Kidman in Erdem - 2013 AACTA Awards

Nicole Kidman flew to her home country Australia two days ago to attend the 2013 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, held at The Star in Sydney.

She wore a summery dress from the Erdem Spring 2013 collection for the event.  The strapless, soft lemon yellow dress with pale blue embroidery was absolutely lovely on Nicole; it suited her alabaster skin and brought out her blue eyes.

A ponytail, heavily blushed cheeks, and stylish sandals completed her look.

Nicole Kidman stunned me at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

'The Paperboy' actress wore a sleeveless sequined, dark blue Vivienne Westwood Couture dress with floral applique.  I love how statuesque she looks without looking predictable.

Poker straight hair and kohl-rimmed eyes made her face appear younger and she finished off her look with Fred Leighton jewels and Manolo Blahnik heels.  This ranks as one of my favourite Nicole Kidman looks from the recent years.

Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts attended the 2013 PGAs.

The fellow Aussies wore black dresses for the evening, with Nicole opting for a black L'Wren Scott Resort 2013 column dress that had a lace neckline an sleeves.

Meanwhile, Naomi wore a cocktail dress from the Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 collection with Rupert Sanderson pumps.

2013 Golden Globes - Black (Part I)

Black reigned supreme on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

Kate Hudson was splendid in a black Alexander McQueen gown with full sleeves and a gaping keyhole neckline.  What really made the gown look spectacular was the starburst like gold embellishment around the neck and the detail at the waist.

And of course, the look was completed with her bright, cheery red carpet laugh.

Nicole Kidman attended the 2013 G’Day USA Black Tie Gala with her husband, Keith Urban.

The actress, who will next be seen in a Grace Kelly biopic, looked very regal in a peach Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.

I love Elie Saab and this dress is beautiful.  Nicole looked statuesque and elegant with her hair curled and pinned back, and nude Bottega Veneta heels.

Nicole Kidman suited up for the Gold Meets Golden Event in LA.  The event was an inauguration for Hollywood and the sports industry.

She wore a cream coloured Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 suit to the event, under which she wore a striped gold blouse.

This look was a complete surprise to me because she tends to stick to dresses and also a stick straight hairstyle.  Pink lips and matching white Nicholas Kirkwood sandals completed the look.

A sleek, straight hairstyle and dazzling earrings provided the finishing touches.

She looked chic in a floor-skimming tiered black Christian Dior dress with a ribbon at the waist.  She looked super statuesque in it, especially with the pin straight hair.

Her look was finished off with red lips and gold accessories.

Nicole Kidman finally brought it on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her HBO movie 'Hemingway & Gellhorn'.

She was stunning, in a sleek black and gold Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 halter dress with beading.  It reminded me of her Chanel No. 5 commercial, she looked alluring and elegant.

A curly faux bob and subtle cat eyes played up the beauty of the dress.
