Amy Poehler in Basler - 2013 Emmy Awards
'Parks & Recreation' star, Amy Poehler wore a black gown to this year's Emmys.
The Emmy-nominated actress wore a Basler gown with a sheer chiffon top and a fitted skirt with embellishments at the hips. A low ponytail and fiery Irene Neuwirth jewels finished her look. I wish she'd paired the black with emeralds/rubies for a more stand-out effect.

Amy Poehler in David Meister - 2013 Independent Spirit Awards
Amy Poehler attended the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards looking sharp.
She wore a tailored, navy blue silk crepe cocktail dress by David Meister with structured shoulders and an elegant feel. Amy doesn't usually go big with her accessories but at this event, she added some colourful contrast with the red Edie Parker clutch and Jimmy Choo peep-toe heels.
I love this clean, sparkling look from Amy.

Amy Poehler attended the SAG Awards last evening.
The 'Parks and Recreation' star wore a very simple black Zuhair Murad gown for the evening.
It all may look plain but I really like her understated look, completed with a light pink lip colour, Forevermark jewelry and a grey clutch.

2013 Golden Globes - Black (Part I)
Black reigned supreme on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.
Kate Hudson was splendid in a black Alexander McQueen gown with full sleeves and a gaping keyhole neckline. What really made the gown look spectacular was the starburst like gold embellishment around the neck and the detail at the waist.
And of course, the look was completed with her bright, cheery red carpet laugh.

Amy Poehler in Stella McCartney - 2012 Emmy Awards
Amy Poehler looked great at this year's Emmys, held in LA.
The 'Parks & Recreation' actress was clad in a beaded black Stella McCartney gown with a halter-neck.
For the past few awards shows, Amy has done nude/blush dresses so it was nice to see her change it up this time around. That being said, I wish she'd taken the change initiative forward and worn her hair in a sleek ponytail.

Amy Poehler wore a David Meister dress for the 2012 Writers Guild Awards.
The nude, one-shoulder lace dress was nice but she should have worn a different coloured shoe - those nude peep-toes are too matchy-matchy.
An updo, bold eyelashed & pink lips completed her look.
