2014 Golden Globes - Black (Part II)

Black, as always, was a favourite for many stars at last night's Golden Globe Awards.

Jessica Chastain created a bombshell look in her custom black Givenchy dress.  The pattern on the dress created wonderful curves for the red headed actress, who wore her locks in retro manner and finished the look with a stunning Bulgari necklace.

Zoe Saldana in Balmain - 2013 Comic-Con

Zoe Saldana attended Comic-Con to promote her upcoming superhero movie, 'Guardians Of The Galaxy'.

She looked effortlessly stylish in a cool blue Balmain Resort 2014 jumpsuit.  The look was blinged out in the showing but Zoe kept hers simple, just adding diamond studs to the mix.

A flirty ponytail kept her hair off the shoulders and pink lips added a contrasting colour. Black peeptoes might not have been my preference though, considering it's summer and white heels are the pick of the season.

Zoe Saldana in Gucci - Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live Concert

Zoe Saldana wore Gucci to the Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live Concert held in London.

It was a Fall 2013 top for her.  The structured black top with strong shoulders and peplum waist was worn with black leather pants by Zoe, along with simple strappy sandals.

An updo, and a gold cuff completed her look.

Zoe Saldana in Valentino - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 6 & 'Blood Ties' Premiere

Zoe Saldana attended the premiere of her movie 'Blood Ties' in Cannes tonight, on the sixth evening of the grand festival.

She looked sweet in a pale blue Valentino Fall 2013 gown.  I loved the sharpness of the white shoulder straps against the light, airy feel of the rest of the embroidered tulle dress.

Zoe pulled back her hair with a braided head band and finished off the look with red lips.  It isn't a typical, theatrical Zoe Saldana look though, even if she looks great.

Zoe Saldana in Emanuel Ungaro - 'Blood Ties' Cannes Photocall

Zoe Saldana looked incredible for the photocall of 'Blood Ties' today.

She wore a look from the very interesting Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2013 collection; she looked completely at ease in the slouchy top and polka dot print draped skirt.

Zoe added colour via the orange ankle-strap pumps. I cannot wait to see what she wears on the red carpet tonight.

Zoe Saldana in Lanvin - 'Life is Amazing' Presented in Cannes

Last night, Zoe Saldana made an appearance at the screening of a short series called 'Life is Amazing', presented by The Weinstein Company in Cannes.

The stylish actress wore a dark, laid-back, loose silk Lanvin Fall 2013 dress to the event, accessorised with a diamond bracelet, wavy locks, pink lips, red nails and Gucci sandals.

It was the perfect choice for a screening.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

After her sweet, pale grey Alexis Mabille gown, Zoe Saldana switched to a Givenchy dress for the VF Oscars party in LA.

The halter-neck black dress featured a mix of current trends including sheer black fabric, peplum waist, ruffles, and florals.  The top I really liked on the dress, but the long silk skirt would have looked less fussy without the addition of tiered part near the hem.

Zoe wore her hair up, and completed the look with red lips and edgy rings.

Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille - 2013 Oscars

Zoe Saldana brought her unique sense of style to the 2013 Oscars.

She stood out in a dress from the Alexis Mabille Spring 2013 Couture collection - this is the designer's first outing on the red carpet.  Her pale grey dress featured a floral bodice, a waist cinching thick belt and a tiered skirt with a train.

I'm not always a fan of Alexis Mabille creations, but more often than not, they're as beautiful as this dress.  Zoe wore it with a sleek, shiny hairstyle, Neil Lane jewels and Roger Vivier heels.

Zoe Saldana in Dolce & Gabbana - 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Zoe Saldana brought the 'cute' factor to the pink rug at the  2013 Independent Spirit Awards.

The always on-trend actress wore one of this spring's most popular trends: stripes.  Her white and green, slightly loose-fitting Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 dress was perfect for her and the event.

Her look was completed with wavy, glossy tresses, smokey eyes and white Casadei pumps.  Green and white is one of my favourite combinations this season.

Zoe Saldana in Salvatore Ferregamo - 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

Zoe Saldana hit the MTV Video Music Awards, held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last night.

She looked great in a soft, powder pink Salvatore Ferregamo Resort 2013 dress with full sleeves.  On the runway the dress seems sort of casual, but trust Zoe to make it seem effortlessly red carpet worthy.

She completed her look with curly hair, bare minimum make-up and sandals by Ferregamo.

Zoe Saldana in Elie Saab - 'The Words' LA Premiere

Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet at the ArcLight Theatre in LA, for the premiere of her movie 'The Words' in which she stars with Bradley Cooper.

Zoe looked lovely like always in an embellished gold tone Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.  The dress featured delicate embellishments, three-quarter sleeves and a below the knee scalloped hemline.

Zoe always looks better in short dresses so I'm glad she kept it that way here.  A messy updo, red lips and Brian Atwood 'Teodara' pumps completed her look.

Zoe Saldana made an appearance at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards looking fabulous as always.

Zoe wore a geometric print, sleeveless frock from the Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012 dress and looked great in it.  The colour was perfect on Zoe, as was the print and silhouette.

Her hair was put up in a neat bun and she completed her look with gold hoop earrings and fabulous Brian Atwood sandals.

Shailene Woodley attended her first ever Haute Couture Week show in Paris yesterday; she was joined by Zoe Saldana for the evening.

Shailene looked grown-up and elegant in a cream jacket and black pants, which made her look even more statuesque. I loved her fresh-faced look and as usual she opted for no accessories, the finishing touches included a bun and starppy heels.

Zoe Saldana was adorable in a glimmering salmon pink dress.  Wavy locks, smokey eyes, clutch and black peep-toes completed her look.

Zoe Saldana in Louis Vuitton - Persol Magnificent Obsessions: 30 Stories Of Craftmanship In Film Event

Zoe Saldana attended the Persol Magnificent Obsessions: 30 Stories Of Craftmanship In Film Event at the Museum of Moving Image in New York City last night.

Zoe looked super cute in a Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2012 ensemble.  The baroque embellished top and pant combination looked fabulous on her, largely due to the colours.

She wore it just like the model, with those cap-toe black pointy pumps, just finishing her look off with a slick bun.

Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung - 2012 CFDA Awards

Zoe Saldana attended the annual CFDA Fashion Awards at the Alice Tully hall in New York City.  

The event, which is heralded as the Oscars of the high fashion world was attended by Zoe in a Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 gown (she was also his date).

It's not often that we see Zoe do sleek, minimal looks but she worked it in this black dress with sheer panels and long sleeves. The slicked back hair, subtle cat eyes and dewy make-up really uplifted her look.

Zoe Saldana & Minka Kelly - Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Zoe Saldana joined Minka Kelly (and more) at the annual Polo Classic in New Jersey on Friday.

Minka in a simple dress was no surprise.  She looked pretty in a lacy white Zac Posen dress which was worn with Christian Louboutin sandals... no pumps!  Laid-back tresses and aviators completed her look.


Zoe Saldana shocked me a little bit, in her Theyskens' Theory t-shirt and leather shorts.  It seemed very out of place for a polo match.  A ponytail and tan sandals (Louboutins) concluded the look.

Zoe Saldana in Elie Saab - Cosmopolitan for Latinas Premiere Issue Party

Zoe Saldana was present at the first issue launch of Cosmopolitan for Latinas.

She looked adorable in a vintage Elie Saab dress.  The silver dress with a sheer floral bodice and tiered skirt could have been sickly sweet on someone else but works just fine on Zoe.

However, I wasn't too fond of her shoe choice - those Brian Atwood pumps feel mismatched.  She redeemed herself with her hair and make-up though.

Zoe Saldana In Alexis Mabille - The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo‘s 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon

Zoe Saldana wore an Alexis Mabille Spring 2012 Couture dress to The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo‘s 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon in West Hollywood yesterday with her stylist, Petra Flannery.

The coral coloured doily dress with a tulle hem was worn by Zoe with a metallic gold belt & matching Jimmy Choo pumps. 

  I wasn't a fan of the dress nor the pumps and this was ironic considering it was an event where stylists were being celebrated.

Zoe Saldana In Marios Schwab - Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Zoe Saldana wore a Marios Schwab Fall 2012 gown for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

The midnight blue satin dress had sheer shoulders and a flowing skirt. The jeweled collar adds sparkle to the dress.

 I feel like Zoe is the best candidate to really pull of this dress as she brings her own touch.  She finished her look with wavy hair, red lips, a Judith Leiber clutch and Giuseppe Zannoti heels.

Zoe Saldana In Balmain - 2012 Independent Spirit Awards

Zoe Saldana walked the purple carpet at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards looking mighty fine in a Balmain Spring 2012 mini.

The floral dress with three-quarter sleeves also features an open back.

Zoe wore her hair in waves and completed the look with nude, ankle-strap Brian Atwood pumps which actually elongate her legs.
