Meryl Streep in Stella McCartney - 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Meryl Streep wore a plain black Stella McCartney dress to the 2014 SAG Awards.

The Best Actress nominee's look felt uninspiring and dull, and totally not suitable for an awards ceremony.  There's something way too casual about it all; Meryl has done a lot better in the past.

Meryl Streep & Julia Roberts - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep made quite the accessory statement at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, held in CA last evening.

Julia was clad in a printed, silk dress by the currently popular Juan Carlos Obando.  The print was alright, but the silk wasn't particularly flattering on Julia's statuesque figure - I much preferred the structure of her Golden Globes dress - see here.  A tousled, carefree hairstyle complimented the dress and her look was finished off with a Barbara Bui clutch.

Meryl Streep wore a shorter, cocktail dress in a midnight blue colour, by Stella McCartney. The beaded dress was elegant on Meryl and she finished her look with sheer tights and black heels.

Cameron Diaz in Stella McCartney - 2013 Met Ball

Stella McCartney loyalist, Cameron Diaz wore exactly that at the 2013 Met Ball.

I thought this was a stellar look from Cameron; that cobalt blue is to die for, and I admire the unique design of the dress that includes a cape-like neck, a spiky gold belt and a column skirt.

Cameron didn't require much else, thanks to the drama of the dress and finished her look with a slick of eyeliner and light pink lip gloss.

Kristen Stewart in Stella McCartney - 2013 Met Ball

Kristen Stewart combed her hair!

She wore her hair up in a gelled updo for the 2013 Met Ball, which she attended with Stella McCartney.  I like this take of hers, on a punk couture theme.  She appeared at ease in the maroon jumpsuit with lace detail but her make-up is what really sold me on this look.

Kirsten Dunst in Proenza Schouler - 'Upside Down' LA Screening

Kirsten Dunst stepped out in LA for the screening of her movie 'Upside Down' on Wednesday evening.

The fashion risk-taker stuck to a black dress for the event, in the form of her Proenza Schouler Fall 2013 dress with a waist cinching belt.

I loved the dresses from this collection and even though Kirsten didn't wear the exact one from the runway, the black dress works better for an evening event.  

She completed the look with Dior jewels, Proenza heels and a marble swirl print Stella McCartney clutch.  I love how the latter two accessories stop the look from being mundane.

Rashida Jones in Stella McCartney - 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Actress Rashida Jones added a bolt of colour to the pink carpet at the Indie Awards.

She wore a dark blue dress from the Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 collection with a bird feather print embroidery.  I like how the loose, boxy sleeves and drop waist suit the slightly casual, fun vibe at this event.

Never one to shy away from colour, Rashida added red via the lips and a sea green with the platform heels.

Emma Stone in Stella McCartney - 2013 Berlin Film Festival

Emma Stone posed at the photocall for her movie 'The Croods', held during the 2013 Berlin Film Festival.

She looked lovely in a bright Stella McCartney Spring 2013 number; the white, sheer fabric and orange make for a refreshing combination.  And unlike on the model, the dress fit Emma a lot better.

She wore her hair up in a bun and completed her look with bright red lips and neutral pumps.

2013 Golden Globes - Black (Part I)

Black reigned supreme on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

Kate Hudson was splendid in a black Alexander McQueen gown with full sleeves and a gaping keyhole neckline.  What really made the gown look spectacular was the starburst like gold embellishment around the neck and the detail at the waist.

And of course, the look was completed with her bright, cheery red carpet laugh.

Kerry Washington in Stella McCartney - W Magazine and Dom Perignon’s 2013 Pre-Golden Globes Party

After an amazing run with the 'Django Unchained' press tour, I admit, I was a little disappointed to see her look so casual at the W Magazine pre-Golden Globes bash.

She wore a printed, loose-fit jumpsuit by Stella McCartney with a blazer by the designer too.

If she'd left out the blazer, this look would have felt more formal.

For the 2012 American Music Awards, Kerry Washington wore a bright Stella McCartney Resort 2013 dress.

I love the bright, canary yellow shade on her and her cute pin-up hairstyle. Her look was completed with coral Christian Louboutin pumps and a lemon-yellow Kotur clutch.

Kate Bosworth in Stella McCartney - SK-II Skincare Line Launch at David Jones

Kate Bosworth, who is the face of SK-II Skincare attended an event for the brand at the David Jones in Sydney, Australia 

The blonde actress, who recently became engaged, looked wonderful in a gold number from the Stella McCartney Spring 2013 collection.

The strapless, dazzling dress ended at the knees and was worn with matching gold sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.   I like everything about this look, apart from the hair.  I wish she'd kept it smooth and glossy, not messy.

Amy Poehler looked great at this year's Emmys, held in LA.

The 'Parks & Recreation' actress was clad in a beaded black Stella McCartney gown with a halter-neck.

For the past few awards shows, Amy has done nude/blush dresses so it was nice to see her change it up this time around.  That being said, I wish she'd taken the change initiative forward and worn her hair in a sleek ponytail.

Kirsten Dunst in Stella McCartney - 'Bachelorette' NYC Premiere

Kirsten Dunst was all smiles at the NYC premiere of 'Bachelorette', her upcoming comedy.

She donned a yellow floral ensemble from the Stella McCartney Resort 2013 collection, consisting of a short sleeved top and shorts.

I love that Kirsten embraced the cheery hue for the last time this year before Fall begins and paired it with ruby lips to not look washed out.

My only little complain is regarding those mustard Chloe heels - a more delicate sandal would have been nicer.

Lizzy Caplan was clad in blue at the premiere of 'Bachelorette' in New York City.

The actress' striking cobalt blue leather Halston Heritage dress featured full sleeves and a short hemline.

We haven't seen Lizzy's style as of yet as she's returned to the big screen after a long time (her last big movie was 'Mean Girls') but here's hoping we get to see good things.

Isla Fisher sparkled at the New York City held premiere of her latest movie called 'Bachelorette'.

The Australian actress played it pretty in a shimmering gold mini dress by Stella McCartney without sleeves and with a v-neck.

I'm not a fan of Isla's style, mainly because it just puts me to sleep.  Here she looks pretty in a sparkly dress, sandals and pretty hair but there's nothing to excite or intrigue me.

Jaime King joined her 'Hart of Dixie' co-star Rachel at the CBS, The CW & Showtime 2012 TCA Party.

She wore a beautiful ensemble from the Stella McCartney Fall 2012 collection which consisted of a blue and black brocade blouse and a high waisted skirt with a ruffled hem.

I know it's a Fall ensemble but I just love the colours, the silhouette and design.  Jaime finished her look with a bun, red lips and Jason Wu 'The Egrette' platform sandals.

The Duchess of Cambridge was seen in London, taking in a few exhibitions around the city.

She looked beautiful in a cerulean blue dress with short sleeves by Stella McCartney.  The colour was a first for the Duchess and it went great with her tan.

The Duchess showed her support for the upcoming Olympics by wearing a gold hooped necklace.  Her trademark blow dry and black pumps by Prada completed her look.

Anne Hathaway appeared on 'Jimmy Fallon' to talk about 'The Dark Knight Rises'.

Anne wore a gingham print dress with cut outs by Stella McCartney for the appearance.  The dress was paired with black pumps.

That's it.  She gets one more chance, after which I'll be over her style efforts.

Anne Hathaway in Stella McCartney - 'Late Show with David Letterman' Appearance

It's official, Anne Hathaway is in a black phase.

'The Dark Knight Rises' actress stopped by the 'Late Show with David Letterman' on Wednesday to promote her movie.  She opted for a black Stella McCartney Resort 2012 dress with tassels in the front and the back.  

It was worn with simple black pumps which kind of horrified me.  If you're going to wear Stella McCartney, wear the beautiful shoes from the label too!
