Kirsten Dunst in Michael van der Ham - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 5 & 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Premiere

Kirsten Dunst made me scratch my head as she walked down the Cannes red carpet for the premiere of 'Inside Llewyn Davis', which stars her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.

The dull dress she wore is from the Michael van der Ham Fall 2013 collection.  I hate to be so harsh but this dress was just a wrong choice - it's dull, it's shapeless, boring and ages her by at least fifteen years.  

I know she was trying not to take the thunder away from anyone but this is Cannes, you have to always bring your thunder!  A bun hairstyle and red lips completed her bizarre look; she fared better in 2012 (click here & here).

Kirsten Dunst in Louis Vuitton - 2013 Met Ball

Kirsten Dunst wore Louis Vuitton to the punk-themed Met Ball.

Her bottle green Fall 2013 gown featured a halter-neck, plunging neckline and a mega feathered skirt.  

While it isn't punk at all, it sure is a risk, with the side-boob situation happening.  I liked Kirsten's make-up, which included that beautiful, warm lip shade.

Kirsten Dunst in Proenza Schouler - 'Upside Down' LA Screening

Kirsten Dunst stepped out in LA for the screening of her movie 'Upside Down' on Wednesday evening.

The fashion risk-taker stuck to a black dress for the event, in the form of her Proenza Schouler Fall 2013 dress with a waist cinching belt.

I loved the dresses from this collection and even though Kirsten didn't wear the exact one from the runway, the black dress works better for an evening event.  

She completed the look with Dior jewels, Proenza heels and a marble swirl print Stella McCartney clutch.  I love how the latter two accessories stop the look from being mundane.

Kirsten Dunst attended the premiere of 'On the Road' in Canada during the TIFF.

She was lovely in a nude, subtly embellished sleeveless gown by Christian Dior.

The blonde lady wore it wavy smoothened locks and red lips.

Kirsten Dunst in Lanvin - 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' Appearance

Kirsten Dunst looked happy as can be when she made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' this past week.

She looked sensational in a black and white Lanvin Resort 2013 dress with a peplum waist. Kirsten has really got back her style mojo ever since the beginning of this year and it's awesome.

She completed the look with a touch of colour via her coral lips and black pumps.

Kirsten Dunst in Stella McCartney - 'Bachelorette' NYC Premiere

Kirsten Dunst was all smiles at the NYC premiere of 'Bachelorette', her upcoming comedy.

She donned a yellow floral ensemble from the Stella McCartney Resort 2013 collection, consisting of a short sleeved top and shorts.

I love that Kirsten embraced the cheery hue for the last time this year before Fall begins and paired it with ruby lips to not look washed out.

My only little complain is regarding those mustard Chloe heels - a more delicate sandal would have been nicer.

Kirsten Dunst in Louis Vuitton - Louis Vuitton Paris Boutique Opening

Kirsten Dunst graced the opening of a Louis Vuitton boutique on the Place Vendome in Paris yesterday.

Kirsten wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 dress for the event.  This dusky rose dress with a square neck, geometric print and a bow at the waist had a little bit of a 70s vibe about it.

She looks good but I would have liked to see an interesting accessory or unexpected dash of colour here.  Where's Olivia Palermo when you need her?

Kirsten Dunst in Louis Vuitton - 2012 amfAR Gala

Kirsten Dunst attended the 2012 amfAR Gala in a custom Louis Vuitton dress.

Kirsten's been playing with colour quite a bit recently; for the event, she wore this chiffon dress with a pale lavender bodice and a sky blue skirt, cinched in at the waist with an embellished waist band.

I know some people won't like how the top and skirt are different coloured but I actually don't mind it.  Her styling consisted of straight hair, diamonds and a multi coloured clutch.

Kirsten Dunst attended the premiere of 'On the Road' with her co-stars, including Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund.

She looked wonderful in a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2012 dress.  The fuschia silk-chiffon dress with a black waist-band was simple, classic and beautiful.

Kirsten wore her hair in waves, with a side-parting and added some sparkle with her Louis Vuitton jewels and clutch.

Kirsten Dunst in Dolce & Gabbana - 'On the Road' Cannes Photocall

Kirsten Dunst attended the photocall of 'On the Road' looking absolutely gorgeous.

She wore a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 dress.  The white dress had short sleeves and textured lace everywhere.  She looked positively angelic in the dress, worn with an updo and a flower tiara.  I also loved her choice of footwear here - she's wearing white Charlotte Olympia pumps with a gold platform.

Cannes always seems to bring out the best out of Kirsten and white dresses are always a great choice for the festival.  Now, why didn't Kirsten bring this at the Met Ball?

Kirsten Dunst in Louis Vuitton - Airport Style

Kirsten Dunst traveled in style as she arrived at the Nice Cote d'Azur airport for attending Cannes Film Festival.

She wore a printed, blue leopard print pajama shirt from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2012 collection that had white piping, a pocket and buttons.  She paired it with simple black pants and flat sandals.

Loose, natural hair, shades and Louis Vuitton luggage completed her super chic look.

When I think of Kirsten Dunst and Rodarte, this isn't what I imagine.

Then again, it wasn't totally shocking when I think of Kirsten's Met Gala history.  Last night she wore this skirt-suit which made her step back into the 90s and look a lot older than she is.

I loved her hair though.

Kristen Dunst attended the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards in basic separates.

The 'Melancholia' actress paired a Dolce & Gabbana mini that had a sweetheart neckline with a sharp white Chloé blazer.

The fun accessories really uplifted this look: I'm referring to the bright Chloé clutch & the daisy-print Dolce & Gabbana sandals.

Kirsten Dunst was at hand to help celebrate Rodarte at a dinner for the label, at the Chateau Marmont in LA.

The actress, and Rodarte loyalist wore a pair of pants from the Spring 2012 line with a crisp white shirt & a buttercup yellow blazer.

Some might say this is an overload of the sunny shade but I love that she wore this in the middle of winter (even if it's not as cold in LA as other places).  She completed her look with gold earrings and carried a black clutch.

Kirsten Dunst became another actress to wear a Valentino Spring 2012 dress during this awards season.

There isn't a dress that I don't like in this romantic collection from Valentino therefore, unsurprisingly I liked this look too.

Kirsten wore it quite simply, with contemporary straight locks, diamond earrings, oodles of eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and a light pink lip colour.

Kirsten Dunst was part of the LBD brigade at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

She wore a Christian Dior Spring 2012 dress for the event that had satin ribbon detail & chiffon tiers.

It's sweet and girly and I like that Kirsten wore her hair in a totally different style than we're used to seeing on her.  She also wore pink lipstick (I spy a red carpet trend coming along) instead of the expected red.

Kirsten Dunst went back to her favourite label - Rodarte, for the annual Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Gala, held in LA.

The blue shades are simply stunning on this strapless, chiffon gown with embroidered tiers.  

However, it makes Kirsten's hips look wide, which is a shame as her make-up is perfect.  Perfection.

I love the neat, retro hairstyle, and the super-cute diamond earrings too.

At a special screening of her movie, 'Meloncholia', which she has been promoting Stateside, Kirsten wore a Spring 2012 Dolce & Gabbana frock.

The tomato-print dress looked great on the actress;  she wore her hair in old Hollywood waves, with tons of mascarra, a light pink lip colour, adorable gold earrings and black criss-cross sandals.

I love this blue gingham print, taffeta silk mini dress - it's adorable.
