Jennifer Aniston in Chanel & Vivienne Westwood - 'Life Of Crime' at 2013 TIFF

Jennifer Aniston attended the photocall and premiere events for her new movie, 'Life of Crime' in Toronto during the annual film festival.

For the photocall, Jen wore a black, not-so-basic (because it's Chanel) dress with short sleeves and a tailored fit.  Her look comprised of black accessories, including a watch and sandals by Saint Laurent.

At the premiere, she went for a new look, showing a bit of skin in a pale blue Vivienne Westwood draped corset dress with an uneven hemline.  I love the colour on her California tan and the earrings, but the round toe nude pumps were an uninspiring choice.

Olivia Wilde at the 2013 TIFF

Olivia Wilde has been a busy bee at this year's Toronto Film Festival, with the actress attending multiple events during the week for her movie 'Rush'.

She promoted 'Rush' at Holt Renfrew in a Gucci Resort 2014 look. I love the cool green hue and the laid-back nature of those pants, but those nude Louboutin pumps have no business here.

At the premiere, she picked a sexy Roland Mouret Resort 2014 sheath dress with a straight cut bodice and shoulder straps and matching accessories.

Then at the Moroccan Oil and Variety Studio event, she wore an ensemble by Marios Schwab. For me, this look was the one that lacked the punch that the previous two looks packed.

Reese Witherspoon in Jason Wu - 'The Devil's Knot' at 2013 TIFF

The lovely Reese Witherspoon attended the premiere of her new movie, 'The Devil's Knot' in Toronto.

The actress wore a light, printed chiffon dress from the Jason Wu Resort 2014 collection; the dress felt summery enough, yet totally evening appropriate.

I loved the pops of colour that came through her lip shade and the pea green pumps.

Sandra Bullock in Roland Mouret - 'Gravity' at 2013 TIFF

Sandra Bullock was colourful and clad in pink, at the press conference for her new movie, called 'Gravity', at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

She looked smashing of course, in the sleeveless sheath dress by Roland Mouret with a white panel running down the side, which cleverly created an elegant, and curved silhouette for the actress.

Sandra left her brunette locks in beachy waves and finished the look with natural make-up and neutral sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Jennifer Garner in Dolce & Gabbana - 'Dallas Buyers Club' at 2013 TIFF

Jennifer Garner joined Matthew McConaughey at the premiere of their new movie, 'Dallas Buyers Club' in Toronto for the annual film fest.

Jennifer looked lovely in a red and caramel Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress.  Her new bangs frame her face beautifully and make her look years younger.

She finished the look with a Max Mara clutch and Brian Atwood sandals.

Naomie Harris and Idris Elba attended the premiere of 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Naomie was stunning in a delicate black tulle frock from the Marchesa Resort 2014 collection.  It could have just been a black dress but she really made the look her own with the sleek hairstyle, a glossy cherry pout and quirky earrings.

Kate Winslet in Jenny Packham - 'Labor Day' at 2013 TIFF

A glowing Kate Winslet was in Toronto on Saturday evening for the premiere of her movie 'Labor Day'.

The irony in the name aside, she looked absolutely splendid in a midnight blue Jenny Packham gown, no doubt custom-made for the mother to-be.

A low bun, pink lips, diamonds and a clutch finished out her look.

Keira Knightley in Mary Katrantzou - 'Can A Song Save Your Life?' at 2013 TIFF

Keira Knightley paired up with Adam Levine at the premiere of their new movie, 'Can A Song Save Your Life?' at the Toronto Film Festival.

For the night, Keira chose a pastel, floral and aesthetically pleasing Mary Katrantzou dress. The printed dress with a rounded bodice and a full skirt was worn with neutral Mary-Janes by Keira.  I loved how she picked out the lavender from the dress and used it as eye shadow.

Elizabeth Olsen in Proenza Schouler - 'Therese' at 2013 TIFF

Elizabeth Olsen was in Toronto to attend the premiere of 'Therese'.

She wore a black and green dress from the always cool Proenza Schouler.  But as much as I like the simplicity and laid-back aura of the look, the Resort 2014 dress does nothing for Elizabeth due to it's shape.

A wavy hairstyle, glossy lips and black open toe booties finished off the look.

Dakota Fanning in Valentino - 'The Last Of Robin Hood' at 2013 TIFF

Dakota Fanning was pretty in blue at the premiere of  'The Last Of Robin Hood' in Toronto.

The young actress, who more often than not sticks to neutrals, surprised by donning this royal blue silk Valentino Fall 2013 frock with a neat portrait neckline and full sleeves.

A half-up, half-down hairstyle added interest, as did the cat eyes and red lips.  Dakota also wore nude heels, which kept attention on the dress.

Nicole Kidman in Altuzarra - 'The Railway Man' at 2013 TIFF

Nicole Kidman arrived at the 2013 Toronto film festival for the premiere of her new War time movie, called 'The Railway Man', in which she stars with Colin Firth.

The tall Aussie lady wore a slimming black suit with lace inserts from the Altuzarra Resort 2013 collection. I wish she had worn those those bootcut trousers from the collection, instead of the narrow legged ones she opted for but that's about it.

An updo, red lips and bow pumps by Louis Vuitton finished her polished look.

Kristen Wiig in Vena Cava - 'Hateship Loveship' at 2013 TIFF

The wonderful Kristen Wiig attended the premiere of 'Hateship Loveship' at the annual Toronto Film Festival in style.

Keeping in tune with the warm weather, Kristen wore a black blouse with lattice cut-outs near the shoulders and a pair of printed shorts from Vena Cava.  It was eye-catching without being too casual and I loved her hairstyle and T-bar wedge heels.

Mia Wasikowska in Christian Dior - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' at 2013 TIFF

The Toronto International Film Festival commenced last week.

On day one, Mia Wasikowska premiered her new movie, titled, 'Only Lovers Left Alive' with her co-stars Tom Hiddleston & Anton Yelchin.

Mia wore a simple red Dior gown, with no accessories and kept the hair and make-up simple as always.

One shouldn't hope in Mia's case.

Olga Kurylenko attended the premiere of 'To the Wonder' along with Rachel McAdams at this year's TIFF.

She wore a plunging, beautifully embellished emerald green cocktail dress with full sleeves and a belt by Elie Saab.

As usual, the Red Carpet King's dress draws your eyes so Olga kept the rest of her look simple.

Rachel McAdams finally attended an event for the Terrence Mallick directed movie 'To the Wonder'.

The Canadian actress walked the red carpet in her home country in a forest green Elie Saab Fall 2012 gown.  It featured a single long sleeve, a high neck and a draped bodice.

It sure is a fussy gown with all that detail but to her credit, Rachel stood her own.  Kohl rimmed eyes and a bun made sure her face got attention too.

Anna Kendrick looked pretty at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of yet another movie called 'The Company You Keep'.

She wore a dark Mulberry Fall 2012 dress to the event which was a contrast from her glamorous Elie Saab gown.

A flirty ponytail, perfect make-up and blue Brian Atwood sandals finished up her look.

Naomi Watts walked the red carpet in Toronto for the premiere of her movie  'The Impossible' in which she stars with Ewan McGregor.

I love how the colour exudes the essence of summer and is a new shade on Naomi.  It fit her beautifully too.

Nina Dobrev wore her second Monique Lhuillier look this week to a brilliant result.

She wore this ensemble of a light printed sleeveless top and shorts from the Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 collection.

Nina didn't overly style it, just finishing off her look with wavy hair and those orange ankle-strap Manolo Blahnik heels from the collection.

Lily Collins attended the premiere of 'Writers', held during this year's TIFF.

The actress donned a full sleeved dress from the Balmain Pre-Fall 2012 collection.   It had the intricate embellishments that have become typical of the label.

Lily wore it with those moss Casadeis though, which was disappointing as those shoes do not go well with that dress.  Also, I wish she'd tied her hair up in a ponytail.

For the photocall of 'Silver Linings Playbook', Jennifer Lawrence went a low key dress.

She wore a textured white dress with three quarter sleeves from the Antonio Berardi Resort 2013 collection.

I like how striking it looks when coupled with Jennifer's dark hair and blue eyes.  She wore it with bronze Nicholas Kirkwood heels, but a brighter colour would have been a better choice.
