She respected the clean lines of this Spring 2013 dress by going almost accessory-less.  Slicked back hair, and lace covered Manolo Blahnik pumps were all she wore with it.

Nina Dobrev wore her second Monique Lhuillier look this week to a brilliant result.

She wore this ensemble of a light printed sleeveless top and shorts from the Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 collection.

Nina didn't overly style it, just finishing off her look with wavy hair and those orange ankle-strap Manolo Blahnik heels from the collection.

Christina Ricci in Valentino - Elle Fashion Next Runway Show

Christina Ricci attended the Elle Fashion Next Runway Show in NYC.

She looked pretty in a pastel Valentino Resort 2013 frock. I adored the hues of lemon yellow, sugary pinks, mint and baby blues on this dress.

Christina looked great but my only complain would be that she paired it with black pumps - a dress like this demands a fun pair of shoes.

Sarah Jessica Parker skipped the Style Awards in New York in lieu of FIT’s Award for Artistry of Fashion Presentation.

The actress wore a vivid checker print, red and white dress from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 collection.

In her usual style, SJP wore the dress with completely different accessories.  Here she wore coffee coloured, dotted Manolo Blahnik pumps and a spike cuff by Fred Leighton.

Jessica Biel in Zac Posen - 'Total Recall' Dublin Premiere

Jessica Biel looked lovely in a cocktail dress at the Dublin premiere of 'Total Recall', held at the Savoy hotel in the city.

The actress decided to forego the usual red carpet uniform of a full-fledged gown in favour of a more comfortable shorter dress.  Her strapless ivory and gold jacquard dress from the Zac Posen Fall 2012 collection featured an intricate, folded bodice.  

Jessica went for a faux-bob hairstyle like her co-star Kate Beckinsale but kept it slightly messy to add edge.  The rest of her look was completed via red lips, embellished clutch and mustard satin Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Katie Holmes in Givenchy and Holmes & Yang - Artistry on Ice Promotional Event

Katie Holmes was in Beijing, China for the past few days for the promotions of the Artistry on Ice event.

At one event, Katie wore a low-cut black Givenchy dress.  She kept her look fairly simple, just topping the dress with a suede red blazer from her own line Holmes & Yang.

Her hair was pulled back into a chic ponytail, she wore layered gold necklaces and completed the look with black pumps by Manolo Blahnik.

Sarah Jessica Parker in L'Wren Scott - Forget Me Not Gala

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Forget Me Not Gala to support the Alzheimer's Association on Monday in New York City.

She wore a navy L'Wren Scott sheath, topping it with a matching velvet YSL jacket.  Wavy tresses and black Manolo Blahniks completed her look.

Considering the mood of the event, this dark look was suitable.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in The Row - 2012 CFDA Awards

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen had a big night on Monday.

The sister-designers won the award for Best Womenswear Designer of the Year (for The Row), beating Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler.

Ashley wore a gorgeous, purple satin dress with a ruffle front from The Row Resort 2013 collection. She wore her hair back in a bun and finished off the look with Sidney Garber jewelery, a bag from The Row & her favourite Manolo Blahniks.

Mary-Kate debuted a darker hair colour in a loose black blouse and wrap silk skirt from The Row Resort 2013 collection.  Bronzed make-up, kohl-rimmed eyes, a The Row bag and Louis Vuitton heels completed her look.

Rihanna in Adam Selman - 'Battleship' LA Premiere

Rihanna wore a white dress to the 'Battleship' LA premiere.

The Adam Selman dress had a plunging neckline and a thigh-high leg split.  I get the whole minimal yet sensual concept Rihanna was aiming for, but the result of this was just a little tacky.

The way that it's clinging on to her is off-putting so this doesn't work for me, even if I like her choice of Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Rihanna in Stella McCartney - 'Battleship' Sydney Premiere

Rihanna is ruling the minimalist realm right now.

She wore a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012 jumpsuit for the Australian premiere of 'Battleship' today.  

Instead of wearing it with a white button-down, she opted to wear it on its own which gave it more glamorous feel.

 She left the look uncluttered, simply wearing her hair in a high bun with a sweeping fringe and keeping her make-up fresh.  Simple Manolo Blahnik sandals were the finishing touch to her cool look.

Dakota Fanning in Halston - 2012 GLAAD Media Awards

Dakota Fanning wore a vintage Halston dress to the GLAAD Media Awards in NYC last night.

She looked good in this halter ivory gown with golden embroidery and a tulip hem.

Also, she didn't wear pumps!  Dakota carried gold box clutch by Ferregamo and slinky Manolo Blahnik gold sandals.

Olivia Palermo at Paris Fashion Week

I realise that this post is a little late but here goes anyway.

Olivia Palermo attended some shows during PFW last week and as always she looked ultra fabulous.

At the Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld presentation, she wore a menswear inspired pant-suit with cropped pants, a white blouse. She brightened up the look for the evening with an aqua chain-strap clutch & her favourite Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Then for the Christian Dior show she wore a paint splatter print, drop-waist dress with a black cardigan.  A metallic envelope clutch & caged heels completed the look.

She was spotted leaving her hotel in an all-black ensemble which was spruced up by the addition of a vibrant, electric-blue tote.

Reese Witherspoon attended the photocall of 'This Means War' on a sunny Friday in Rio de Janeiro.

Charlize Theron became another celebrity to wear a dress from the Stella McCartney Spring 2012 collection.

The actress wore the one-shoulder, tri-tone dress at the LA premiere of 'Young Adult'.

The dress is difficult to pull off, and the I can't say Charlize succeeded;  the fit is unflattering, and the colours are quite dull.

But the shoes... the shoes! The bondage-style Manolo Blahniks are just gorgeous.

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in florals at the NYC premiere of her movie, 'New Year's Eve'.

The vintage Pauline Trigere dress with a delicate print looks lovely on her - she wore it with gorgeous layered necklaces and rosy, satin Manolo Blahnik heels (who else?).

Also, I'm glad she's back to her signature, blonde wavy hairstyle.

I love the satin Manolo Blahnik pumps and her hair but the dress is too sombre, and slightly shapeless.
