Keira Knightley in Valentino- 2014 Sundance Film Festival

Keira Knightley joined her young co-star, Chloe Moretz at the screening of their movie 'Laggies' at Sundance.

It was a low-key, winter luxe affair from Keira in a grey on grey Valentino ensemble of an oversized knit worn over a lace skirt.  Accessories came in the form of a thin belt and black boots.

Tousled, effortless hair and smokey eye make-up completed her look.

Keira Knightley in Mary Katrantzou - 'Can A Song Save Your Life?' at 2013 TIFF

Keira Knightley paired up with Adam Levine at the premiere of their new movie, 'Can A Song Save Your Life?' at the Toronto Film Festival.

For the night, Keira chose a pastel, floral and aesthetically pleasing Mary Katrantzou dress. The printed dress with a rounded bodice and a full skirt was worn with neutral Mary-Janes by Keira.  I loved how she picked out the lavender from the dress and used it as eye shadow.

Keira Knightley in Erdem - 'Anna Karenina' LA Premiere

Keira Knightley left everyone stunned at the premiere of her movie 'Anna Karenina' in Hollywood's ArcLight Theatre.

She was resplendent in a mint Erdem Spring 2012 dress, modified to become a full-fledged gown.  The colour is very refreshing on Keira, who has been sporting lace Valentino dresses for quite some time.

Her hair was twisted into a bun and beautiful lashes and a bright pink lip colour finished off her look.

Keira Knightley in Elie Saab - 'Anna Karenina' Premiere at 2012 TIFF

Keira Knightley walked the red carpet in another couture gown, this time at the 2012 TIFF.

The 'Anna Karenina' actress wore a black Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture gown with sheer, embellished detail and swaths of tulle.  Needless to say, the dress looked beautiful on her.

Keira breather life into the dress and completed the look with an updo, diamond earrings and pink lips.

Keira Knightley in Chanel - 'Anna Karenina' London Premiere

Keira Knightley descended down the red carpet in London,for the premiere of the highly talked about 'Anna Karenina' in which Keira essays the role of the lead character.  

I was expecting to see Valentino on her but Keira went for a delicate, powder pink gown with rosettes and tiers from the Chanel Fall 2012 Couture collection.  I love that Keira kept that wide metallic waist band too as it breaks up the sweetness of the dress.

A soft updo, diamond earrings, rosy make-up and Chanel jewelery concluded her beautiful look.

Keira Knightley in Valentino - 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World' LA Premiere

Keira Knightley landed in LA yesterday to attend the premiere of her latest movie 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World' in which she stars along side Steve Carell.

It was a beautiful, Grecian style, colourfully embroidered tulle gown from the Valentino Fall 2012 collection for her.  Keira wears Valentino well, and this is no exception.

She really committed to that Grecian theme by wearing her hair in a soft, messy bun and adorning it with a red hair piece.  Make up consisted of soft, smokey eyes and nude lips.

Keira Knightley In Burberry - 'A Dangerous Method' London Premiere

Keira Knightley looked lovely in a Burberry Pre-Fall 2012 gown as she attended the London premiere of her upcoming movie 'A Dangerous Method'.

The dark maroon colour of the dress offsets her dark eyes beautifully.  The bubble sleeved dress featured a key-hole neckline and a a bow topped waist belt.

Keira finished off her look by styling her hair into an elegant marcel waved updo, star-shaped diamond earrings, light pink lips and a black clutch.

Keira Knightley In Nina Ricci - 2012 National Board of Review Awards Gala

It felt great to see Keira Knightley for an A-list event after a long while.

The British actress wore a Nina Ricci Resort 2012 dress for the National Board of Review Awards.

 The  black taffeta dress with a lacy bodice was pretty but the head-to-tie black was a bit uninspiring.  A colour break was necessary, in the form of the footwear (she's wearing Roger Vivier sandals) and those tights need to go.  Keira is also carrying a Chanel bag.

Rooney Mara In Roksanda Ilincic - 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' Sweden Premiere

First of all, Rooney Mara got rid of the bangs, thank heaven.

She wore a Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2012 jumpsuit to the Swedish premiere of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' that had a twist halter neck & a cutout with flared bottoms.

The way Rooney wore it reminded me of Keira Knightley, who wore a dress from the same collection in November (click here).

Keira Knightley In Roksanda Ilincic - 'A Dangerous Method' Premiere

Spotted: Keira Knightley looking beautiful, at the London premiere of her movie, 'A Dangerous Method'.

She donned a two-tone Roksanda Ilincic dress (Resort 2012) which has a halter neck & cutouts in the front and back.

Keira wore the dress with black sky-high, pin-point ankle-strap heels and a super sleek side-parted bun.

I'm in love with her hair & make-up, her face looks gorgeous.

In Valentino

The lovely Keira Knightely has been making several US talk show rounds, wearing Valentino couture pieces.

Her first appearance, in NYC saw Keira wearing a halter-neck dress adorned with rosettes all over. It's a pretty design but the colours are dull for this season!

She then wore a full-sleeved peacock print dress with two-tone Tabitha Simmon pumps. The dress seems too heavy and dark somehow and I'm not entirely on board with those shoes.

Fashion Roundup

At the Vivienne Westwood store launch held in LA, Heidi Klum wore a black dress from the designer's Anglomania collection with no jewelery and slicked back hair - I like.

Zoe Saldana too wore a shorter silver dress from the line, and paired it with colourful heels in true Saldana fashion!

At the premieres/screenings of her new movie, "Source Code" in which she stars with Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan wore two different dresses. First, a fitted Little White Dress from Versace with pointy nude kitten heels. I like the clean look but wish her hair didn't look so ratty. This look called for a an updo to show off the neckline.

She nailed the second look though, in a wacky yet gorgeous (LOVE the colour) Roksanda Illicinic dress, which she wore with black criss-coss sky-high sandals.

Cameron Diaz looked pretty great at a photocall for her upcoming movie, "Bad Teacher" at CinemaCon. She donned a black Alexander McQueen mini, topping it with a neutral Elizabeth & James blazer and adding a belt by McQueen too. She wore Lanvin heels.

Eva Longoria, at the International Film Festival, held in Mexico wore a pantsuit, with a Julien McDonald blazer and black peeptoes. It's a nice, sharp look but I'm not a big fan of the jacket - the shoulder pads are a bit too much.

Nicky Hilton, spotted at an event in LA wore a scalloped lace white mini with patent nude heels - flawless.

Vanessa Hudgens landed in the worst dressed of the week for me, in this snakeskin monstrosity of an outfit. Nothing about this look works, the dress, the headpiece, not even the seemingly safe black heels!

At the premiere of her first movie, "Soul Surfer", Carrie Underwood wore a nude & black Zuhair Murad dress. It's a little too close to the tone of her skin and the big flower at her hip is so distracting!

Keira Knightley, at the Empire Awards in London wore a sparkly nude dress by Rodarte. I'm not liking this dress much, the design's boring and the way she's done her hair isn't working. Neither are those stark black pumps.

Fashion Roundup

Carrie Underwood was at an event held for former US President George W. Bush and was aptly dressed! She looked lovely in a peachy coloured Hervé Leroux gown with her side swept hair and matching accessories.

Cheryl Cole too went the blush colour way in a silk Sass & Bide gown - it's Cheryl at her best! The hair is full of volume, make up perfectly done, the gown looks beautiful on her and I love her animal print clutch!
Miranda Kerr attended the Balenciaga & Spain Gala in San Francisco, CA. She looked absolutely radiant in a full sleeve gown by Balenciaga!

Olivia Munn, at the Humane Society's Genesis Awards wore a vintage floral strapless gown from What Goes Around Comes Around, adding an Elizabeth & James waist-cinching belt. It looks great against her tan and the floral print is so very spring.

Emmy Rossum too went for florals in the form of a sweet Dolce & Gabbana dress which she wore with a black blazer and red heels.

Vanessa Hudgens missed the mark, at the new Nylon magazine issue launch. She wore a white slip dress with a long cardigan. This all looked okay until I looked at her feet. Yikes! The sheer socks with the strappy heels look baaaad.

Whitney Port hosted an event in this assymetrical LBD, she spruced the look up with some fierce leopard print booties.

Keira Knightley exited the theatre in London, in this schoolboy-chic look. She wore separates and finished the look off with a tan saddle bag by Miu Miu and worn-in brogues.

Winter Wrap

Here are some of my recent favourite winter looks.

Kate Hudson was in London and wore a leather skirt with black Casadeis and topped them with this interesting Burberry coat. Jessica Alba, while in Paris went with an all black coat, under which she wore some tough looking boots.

Gwyneth Paltrow, spotted in NYC wore a military-inspired navy Burberry coat, love how she also wore some edgy black jeans and dove grey boots. A softer touch was added in the form of her powder blue scarf. Keira Knightley also wore Burberry, in the form of a gorgeous camel coloured shearling coat. Demi Moore mixed & matched patterns with her scarf and checkered coat and carried a bright purple Tod's tote.

The British Plate

British actresses, Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan did the Brits proud in their respective sartorial choices. It was great to see Keira Knightley back in action, and she certainly made waves, with her new haircut, a chic bob which she debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier. I loved the way she paired two prints together, and those burgundy heels are yummy. Carey Mulligan also wore colour, in the form of a chartreuse knee-length frock with black lining. It was a no-fuss look but still stood out. Sienna Miller went all out glam at her event, wearing a gown from one of her signature designers, Matthew Williamson. I love the bright colour and the shoulder detail, but a minor quip would be the creases throughout the length of the gown.
