Rosario Dawson in Vionnet - 2013 amfAR Gala

Rosario Dawson attended the 2013 amfAR Gala in Cannes last week.

After her Marchesa appearance on the red carpet, I have to say, this Vionnet dress just seemed like a disappointment.  The black dress, instead of being slimming, made her waist seem wider.

I wasn't too fond of those white heels with that dress either.

Rosario Dawson in Marchesa - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 7 & 'Cleopatra' Premiere

For her turn on the red carpet on the seventh evening of Cannes, Rosario Dawson went for a gold dress.

She was picture perfect in the embellished Marchesa Resort 2013 gown, which was practically made for such an event, as all Marchesa dresses tend to be.

A side-swept wavy hairstyle and classic matte red lips finished off the look.

2013 Golden Globes - Blue/Purple

Another strong colour of the night was blue in all its shades.

The Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) award winner Jessica Chastain opted for a baby blue coloured dress.  The custom-made Calvin Klein Collection dress had me at the colour but would have looked sleeker if the plunging neckline wasn't so loose-fitting.  

All that side, Jessica looked gorgeous neck up.  The pinned back red hair, berry-stained lips and those Harry Winston earrings gave her a classic, old Hollywood aura.

Rosario Dawson in Calvin Klein - 2012 Met Ball

Rosario Dawson chose a Calvin Klein gown for the Met Ball.

The faux-leather, turtle neck gown was a sore sight - the material is very tacky, and looks worse as a full-length dress.

Thankfully, her hair, make-up and earrings were good.

Rosario Dawson in Armani Privé - 2012 White House Correspondants Dinner

Rosario Dawson attended the 2012 White House Correspondants Dinner last night.

She wore an iridescent Armani Privé gown in a teal colour.  She lookes great - the hair and make-up are spot on but there's too much cleavage on show.
