Taylor Swift in J. Mendel - 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards

Taylor Swift was just stunning at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.

She wore a J. Mendel Fall 2012 gown that was white with gold lame detail and subtle cutouts at the waist.

She really changed it up in the hair & make-up department which impressed me most.  This is definitely her best look of 2012!

Nicole Kidman in L'Wren Scott - 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards

Nicole Kidman was radiant in a L'Wren Scott Fall 2012 dress at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards which she attended with husband Keith Urban.

Nicole wore the shortened version of the runway gown which made her look feel fresh but I wouldn't have minded seeing her in the full-length version.

Sleek, straight hair and Cartier jewels brought a sense of luxe to the prim feel of the collared neck and red L'Wren Scott heels finished off the look.

LeAnn Rimes in Stella McCartney - 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards

LeAnn Rimes wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2012 dress to the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards.

She carried this dress off quite well thanks to her athletic yet lithe frame and wore her hair up in a bun to show the detail near the neck.

 The accessories confused me though, those Louboutin sandals feel too heavy and that clutch is mismatched.

Carrie Underwood in Abed Mahfouz - 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards

Carrie Underwood showed off some leg in an Ahmed Mahfouz Spring 2012 Couture gown at this year's ACMs.

The ivory, strapless chiffon gown with embellished detail and a leg split was nice and all but felt slightly dated.

Curly, side-wept locks matched the tone of her gown which was off-putting too.
