Hayden Panettiere looked very happy to attend the CMAs.

She wore a pale blue, almost silvery tasseled dress by Georges Chakra Couture.

The hair was better this time, this updo is an improvement on the cheesy wavy hair she has been sporting for some time now.  I also like that she wore sandals not pumps.

Lucy Hale in Moschino - 2012 Country Music Awards

Lucy Hale of 'Pretty Little Liars' fame attended the CMAs.

The actress, who is currently working on a country music album wore an elegant black and white Moschino gown.

I like that she didn't go crazy with her look just to get attention at her first CMA event but the dress sort of ages her, don't you think?  Like the hair and make-up however.

Reese Witherspoon was pretty in pink as she presented an award at this year's CMAs.

The actress wore a strapless, hot pink cocktail dress with a gathered side by Stella McCartney.

She kept her hair simple and wore nude peeptoes.

Nicole Kidman brought her A-game to the CMAs, where she is now a regular fixture thanks to her husband Keith Urban.

Nicole wore a dazzling, gun-metal Fall 2011 Jean Paul Gaultier column gown.

A diamond choker and horrible black pumps were her choices.  

Those. Shoes. Kill. Me. (Not in a good way).

At least her hair was looking better.

Taylor Swift made quite the entrance at the CMAs in a gorgeous J Mendel creation.

The strapless, soft, draped gown with a train looked perfect on Taylor.  

She wore her hair back in waves, and added silver, shell-shaped earrings.  Bold eyelashes and pink lips completed her dewy make-up

LeAnne Rimes wore a Badgley Mischka dress to the CMAs.

I really want to like this silver embellished slinky looking gown but I simply can't, it's because LeAnne's not really owning the look.

And her make-up is simply tragic.

Prabal Gurung was the designer of choice for Ginnifer Goodwin at the CMA Awards.

The strapless, 2012 Resort frock with floral tiers was a little too cutesy on Ginnifer I thought.  The hairstyle wasn't working either.

American Idol winner & country crooner Carrie Underwood sparkled on the red carpet in a golden Spring 2012 Reem Acra number.


The column gown with a portrait neckline & cap sleeves was a perfect choice on Carrie who wore it with glossy tresses and gold earrings.
