Mindy Kaling in Georges Chakra - 2013 Emmy Awards

Mindy Kaling, the genius behind 'The Mindy Project', attended the 2013 Emmys.

She wore a dark, plum coloured Edition by Georges Chakra dress with a cut-out and embellished neckline and short sleeves.  The colour was incredible on Mindy, and the gown fit her like a glove.

A wavy updo, white manicure and a clutch finished out her look.

AnnaSophia Robb in Georges Chakra - 2013 CMT Music Awards

Another person to wear Georges Chakra to this year's CMT Music Awards was AnnaSophia Robb.

She looked sweet in the light pink dress from the Spring 2012 Couture collection.  The all over sparkly dress was matched with her equally sparkly Brian Atwood.

This overly girly and sweet style isn't something I warm up to personally, so it's a no from me even if neck up she looked lovely.

Carrie Underwood wore Georges Chakra to the 2013 CMT Music Awards.

The singer looked good in the powder blue top and shorts, which had a summer feel to them.  

However, the cheesy blonde hair and accessories let her down.

Hayden Panettiere in Georges Chakra - 2012 Country Music Awards

Hayden Panettiere looked very happy to attend the CMAs.

She wore a pale blue, almost silvery tasseled dress by Georges Chakra Couture.

The hair was better this time, this updo is an improvement on the cheesy wavy hair she has been sporting for some time now.  I also like that she wore sandals not pumps.

Gwen Stefani was seen at The Heart Foundation Gala with husband Gavin Rossdale on Thursday.

She wore a striking black LBD by Georges Chakra, wearing it with an updo and her ever-present red lips.

Vanessa Hudgens In Georges Chakra - Elton John's Oscar Viewing Party

Vanessa Hudgens wore a Georges Chakra Couture gown to Elton John's party.

The strapless gold column gown with a laser cut fish-scale tiers was alright however, the hair is aging and the gold purse looks tacky.

Miranda Kerr In Georges Chakra - Quantas 'Spirit of Australia' Event

The gorgeous Miranda Kerr was named as the ambassador of the Australian airline, Quantas at a party held in LA.

The model wore a scarlet, backless Georges Chakra Fall 2011 Couture dress that had cap-sleeves and was laden with sequins.

Miranda wore it with a sleek ponytail, gold earrings, red lips & gold pumps.  I know she probably wanted to show off the neckline with the ponytail, but I would have preferred it had she kept her hair down, in tousled waves.

VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul Concert

Lots of divas descended to the stage for VH1's concert celebrating soul.

Jennifer Hudson went for a 60's vibe in this micro-mini, paired with thigh-high boots and lots of jewellery.

Queen Latifah was typically red-carpet elegant in a one-shoulder gown by Georges Chakra.

Mary J. Blige wore a sparkly dress from the Michael Kors Fall 2011 gown - she looked great.

The Clinton Foundation Gala

Fergie & Jessica Alba were at The Clinton Foundation's Gala, part of President Clinton's 65th birthday celebrations in LA.

Both, co-incidentally wore white & navy!

Fergie was in a Georges Chakra Spring 2011 Couture dress.  

I am not an immediate fan of this dress (it's way too structural & busy for me) but it works for Fergie.  

The part I hate is the tight top knot - it doesn't do her any favours at all!  She wore silver Louboutins & carried a Herve Leger clutch.

Jessica Alba looked sweet & radiant in a Christian Dior blouse (Fall 2011) & skirt. (I couldn't find the skirt on the runway!)  

She wore hair in a quiff updo, and added sparkly diamond earrings, opaque tights and suede Brian Atwood pumps to finish off her look.  Also, love her feathery clutch!

Golden Globes After Party

And the party continues... here are some of my favourites at the Golden Globes After Party.

Kate Walsh's burnt orange cocktail dress (Prada?) looks great on her! Also wearing orange is youngling Selena Gomez (in Catherine Deane) with a matching cocktail ring.

Natalie Portman's yearning for comfort is absolutely understandable considering she's pregnant - I love her grey halter neck Azzaro dress which she paired with comfy silver flats (she's also clutching her Best Actress - Drama award!). Camilla Belle looked all slinky in a grey v-neck Giorgio Armani dress and Kim Kardashian looked relatively nice in a strapless black Nina Ricci gown - granted it follows her usual pattern of figure hugging, strapless dresses but the dangling earrings and red lips add quirkiness (still... the makeup is SO heavy! Gah, warpaint!)

Jennifer Lopez' flirty feather Marchesa dress looked cute - just not on a 41 year old. I would have loved to see this on Camilla Belle, and Camilla's dress on J.Lo (even though Camilla's gown is way too muted for J.Lo's diva style). Emma Roberts kept things age appropriate in a cream slip dress - I love the delicate leaf detail near the neck and those metallic Brian Atwoods keep things interesting. Nina Dobrev wore a cute a silver mesh Georges Chakra dress with cream Brian Atwoods.

Carousel of Hope Gala

Halle Berry & Jennifer Lopez attended the Carousal of Hope Gala in Bev Hills looking gorgeous! JLo was with her hubby, Marc Anthony and apart from the weird expression on her solo pose, she looks lovely in a white Georges Chakra dress complete with Neil Lane jewels. But have to say, Ms. Berry looked amaaaazing in a red hot Yves Saint Laurent dress... how is this woman 44 years old?! She was joined by her current beau, actor Olivier Martinez; such a great looking pair!
