Demi Lovato in Falguni & Shane Peacock - 2012 Teen Choice Awards

Demi Lovato went slightly over the top at this year's Teen Choice Awards.

The 'X Factor' judge wore a canary yellow, silver and black dress by the Indian label Falguni & Shane Peacock.

The fitted dress with a fringed hem looked good but I wasn't a fan of how Demi styled it.  The high ponytail did nothing to flatter her and those heels looked tacky.

Demi Lovato In Issa - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Demi Lovato changed into an Issa dress for a performance at the People's Choice Awards this year.

The asymmetrical red dress has a halter neck & lace lining.  It looks good on her but I'd tone down the make-up more, and swap the red lips for a neutral hue; another thing: those matching shoes. 

I hate how Demi always comes this close to looking perfect but misses it, usually because of the make-up.

Demi Lovato In Marchesa - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Demi Lovato wore a Marchesa Resort 2012 gown for the People's Choice Awards.

The light coral coloured dress has a sweetheart neckline, gold embellishments and a train.

Demi wears it well, with an updo and a Marchesa clutch.

Fergie In Isabel Marant

Fergie landed in Brazil, in a black (the original is in white) Fall 2011 Isabel Marant mini.

The woven, wool and tassle mini with full sleeves was worn by Fergie with a slicked back bun, aviators & peeptoes.

This particular dress has been very popular with celebrities this season.

Demi Lovato wore it in LA (click here) & Kim Kardashian (click here) in Australia.

Demi Lovato In Roland Mouret - 2011 Latin Grammy Awards

Demi Lovato turned up at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas in a  Fall 2011 Roland Mouret gown.

The original dress is in kelly green but Demi wore it in a plum shade.

I don't think the dress suits Demi at all - the colour is bad against her fake tan, the plunged neck is too wide, the length is too long and as a result there's a puddle of fabric near her feet.

The ombré hair in tight curls isn't great and neither is her make-up.

In Isabel Marant

There have been two sightings of Isabel Marant dresses this week, courtesy of Demi Lovato & Hilary Duff (she also wore the label earlier this week).

Demi wore a cream coloured knit dress (Fall 2011) by the designer with a fringed front panel.

It's a cute winter outfit but I'm underwhelmed by her choice of footwear - those clunky grey Louboutins are killing this look.

 

Hilary Duff wore a red & black print silk dress, with dotted tights and candy-striped Charlotte Olympia pumps.

I like the hairstyle, the dress and choice of whimsical tights, but those shoes are a bit much and don't work with the vibe of this dress.  Sorry Hil!
