Another strong colour of the night was blue in all its shades.
The Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) award winner Jessica Chastain opted for a baby blue coloured dress. The custom-made Calvin Klein Collection dress had me at the colour but would have looked sleeker if the plunging neckline wasn't so loose-fitting.
All that side, Jessica looked gorgeous neck up. The pinned back red hair, berry-stained lips and those Harry Winston earrings gave her a classic, old Hollywood aura.
Morena Baccarin from 'Homeland' wore a Valentino Fall 2012 Couture dress. I thought that the navy blue, full sleeved gown with the sequined centre panel looked too mature on her.
Morena has a great figure, and the gown, despite being beautiful, somewhat swamps it.
Lucy Liu was a stunning sight on the red carpet. The actress wore a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 ball-gown on the red carpet (another Pinterest favourite). I fell in love with the summer print on this beautiful, curtain inspired pale blue gown.
Lucy wore it with a fishtail braid which brought out her beautiful features.
Olivia Munn looked sharp in a dress by one of her favourites: Giorgio Armani.
The Spring 2013 dress ticked all the right boxes and fit her impeccably. I'm also thankful that she wore her hair up on this occasion, but that diamond Chopard necklace seemed odd against the almost playful, turquoise bodice of the dress and the clutch felt too large.
