It was a white column dress for her, also custom-made, with panels of tassels adoring the front strategically.

The clean, simple look fit in with the Calvin Klein aesthetic.

Solange Knowles in Calvin Klein - 2014 CFDA Awards

Solange Knowles attended the annual CFDA Awards, this year accompanying creative head Francisco Costa of Calvin Klein.

Usually one to opt for bright hues, Solange was dressed in a silver custom made dress with long tassels and delicate straps at the shoulder.  I loved the fluidity and the movement of the dress.

Solange accessorised with Jennifer Fisher jewels, a bright pink lip and natural hair, all of which work well with the dress.

Emilia Clarke in Calvin Klein - 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Emilia Clarke looked great again, this time at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

She wore a shimmery, rose-gold Calvin Klein Collection dress with one shoulder.  I love the fluidity and the texture of her dress and am glad the rest of her look was kept simple.

A side parted low bun, bold brows and pink lips completed her look; if I had to change something though, I'd make that matte black Rauwolf clutch disappear.

Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Lupita Nyong'o won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards last night.

The Kenyan actress looked amazing once more, in an athletic, sleek cut-out white gown by Calvin Klein Collection gown.  There are just no flaws to this knock-out look, worn with sparkling make-up.

I can't wait to see what the next few award shows bring us from Lupita.

2014 Golden Globes - Colour

Despite the black and white dresses outnumbering brightly coloured ones, these few stood out thanks to the vivid designs and shades. Some fared better than others...

Lupita Nyong'o was on everyone's (including mine) best dressed list after this red carpet and it's clear to see why.  The '12 Years a Slave' actress shut it down in this super elegant red Ralph Lauren gown with cape sleeves.  

Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Calvin Klein - ModelCo Event Australia

Rosie Huntington Whiteley travelled into the beautiful Australia last week for duties with a cosmetics brand she supports, called ModelCo.

She wore a slinky, and very revealing white number from the Calvin Klein Resort 2013 collection to great success.  Even though it's winter down under, the look screamed summer and showcased Rosie's figure and glowing California tan to perfection.

Dainty jewelry, bright pink lips and simple Guiseppe Zanotti sandals finished out the look.

The always consistent Rooney Mara attended this year's CFDA Awards with Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa.

She wore a black (obviously) dress by Calvin Klein with an interesting asymmetrical hemline and cut-outs.  As always, a bun and black sandals finished out her look.  It is dull but there's no denying that she looked good.

Doutzen Kroes in Calvin Klein - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 4 & ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ Premiere

Doutzen Kroes sported a completely different look for her second red carpet appearance during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

The Dutch supermodel worked the heck out of her body hugging, custom-made, white Calvin Klein dress with an open, low back, portrait neckline and full sleeves.

I loved the sleek, straight and side-parted hair, as well as the soft, matte red lip colour.  She wore the dress with white platform sandals by Calvin Klein too - I think I would have rather seen a nude sandal on this dress.

Calvin Klein 'Women in Film' Cannes Party

The annual Calvin Klein 'Women in Film' party took place last night in France; all the ladies wore Calvin Klein.  Click here to check out the fashion from 2012.

Carey Mulligan and Nicole Kidman both wore black. I liked Carey's simple look and appreciated Nicole's leather dress.

Rooney Mara was all about the bare minimum in her silk slip dress, slick bun and dewy make-up.

Naomie Harris cut a sharp figure in her dove grey cut-out dress, she was my favourite at this event.

Olivia Wilde wore white to the 2013 Met Ball.

She looked sexy in the simple silk cut-out gown by Calvin Klein.  A tousled hairstyle, minimal make-up and some edgy jewelry were all she wore to enhance the look.

It might be very subtle, but I can see her take on punk here.

For someone who tends to wear a lot of baggy shapes and prints, Maggie carried off this simple halter neck dress with aplomb.  The punkish element was also captured with her collar necklace, courtesy of Bulgari.

Katie Holmes attended her first post-divorce Met Ball in NYC last night.

The actress/designer wore a pure white Calvin Klein gown with a halter neck and a sweeping hem.  I, for one, love this fresh, clean look from her as it is quite the departure from her usual matronly style consisting of dark hues.

A quiff updo, smokey eyes and edgy Lorraine Schwartz earrings completed her look.

Jennifer Lawrence was a shimmering vision in at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar party, held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.

The Best Actress in a Leading Role award winner wore a one of a kind, glimmering gun-metal dress by Calvin Klein.   I have no comments about this, other than saying that Jennifer Lawrence had a perfect Oscar Sunday.

Kate Bosworth in Calvin Klein - 2013 Sundance Film Festival

Kate Bosworth attended the premiere of her movie 'Big Sur' at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

The actress, who posed with husband Michael Polish (also the director), wore a Calvin Klein Collection Pre-Fall 2013 look.

The high-neck, sleeveless fur top and leather pencil skirt I understand... but those white boots. They're the stuff fashion nightmares are made of.

Her hair was sleek in a low ponytail and she finished off her look with a warm lip colour.

2013 Golden Globes - Blue/Purple

Another strong colour of the night was blue in all its shades.

The Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) award winner Jessica Chastain opted for a baby blue coloured dress.  The custom-made Calvin Klein Collection dress had me at the colour but would have looked sleeker if the plunging neckline wasn't so loose-fitting.  

All that side, Jessica looked gorgeous neck up.  The pinned back red hair, berry-stained lips and those Harry Winston earrings gave her a classic, old Hollywood aura.

Emma Watson in Calvin Klein - 2012 Elle Women in Hollywood

Emma Watson was given the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award at the 2012 Elle Women in Hollywood event.

She looked great in this minimal black dress from the Calvin Klein Spring 2013 collection.

Her hair looks a lot better when styled this way and even if she looked good here, I'm still waiting to see Emma look drop-dead amazing on the red carpet.

Fergie in Calvin Klein - 2012 amfAR Inspiration Gala

Fergie was clad in a black Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress at the 2012 amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York City.

The textured dress with pailettes reached her knees and created quite the elegant evening look, something we don't see an awful lot on Fergie.

The centre parting is an issue with me, I believe it harshens her features and those pumps felt very clunky.

Kate Bosworth and Chloe Moretz travelled to Seoul in South Korea to attend a one night exhibition called 'Infinite Loop' by Calvin Klein.

Kate led the charge in a Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress which featured a leather bodice and a pale, almost mint skirt, decorated with a silver waist band.  The almost futuristic look was great on her.  She accessorised with a simple clutch and black pumps.

Chloe Moretz was cheery in a bright Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress.  She left her look very simple, and just chose to wear cream heels.
