Sandra Bullock in Lanvin - 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Sandra Bullock dazzled in green at the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The 'Gravity' actress wore a Lanvin dress with a wrap effect and a strapless top.  The design didn't draw me so much as that stunning colour and texture of the fabric, especially in context of Sandra's dark hair and eyes.

The only complain I have here is the choice to go completely bare in the accessories department, save for the bangle and the Roger Vivier clutch.  Perhaps some silver knot earrings or a simple necklace could have made a difference.  She finished the look off with pink cheeks and lips and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Sandra Bullock in Lanvin - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

'Gravity' actress Sandra Bullock won the award for Best Actress in an Action Movie at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards last night.

She looked beautiful in a wine coloured Lanvin dress with romantic, yet streamlined ruffled tiers down the length of the gown which was cinched in at the waist with a hard-edged black belt.

Sandra wore her brunette hair in a sleek, straight style and completed the look with dainty Fred Leighton earrings. Love.

2014 Golden Globes - Colour

Despite the black and white dresses outnumbering brightly coloured ones, these few stood out thanks to the vivid designs and shades. Some fared better than others...

Lupita Nyong'o was on everyone's (including mine) best dressed list after this red carpet and it's clear to see why.  The '12 Years a Slave' actress shut it down in this super elegant red Ralph Lauren gown with cape sleeves.  

Sandra Bullock in Alex Perry - 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival

Sandra Bullock brought some much needed colour to the ceremony at Palm Springs. The 'Gravity' actress received the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her work in the movie.

She wore a dress by famed Australian designer Alex Perry for the event.  I have always admired the combination of pink/orange or pink/red and this dress just bolstered that feeling.

The tangerine sleeves are so unexpected with the bubblegum pink hue of the rest of the dress and while I may not be a fan of the illusion neckline, it certainly is not a deal breaker.

Sleek hair, rosy make-up and shimmery rose-gold accessories finished her look.

Sandra Bullock in Roland Mouret - 'Gravity' at 2013 TIFF

Sandra Bullock was colourful and clad in pink, at the press conference for her new movie, called 'Gravity', at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

She looked smashing of course, in the sleeveless sheath dress by Roland Mouret with a white panel running down the side, which cleverly created an elegant, and curved silhouette for the actress.

Sandra left her brunette locks in beachy waves and finished the look with natural make-up and neutral sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Sandra Bullock in Prabal Gurung - 'The Heat' Boston Premiere

Sandra Bullock continues to astound us on her promotional tour for the movie 'The Heat'.

For the premiere in Boston, Sandra wore a fresh violet coloured Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 dress with a silk top and skirt and a sheer gauzy hemline.

As it often is, her hair remained sleek and straight and she completed the look with black and white heels from the same collection.

Sandra Bullock in Michael Kors & ASOS - 'The Heat' Berlin Premiere

Sandra Bullock killed it in all black for the premiere of her movie 'The Heat', held in Berlin.

She looked super sleek in a blouse by Michael Kors, which she paired with a fitted leather pencil skirt by ASOS.  I don't know how she does it but this woman looks terrifyingly amazing.

A side parted hairstyle and cool Tabitha Simmons heels finished out her look.

Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab - 2013 Oscars

Sandra Bullock wore the second Elie Saab look of the night at this year's awards (the other  one was worn by Alicia Vikander).

Sandra's Spring 2013 Couture dress was drop dead gorgeous, with all the stunning embellishments running throughout its tiered length and I loved the small train, which added a certain regal feel.

Sandra didn't fuss around with her hair, leaving it in a side-parted straight style to add a modern touch and finished off her look with a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

Sandra Bullock In Marchesa - 2012 Oscars

Sandra Bullock, whose movie 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' was nominated in the 'Best Picture' category, attended the Oscars in a Marchesa gown.

Despite it being Marchesa, it doesn't work because of the very ill-fitting top that looks like it might drop off of her any moment.

A sleek ponytail, pink lips and Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed the look.

It was great to see Sandra Bullock on the red carpet after a long time.

The actress attended the premiere of her upcoming movie, 'Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close' in a suit by Alexander McQueen.

I really have to give it to her for carrying off a shiny suit, especially one with such a boxy silhouette.

Poker straight hair, a dark lip colour, a clutch & patent pumps completed her look.
