Margot Robbie in Elie Saab - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

The striking Margot Robbie made her appearance at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards in California last evening.

The new blonde bombshell donned a sleek black Elie Saab Spring 2014 jumpsuit to the event with full lace sleeves and flared pants. I love the simplicity going on here, it matches the way it was presented on the runway.

Voluminous hair, and fresh faced make-up finished her look, in addition to the McQueen clutch and Louboutins.

2014 Golden Globes - Black (Part II)

Black, as always, was a favourite for many stars at last night's Golden Globe Awards.

Jessica Chastain created a bombshell look in her custom black Givenchy dress.  The pattern on the dress created wonderful curves for the red headed actress, who wore her locks in retro manner and finished the look with a stunning Bulgari necklace.

Morena Baccarin, from 'Homeland' walked the red carpet with her baby bump.

It was a royal red, Alexander McQueen silk gown for her with an embellished empire waist.  It was the perfect colour for Morena, as her glowing tan and dark hair worked beautifully with the shade of red. I loved her geometrical Rauwolf clutch too.

Jennifer Aniston at 'We're the Millers' Premieres

Jennifer Aniston is busy promoting her new comedy 'We're the Millers' across the world.

For the NYC premiere of the movie, Jen wore a deep purple satin Burberry Resort 2014 dress with a long hemline that covered up her legs.  Satin is hardly forgiving but I have to give credit to Jennifer for carrying off the dress.

In London, Jennifer tapped into her uber feminine side by wearing this floral A-line frock by Dior.  She completed the look with navy and gold ankle-strap sandals.

Then in Berlin, it was back to black for her with an Alexander McQueen LBD that had an oversized black belt.  It was all very signature Jen, with the straight hair, and black accessories.

I think we've had the most shocking moment  with that floral dress so I would not be surprised to see her in more variations of black dresses hence on.

Marion Cotillard in Alexander McQueen - 'The Immigrant' Cannes Photocall

Marion Cotillard was back in front of the cameras for another Cannes photocall last Friday.

She attended the photocall for 'The Immigrant' in a fresh white Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress.  I love the texture the floral appliques bring to the shoulders and hemline.

Marion wore her hair up so the dress details could be visible and completed her look with sparkly heels.

Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Jury Members Photocall

Nicole Kidman attended the photocall for jury members in Cannes today.

The Aussie actress wore a beautiful LBD from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2013 collection that featured a sculpted portrait neckline and box pleated sleeves.  

The dress is amazing, but I don't understand the hair situation which featured a knotted side ponytail (which is fine) with a black hair ribbon (don't understand). The ribbon doesn't add anything to the look.

That aside, she looked great and finished out the look with two-tone Jimmy Choo pumps.

Striking beauty, Mila Kunis took to Leicester Square in London for the premiere of her movie 'Oz the Great and Powerful'.

She wore a tiered, strapless Alexander McQueen Spring 2013 gown.  Normally I would have disliked the dusky colours and multiple tiers but they totally work for Mila.

Her hair was worn in a sleek, straight style and as usual, kohl rimmed eyes completed her look, along with a light pink lip colour.

Chrissy Teigen in Alexander McQueen - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Chrissy Teigen joined her fiance, John Legend at the Vanity Fair Oscars bash.

Chrissy wore a beautiful dress from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 collection, which we have previously seen on Naomi Watts.

The dress, featuring a gold sequined bodice was worn well by Chrissy, with an updo, and unexpected red lips.

Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen - 2013 Oscars

Amanda Seyfried attended the Oscars on Sunday night; her movie 'Les Miserables' was nominated in several categories.

After quite a good promotional tour for the movie, I was expecting to see her finish it off with a bang. Unfortunately, her bespoke Alexander McQueen dress failed to generate anything like that.

Not that the high-neck, halter pale lavender gown with embroidery was bad as a dress - it just didn't feel dramatic enough for this event.  I also wasn't crazy about her hairstyle, but it managed to show the neckline.

The word drama was personified by Salma Hayek at the 2013 Oscars.

True, being the wife of the CEO of the company that owns Alexander McQueen means something but she wears it so, incredibly well.

The high-neck, dark blue velvet gown was custom made for Salma and she worked the heck out of it.  She truly upped the ante with her high bun, surrounded by gold leaf pieces.

This has to be one of my favourite Salma appearances, ever.

The ageless wonder that is Salma Hayek, looked gorgeous in white at the Indies.

Salma wore a simple cream coloured frock from the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 collection the Indies.  Not one to take a lot of risks with her style, Salma chose this somewhat conservative dress with a nipped in waist and flared skirt.

A blow-out and pink lips, as well as a McQueen clutch and  skull topped heels finished off her look.

Rooney Mara attended the premiere of her latest movie 'Side Effects' at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City on Thursday.

She wore a pure white Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress.  I am in love with this dramatic collection and this dress exuded an almost royal feel with the ornate white embroidery and a frill tiered hem.

Rooney opted for a fresh-face, as usual, finishing off her look with a centre-parted slick low bun, pink lips and nude peep-toes.

The lovely Jessica Chastain went back to her red carpet go-to, Alexander McQueen, for Sunday evening's Screen Actors Guild Awards.  Even though she missed out on the Best Actress award, Jessica scored major points for her red carpet look.

It was a fiery red, satin gown for Jessica with a sweetheart neckline and column skirt, custom-made by Sarah Burton.  After her so-so Golden Globes look, Jessica redeemed herself on SAG Awards night.

A sleek hairstyle and gorgeous jewelry by Harry Winston completed her look.

Emily Blunt in Alexander McQueen - 2013 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards

Emily Blunt is on a roll.

The British actress attended the London Critics' Circle Film Awards in London on Saturday wearing a black dress by Alexander McQueen.

The scoop-neck dress fit her perfectly and I loved the addition of the frilly peplum and the edgy wide belt to counteract the frills.

Emily's hair was worn up in a sleek small bun and continuing her minimalist aesthetic, she completed the look with warm, simple make-up which included a light apricot lip colour.

2013 Golden Globes - Black (Part I)

Black reigned supreme on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

Kate Hudson was splendid in a black Alexander McQueen gown with full sleeves and a gaping keyhole neckline.  What really made the gown look spectacular was the starburst like gold embellishment around the neck and the detail at the waist.

And of course, the look was completed with her bright, cheery red carpet laugh.

Naomi Watts in Alexander McQueen - 2013 People's Choice Awards

Naomi Watts stunned at the 2013 PCAs.

'The Impossible' actress wore a gorgeous Resort 2013 dress by Alexander McQueen that had a dazzling gold bodice and a long black skirt.

At first glance I felt that this dress was too much for the PCAs, where the fashion tends to be on the 'fun' side.  But the more I looked at it, it grew on me.  Nothing to apologise for when the dress is so beautiful.

Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen & Raoul - Diamond Jubilee Tour of Singapore

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress by Alexander McQueen and Raoul as she continued to tour the South East last week.

The white broderie anglaise McQueen dress felt too safe and I wasn't loving the pairing of those wedged heels with that dress.

The printed Raoul dress, however, was a better look as it looked more relaxed.

She wore a striking Alexander McQueen dress with a flirty hem.  The dress fits Jessica fabulously and she made a bold move (for her) by wearing those printed Louboutin sandals.  But her hair just ruined this look for me.  That wet look is super unflattering.

Kate Hudson premiered  'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' in Toronto during the weekend.

She was the centre of attraction in a structured white gown by Alexander McQueen that had a crystal embellished part on the bodice.

Kate went for head to toe white with the Alexander McQueen clutch and pumps.  I'm not an advocate of matching shoes with the dress but it works fine on her.

Freida Pinto attended a celebratory dinner thrown by Jaeger-LeCoultre, during the Venice Film Festival in Italy last night.

The Indian actress wore a black dress with a gold pattern from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 collection.  The dress featured a halter neckline and a cut out at the midriff.

This dress is part of a collection from Alexander McQueen which has seemingly taken a departure from the frills and romantic looks of past collections. 

Freida let the dress do the talking, sweeping her locks into a side-parted bun and adding colour via her pink lips.
