2014 Golden Globes - Neutrals (Part II)

Jennifer Lawrence picked up her Best Supporting Actress trophy for 'American Hustle' in a Christian Dior Fall 2013 gown.  The strapless white dress with two black waistbands had a familiar silhouette but Jennifer updated the look with her pixie hairstyle, those emerald earrings by Neil Lane and the burgundy lip colour.

Naomi Watts in Versace - 'Diana' London Premiere

Naomi Watts attended the UK and worldwide premiere of her new, and sort of controversial movie, 'Diana'.

She was a stand-out, in a white hot Versace gown with cut outs.  It was glamorous and almost powerful in a way thanks to the colour and the figure-hugging fit.

An updo and gorgeous diamond statement earrings completed her look.  The only thing bugging me here are those stark black pumps - a daintier, sleeker design would have looked nicer against the dress.

At the 2013 Up2Us Gala

The Up2Us Gala took place in New York City at the Tribeca rooftop two nights ago.

Victoria's Secret angel Erin Heatherton wore a fitted floral dress with sweet pink accessories.

Sienna Miller wore a white eyelet summer dress by Burberry, with a braided updo and nude flats.

Naomi Watts was my favourite, clad in a Burberry Spring 2013 ensemble of a studded black top and tan skirt, worn with black Proenza Schouler pumps.

Naomi Watts, Karolina Kurkova & Rooney Mara - 'For the Love of Cinema' Event in Cannes

Naomi Watts, Karolina Kurkova and Rooney Mara made stunning appearances at the 'For the Love of Cinema' event last night, hosted by the Swiss luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen.

Naomi wore a strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress with a wonderful, sweet floral print on a black satin background.  I loved the the length of this dress and how it was styled.

Karolina Kurkova went for a head to toe Balmain look.  Her Pre-Fall 2013 dress was very similar to the dresses from the Fall collection.  She worked it as always.

Rooney Mara also attended, in a strange Vera Wang Fall 2013 dress which looked like a modern cocoon.  As always, a bun, and black sandals finished her look.

Naomi Watts in Emilio Pucci - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

The always graceful Naomi Watts changed her Armani dress when she attended the Oscar after party.

She wore a glittering, black and gold dress by Emilio Pucci, with only one long sleeve.  There seemed to be a theme with Naomi that night, both her dresses had a hard edge to them, quite a change from the soft, feminine looks we have come to expect from the actress.

Naomi Watts in Armani Privé - 2013 Oscars

For this year's Academy Awards, Naomi Watts shunned her usual favourites like Marchesa and Stella McCartney, for a custom Armani Privé gown.

She said she'd been working for over two months with Giorgio Armani, over this beautiful gun-metal gown with a one-shoulder.  Since the dress was full of sequins, Naomi wisely opted for a low-key hairstyle, and completed her look with beautiful earrings, a cuff and pink lips.

Naomi Watts looked graceful like always at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

'The Impossible' actress looked radiant in a strapless silver lace dress by one of her favourites: Marchesa.

She looked flawless, with the side-parted waves and pink lips.

Nicole Kidman & Naomi Watts - 2013 Producers' Guild Awards

Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts attended the 2013 PGAs.

The fellow Aussies wore black dresses for the evening, with Nicole opting for a black L'Wren Scott Resort 2013 column dress that had a lace neckline an sleeves.

Meanwhile, Naomi wore a cocktail dress from the Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 collection with Rupert Sanderson pumps.

2013 Golden Globes - Maroon

Deep red was a constant on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globe Awards.  Whether it was on a dress or on lips, this colour was seemingly everywhere.

Miranda Kerr attended the Globes with her handsome husband Orlando Bloom.  While the two didn't pose on the red carpet, they did attend the ceremony and later posed at the InStyle post Golden Globes party.

Miranda was a siren in a plunging Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress with a gathering of fabric near the hip and a leg split.  The rich, wine colour was divine as was her hair and dark make-up.  She wore statement earrings by H. Stern and carried a clutch and wore shoes, all by Ferragamo.

Naomi Watts in Emilio Pucci - 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Naomi Watts attended the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

It was an Emilio Pucci Resort 2013 gown for her, with a sheer insert in the neckline.

The look was clean and sleek, completed with side-swept hair and colourful earrings.

Naomi Watts in Alexander McQueen - 2013 People's Choice Awards

Naomi Watts stunned at the 2013 PCAs.

'The Impossible' actress wore a gorgeous Resort 2013 dress by Alexander McQueen that had a dazzling gold bodice and a long black skirt.

At first glance I felt that this dress was too much for the PCAs, where the fashion tends to be on the 'fun' side.  But the more I looked at it, it grew on me.  Nothing to apologise for when the dress is so beautiful.

Naomi Watts in Elie Saab - 'The Impossible' Premiere at 2012 TIFF

Naomi Watts walked the red carpet in Toronto for the premiere of her movie  'The Impossible' in which she stars with Ewan McGregor.

The Aussie actress wore a lilac gown with a plunging neckline and belt from the Elie Saab Resort 2013 collection for the event.

I love how the colour exudes the essence of summer and is a new shade on Naomi.  It fit her beautifully too.

Naomi finished off her look with a low ponytail.

Naomi Watts in Marchesa - 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' Premiere at 2012 Venice Film Festival

Naomi Watts joined her man, Liev Schrieber at the premiere of his movie  'The Reluctant Fundamentalist', held during the first day of the Venice Film Festival.

She was mesmerising, in a beautiful Marchesa Resort 2013 dress as she posed by the side of her partner on the red carpet.

The dress has all the makings of a typical Marchesa dress, with the nude overlay lace, beading and a delicate aura.  Naomi has a good record with the label as she wore a Marchesa dress during the Cannes Film Festival too.

Her look was completed with a low bun, red lips, gold jewelery and a gold box clutch.

Naomi Watts in Marchesa - Elton John's White Tie & Tiara Ball

Naomi Watts has struck quite the good rapport with Marchesa.  She attended Elton John's annual ball in London on Thursday.

This soft, mint coloured creation with a a metallic bodice and frothy tulle skirt was magical on her.  You may remember Naomi's Cannes moment (where she wore a Marchesa dress) which was a resounding success.

It was styled with an updo, a diamond necklace and a silver satin clutch.

Naomi Watts in Versace - 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Naomi Watts was some what of a surprise at the UK Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

I was expecting to see something by Stella McCartney on her but she wore this structured and embellished Versace Fall 2012 dress.  The backless dress was new for Naomi as it was more edgy.

A soft, side ponytail and fresh make-up completed her look.

Vanity Fair Gucci Cannes Party

Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Connelly and Berenice Bejo glammed up for the Vanity Fair Gucci party on Saturday night during the Cannes Film Festival.

Naomi Watts went all out in a shimmery silver Gucci dress with a feather hem.  The drop waist dress had a vintage flapper vibe and Naomi played it up with her hair and accessories.

Salma Hayek worked that dark look once more, in a strapless midnight blue Gucci sequined dress with an embellished bodice and waist.  Her make-up was too harsh though, and looked amateurish.

Jennifer Connelly was laid-back in a pailette covered Gucci dress with short-sleeves.  Straight hair and peep-toes completed her look.

Berenice Bejo, who attended with her director husband Michel Hazanavicius wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress with a high neck, sheer sleeves and an embellished waist.  This polished look was required on the red carpet, not this.

Naomi Watts in Marchesa - Cannes Film Festival Day 3

Naomi Watts looked like she just walked out of a fairytale at the premiere of 'Madagascar 3' on the third day of Cannes.

She wore a gorgeous, blush Marchesa Fall 2012 gown with a floral applique bodice and a tulle skirt.  Naomi really belied her age in this gown and there was not a thing about her look that I did not love.

A bun with marcel waves, and stunning diamond and silver jewels added extra shine to her look.

Calvin Klein 'Women in Film' Cannes Party

Diane Kruger, Naomi Watts, Jessica Chastain and Shailene Woodley attended the 'Women in Film' bash, thrown by Calvin Klein on the second night of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

Diane wore a very cleavage bearing Calvin Klein Fall 2012 dress with white, ankle-strap Givenchy sandals (which I love). As always, she opted for natural make-up. And don't worry, Diane isn't that tiny.

Naomi Watts was clad in a nude Calvin Klein slip dress.  Normally I'm against nude dresses as they look boring and have been over-done but Naomi looked stellar in this dress.

Jessica Chastain wore a sweet pink dress with full sleeves and a swing skirt.  The colour is gorgeous and she's finally carrying a clutch but the hairstyle is simply too severe and does great disservice to her face.

Shailene Woodley was cute in an apricot hued Calvin Klein dress, worn with nude sandals.

Naomi Watts in Chanel - Chanel Artists Dinner at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival

Naomi Watts brought her lovely self to the 7th annual Artists Dinner at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC last night.

As Chanel was a sponsor of the event, it made sense to see Naomi wearing clothes by the label.  

She went for an all-black look which consisted of a textured pencil skirt from the Chanel Spring 2012 collection which was worn with a leather top and a jacket.

I like all of her look, ankles up - those boots really are an eye-sore with the rest of her ensemble.

Naomi Watts in Stella McCartney - 2012 Tribeca Ball

Naomi Watts was at the 2012 Tribeca Ball at the New York Academy of Art in NYC on Monday night.

It was a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012  dress for her which she wore very well.  The sleek black dress with a peplum waist was worn by her with equally sleek accessories.

A gold choker, black sandals and a Stella McCartney python-print clutch completed her look.
