2014 Golden Globes - Neutrals (Part II)

Jennifer Lawrence picked up her Best Supporting Actress trophy for 'American Hustle' in a Christian Dior Fall 2013 gown.  The strapless white dress with two black waistbands had a familiar silhouette but Jennifer updated the look with her pixie hairstyle, those emerald earrings by Neil Lane and the burgundy lip colour.

Cara Delevingne wore Burberry of course.  Her custom-made black dress had full sleeves and a gold studded bodice.  The partially braided hair was a major trend.

Karlie Kloss wore a loose-fitting Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 dress with beautiful embellishments.  The red lips and hair are costume-ish but it is the place to look like that.

2013 Golden Globes - Black (Part II)

Black reigned supreme at the Golden Globes this year.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was statuesque in a Saint Laurent Spring 2013 gown.  The model-turned-actress flaunted her long legs in the black halter neck gown with a leg split.

Rosie went the minimal way with her and added a touch of colour with her lips.

Jennifer Aniston in Christian Dior - 2013 People's Choice Awards

Jennifer Aniston skipped the red carpet at the 2013 People's Choice Awards.

The blonde and tanned actress, who picked up the award for Favourite Comedic Movie Actress donned another signature black dress.

Her fit and flare Christian Dior dress didn't quite work, however.  The skirt made her appear wider and the fabric just isn't all that flattering.

As usual, straight, glossy tresses and neutral make-up did their part and she finished off her look with Tom Ford sandals.

Gwyneth Paltrow - 'Thanks for Sharing' Premiere at 2012 TIFF

Gwnyeth Paltrow attended the 'Thanks for Sharing' premiere in Toronto.

She wore a backless Tom Ford LBD with Giuseppe Zanotti coral and animal-print heels.

It really wasn't a look to gush over but she looked good.

Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto - 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

Emma Watson brightened up the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.  The actress, who we will next see in 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' attended the event with her co-star Ezra Miller.

Emma went for colour in this Peter Pilotto Resort 2013 dress which had a colour blocked bodice and a fun, printed short skirt.

She looked graceful as always and wore her hair in a braided style.  Tom Ford sandals provided the finishing touch.

Kate Bosworth in Equipment & Topshop - Street Style

Kate Bosworth was spotted around Bristol Farms in West Hollywood last week with beau Michael Polish.

She looked absolutely fantastic in a sleeveless white shirt by Equipment, worn with printed shorts from Topshop. 

Kate accessorised with Raybans, the Tom Ford 'Natalia' satchel and simple sandals, also by Topshop.

Jennifer Lopez in Tom Ford - Street Style

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday last week by dining out with her boyfriend Casper Smart.

She looked lovely in a red Tom Ford Fall 2012 dress - this full sleeved dress with a zip lined open back was worn by Jennifer Lawrence at the Parisian premiere of 'The Hunger Games'.

I think Jennifer wears it incredibly well and I love how she went bold by matching her Louboutins with the dress.

Eva Green in Tom Ford - 'Dark Shadows' London Premiere

Looks like Eva Green is quite struck with Tom Ford's Fall 2011 collection as she wore another dress from it to the London premiere of 'Dark Shadows'.

I was expecting her to wear something by Temperley London or Alexander McQueen but she chose to wear this velvet navy blue gown with short sleeves and a column silhouette.

The colour was divine on her, and she really vamped the look up with side-swept black hair and bright red lips.  Gold cuffs on both wrists completed the look.

Eva Green in Tom Ford - 'Dark Shadows' LA Premiere

Eva Green attended the premiere of 'Dark Shadows' in LA on Monday night.

For the premiere, she wore a Tom Ford Fall 2011 gown.  This smokey grey gown with broken mirrors and embroidery has been worn by quite a few ladies on the red carpet so it simply didn't have much of an impact.

However, Eva did look great wearing it, and completed the look with a strong updo and smokey eyes.

Gisele Bundchen is always one to watch at the Met Ball.  This year she wore a slinky black Givenchy dress with embellishments.  A slicked back bun and fresh-make up were all she needed.

Doutzen Kroes always brings her A-game to the Met Ball.  She has done the princess-style ballgown thing a number of times.  This year she wore a great black and white Roland Mouret dress with wavy hair and red lips.

Rihanna in Tom Ford - 2012 Met Ball

Rihanna continues her 'minimalist' streak.

She attended the Met Gala wearing a reptilian-textured Tom Ford Fall 2012 column gown that also featured a low back,  high neck and full sleeves.

I thought she looked stunning in this simple dress, which was worn with a relatively simple hairstyle (by Rihanna standards) and neutral make-up.

Jennifer Lawrence In Tom Ford - 'The Hunger Games' Paris Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence went the LBD route for the Parisian premiere of 'The Hunger Games'.

She wore a Tom Ford dress for the evening which had a covered up front and an open back which had a gold zipper going all the way around it.

I like that she changed her hair up and the red lipstick was a welcome addition; she's wearing gold Tom Ford sandals.

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford - 'Game Change' Washington D.C. Premiere

Julianne Moore did the whole green dress - red hair thing at the D.C. premiere of 'Game Change'.  She wore a Tom Ford dress.

Unfortunately the combination did not work in her favour - that shade of green is slightly nauseating to look at and those velvet sleeves are for lack of better word, hideous.

The hair do, smoky eyes, gold sandals - nothing works.  I like that Leiber clutch though.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Tom Ford - 2012 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow was a total fashion knock-out at this year's Academy Awards in her Tom Ford Fall 2012 gown.

The fact that Gwyneth wore a cape with that white column gown with a geometric shoulder makes this look pretty much iconic in my eyes because it's not easy to pull off a cape on the red carpet.

A loose, low ponytail and natural make-up allowed the dress to be the focus of attention.

Jennifer Aniston In Tom Ford - 'Wanderlust' LA Premiere

Jennifer Aniston wore a Tom Ford Spring 2012 dress for the LA premiere of her movie, 'Wanderlust'.

The black white, strapless dress with exaggerated hips is fabulous on her, and something different than her usual LBD routine.

 She completed her look with signature, shiny locks, gold jewelery, a clutch and pointy black pumps.

Anne Hathaway attended an event in LA wearing this black, halter-neck black column dress which is doing no favours for her!  The styling is so-so too.

Elle MacPherson wore a Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress for the National Television Awards in London.  Between the severe, braided ponytail, statement earrings and the embellished dress, this is just a mess.

Emmy Rossum did a television show appearance in a gorgeous, fuschia coloured DKNY Pre-Fall 2012 frock with a tied top and pleated skirt that she wore with nude pumps.  I would have preferred to see the top fully tucked in though.

For another television appearance, she opted for a printed Peter Pilotto sheath which she wore with a ponytail, lots of eyeliner, a black bangle and black pumps.  Another winning ensemble.

Jessica Chastain attended the Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture show in Paris wearing a dress by the brand.  Love this black dress with a beaded orange collar, it's quite unexpected on Jessica.  

Claire Danes, who was chosen as Harvard's Hast Pudding Woman of the Year wore a printed Oscar de la Renta frock for the ceremony.  This look was just screaming for a pop of colour right?

Olivia Palermo attended the Christian Dior Spring 2012 couture show in a cream coloured tunic & leather leggings which she accessorised with a statement necklace, a feather cuff, a bright clutch and black booties. 

Zoe Saldana promoted her new movie at the Sundance Film Festival in this cute jean-top-blazer combo that she spruced up with forest green Brian Atwood shoes.

Rihanna & Sofia Vergara - New Year's Style

Rihanna went demure at a New Year's Eve party in a lace Tom Ford dress.  

The full sleeves and modest hemline were balanced by a key-hole neckline.  An updo, red lips & pointy black heels completed the look.

Sofia Vergara wore a hot white Blumarine dress at a party, with nude peeptoes & a straight, centre-parted hairstyle.

Charlize Theron wore an Antonio Berardi dress to a TV show appearance in NYC, promoting her new movie, 'Young Adult'.

The sleeveless, two-tone sheath with a plunge-neck was absolutely gorgeous on the actress;  she wore it with wavy locks and drop earrings.

Oh, and I'm pretty much drooling over those Tom Ford heels.

Angelina Jolie premiered her directorial debut, 'In The Land of Blood & Honey' in NYC last night.

She wore a silk top by Joseph and paired it with a Ralph Lauren pleated skirt; she added a statement necklace for some interest.

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of seeing Angelina in baggy/boring silhouettes in muted shades of black, brown and white.

Brad Pitt is wearing a suit by Tom Ford.
