Cate Blanchett in Givenchy - 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Queen Cate graced the red carpet at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The 'Blue Jasmine' actress, who sweeped the Best Actress award wore a custom-made Givenchy dress in an unexpectedly sweet powder pink.

The unusual details of the dress included the halter neckline and the raspberry sequins that adorn the front.  The hair style and make-up mirrored the dress perfectly, with a wispy low bun and baby pink lip colour.  Matching Chopard jewelry finished her perfectly feminine look.

2014 Golden Globes - Black (Part II)

Black, as always, was a favourite for many stars at last night's Golden Globe Awards.

Jessica Chastain created a bombshell look in her custom black Givenchy dress.  The pattern on the dress created wonderful curves for the red headed actress, who wore her locks in retro manner and finished the look with a stunning Bulgari necklace.

January Jones in Givenchy - 2013 Emmy Awards

January Jones attended the Emmy Awards as her hit show 'Mad Men' was nominated, as usual.

She chose a blush rose Givenchy gown with a straight cut bodice and a skirt with an interesting texture.  I'm not always a fan of January on the red carpet, mostly as she comes across as though she's trying too hard.

However, I have no complaints on this occasion - the colour looks good on her, and her make-up was flawless.

Amanda Seyfried in Tibi & Balmain - 'Lovelace' Promotional Tour

Amanda Seyfried is doing promotional appearances for her latest venture, titled 'Lovelace'.

For a press conference in NY, Amanda wore a simple grey knit dress by Tibi with a flared skirt, styling it simply with her glossy mane of hair and ankle-strap black sandals by Givenchy.

Then for the 'David Letterman' appearance, Amanda wore an 80s inspired Balmain top and skirt with a baby pink and white houndstooth pattern.  It was worn with white pumps, which for me just ruined this look.

Diane Kruger in Jonathan Saunders - 'The Bridge' Premiere

Diane Kruger attended the premiere of her TV show 'The Bridge', last night at the DGA Theatre in Los Angeles.

She wore a refreshingly green Jonathan Saunders Resort 2013 dress - the different shades of green, and the sheer, light fabric are gorgeous.  

Beauty wise, she was bang on trend with the bold eyebrows, natural make-up and white nail polish.  Accessories included a peach Charlotte Olympia clutch and white Givenchy sandals.

The annual Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards took place in NYC on Monday night.

Adriana Lima wore a gorgeous Givenchy Fall 2013 gown with a shimmering bodice, full sleeves and a sheer tulle long skirt, catch Joan Smalls in a similar dress here.

Candice Swanepoel wore a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 dress; the white frock featured sequins and a one-shoulder. Candice finished off with a natural looking face, clutch and chunky heels.

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a slinky white Kaufman Franco dress that was entirely backless; sleek straight hair, smoky eyes and glossy nude lips completed her look.

Jessica Chastain in Givenchy - 2013 CFDA Awards

Jessica Chastain jetted back to the States in order to attend the annual CFDA Awards in NYC.

The beautiful actress wore a strapless black Givenchy dress, custom-made for her by the label's Ricardo Tisci.

I loved this clean, minimalist look - Jessica wore it simply with a sleek bun hairstyle, pink lips and an eye catching Irene Neuwirth bracelet.

The amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala took place in France, as part of the ongoing 2013 Cannes Film Festival last Thursday.

Joan Smalls was my favourite in a Givenchy Fall 2013 gown that featured a digital print top and a sheer, white tulle skirt with floral design.  I loved these gowns which were featured towards the finale of the runway show.

Karlie Kloss wore a pant suit by Louis Vuitton.  I get that she tries to be different at these events but would it kill her to wear a nice dress from time to time?

Karolina Kurkova wore a sleek Roberto Cavalli dress with cut outs at the waist that gave Karolina an hourglass figure; a slicked back bun and diamond earrings finished the look.

Jessica Chastain in Givenchy - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 8 & 'All is Lost' Premiere

Cannes Film Festival day 8 saw Jessica Chastain stun on the red carpet, at the premiere of 'All is Lost'.

She wore a sleeveless, scoop-neck purple Givenchy dress with beautiful, ornate embellishments. 

I like how the heaviness of the dress was balanced with the simplicity of her fresh make-up and messy, casual ponytail.  She went without jewelry and wore sandals by Givenchy.

Beyonce in Givenchy - 2013 Met Ball

Beyonce, for me, knocked it out of the ballpark at the 2013 Met Ball.

Her Givenchy dress with the glittering bodice and black and orange/yellow print skirt (with the matching boots) were overwhelming for sure.  But Beyonce worked it, as she only knows how.

Rooney Mara in Givenchy - 2013 Met Ball

This year's co-chair of the Met Ball, Rooney Mara wore a dress from Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci (who was also on the board).

She looked beautiful in the white, lace gown with zippers and a low-cut neckline.  I love how delicate the fabric is and how tough her make-up is, with the hairstyle and dark lip colour.

Givenchy and Rooney are the equivalent of Marion of Dior.

Amanda Seyfried, the new face of Givenchy 'Very Irresistable' perfume, walked the red carpet at the 2013 Met Ball wearing Givenchy couture.

Her Spring 2007 couture gown featured full sleeves, a bold print and a train.  Amanda's make-up was simply beautiful, with the cat-eyes and nude lips.

Florence Welch in Givenchy - 2013 Met Ball

Florence Welch did her version of punk couture in Givenchy at the 2013 Met Ball.

The singer looked good in the Fall 2012 Couture collection piece with fringe detail.  We cannot expect something more edgier from Florence so this will have to suffice.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

After her sweet, pale grey Alexis Mabille gown, Zoe Saldana switched to a Givenchy dress for the VF Oscars party in LA.

The halter-neck black dress featured a mix of current trends including sheer black fabric, peplum waist, ruffles, and florals.  The top I really liked on the dress, but the long silk skirt would have looked less fussy without the addition of tiered part near the hem.

Zoe wore her hair up, and completed the look with red lips and edgy rings.

Claire Danes in Givenchy - 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Claire Danes deserves the award for being most surprising on the red carpet.

For last night's SAGs, the 'Homeland' actress (who won again) wore an uncharacteristically moody Givenchy Pre-Fall 2013 gown.  The baggy long sleeved one-shoulder was dramatic but Claire went all out with her hair and make-up too.

The loose ponytail and dark lip colour looked fabulous on Claire.  I loved her look head-to-toe, one of my absolute favourites of the night.

Miranda Kerr in New York City

Miranda Kerr is currently in New York City.  Miranda not only happens to be my favourite supermodel (and VS angel) but she's also a great role model for girls, as she promotes well-being and the importance of inner beauty and loving yourself.

And she has superb and flawless style.

Her first street appearance saw her wear a body-con Alexander Wang dress with thigh-high Hermes boots.  She topped it all with a black Givenchy coat and tote.  

Miranda also walked the runway at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. At the after party, she opted for a slightly more conservative LBD from the Balmain Spring 2013 collection.  She accessorised with the Jimmy Choo 'Calista' clutch and open-toe mesh 'Callie' booties.

Once more seen on the pavements of the city, Miranda wore an Isabel Marant sweater with Maison Martin Margiela leather shorts with sheer tights and my favourite Isabel Marant Fall 2012 boots.  A grey wool coat by Isabel Marant and her Givenchy bag completed the look.

Miranda attended a book launch wearing a sheer black blouse with a gold and orange silk brocade mini skirt from the Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 collection.  It was worn with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Christian Louboutin 'Big Dorcet' heels.

She attended a meeting at Vogue, looking polished in a white Victoria Beckham sheath dress with a wide v-neck and three-quarter sleeves.  A belt cinched in her waist and accessories included her Prada bag and blush Lanvin pumps.

At the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, Miranda went with a demure style by choosing separates from the Giulietta Spring 2013 collection.  Her look was completed with straight, shiny hair and chunky heels, as well as a Prada bag.

Cate Blanchett in Givenchy - Gotham Magazine Celebration

Cate Blanchett attended the Gotham Magazine Celebration for 'Uncle Vanya' in New York City on Wednesday.

She looked great in another Givenchy Resort 2013 dress.  I love this ensemble, especially the blouse-y top and fitted, printed skirt.  The colours are new on Cate too.

She wore it with her favourite Roger Vivier sandals.

Cate Blanchett posed with her husband for the photocall of her new show 'Uncle Vanya'.

The Aussie actress wore a Givenchy Resort 2013 dress for the event, with a printed, cape-like top and a fitted skirt.  

The dress was paired by Cate with heavy Roger Vivier sandals.  I would have preferred to see her in the same sandals which the model has worn.

Michelle Williams in Altuzarra - 'Take This Waltz' NYC Screening

Michelle Williams attended the screening of her new movie 'Take This Waltz' at the Sunshine Cinema in New York City last week.

She was super chic in an LBD from the Altuzarra Resort 2013 collection.  LBDs are back on trend for the summer and this was a perfect example, black but not inappropriate.

It also looks like Michelle is branching out, fashion wise and opting for different designers and silhouettes.  She finished her look with pink lips, side-parted hair, a Judith Leiber clutch and the popular white Givenchy ankle-strap sandals.

Katie Holmes in Givenchy and Holmes & Yang - Artistry on Ice Promotional Event

Katie Holmes was in Beijing, China for the past few days for the promotions of the Artistry on Ice event.

At one event, Katie wore a low-cut black Givenchy dress.  She kept her look fairly simple, just topping the dress with a suede red blazer from her own line Holmes & Yang.

Her hair was pulled back into a chic ponytail, she wore layered gold necklaces and completed the look with black pumps by Manolo Blahnik.
