January Jones in Givenchy - 2013 Emmy Awards

January Jones attended the Emmy Awards as her hit show 'Mad Men' was nominated, as usual.

She chose a blush rose Givenchy gown with a straight cut bodice and a skirt with an interesting texture.  I'm not always a fan of January on the red carpet, mostly as she comes across as though she's trying too hard.

However, I have no complaints on this occasion - the colour looks good on her, and her make-up was flawless.

January Jones in Chanel - 2013 Met Ball

January Jones took to the red carpet in an LBD.

The Chanel dress featured cap-sleeves and a draped, cowl back.  Her make-up was full of drama, as were those Nicholas Kirkwood heels but ultimately, there isn't much to this look.

2013 Chanel Pre-Oscars Dinner

The annual Chanel pre-Oscars dinner took place in Hollywood last night.  In attendance was a bevy of actresses, all wearing Chanel, obviously.

Kate Bosworth looked polished and preened in a pink shift.  Felicity Jones wore a sombre black and white gown with that classic French touch. Rosie Huntington Whitely was my favourite in a striped jumpsuit that showed off her height, and I loved the addition of the beaded necklace and red lips.

January Jones in Prabal Gurung - 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards

January Jones attended the 2013 SAG Awards in a dress by one of my favourite designers: Prabal Gurung.

Her Pre-Fall 2013 dress features a white upper bodice with a high ruffle neck and a black skirt. The simplicity of the colours balances the frivolity of the design.

January wore it with a bold hairstyle and blood orange lips, creating a visual punch.

January Jones in Versace - 2012 Met Ball

January Jones wore a Versace Spring 2012 Couture gown to the Met Ball this year.

It must have been something to do with the cheery hue of this architectural dress because January was smiling and looked happy to be there.

Her short bob was styled into a sleek side-parting and she contrasted the yellow with a gorgeous Cartier statement necklace.  The red lips felt unnecessary but that isn't important.

January Jones in Mary Katrantzou - 'La Revolution Bleue' Screening

January Jones ditched her usual tailored, simple silhouettes for the night of the screening of 'La Revolution Bleue' at the Paris Theatre in NYC.

She wore a Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 dress (modified from a gown) with an off-shoulder neckline, peplum and the signature Katrantzou print.

While I admire January for wearing this dress, I don't she can quite pull it off; I can totally see someone like Thandie Newton wearing this. January wore it with blue eye-shadow, pink lips and simple black pumps.

January Jones in Yves Saint Laurent - The Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of 'Manon'

January Jones is on good fashion form these days.

She stepped out in a fresh-off-the-runway Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2012 gown at the premiere of the the Metropolitan Opera 'Manon'.

January looked almost majestic in this black gown with a draped neck with embellishment on the bodice and a leg split.

Jennifer Lopez is looking amazing on 'American Idol' these days.

It was a skirt & top by Maria Lucia Hohan for her once and then she wore a neon pink Michael Kors Resort 2012 gown on another night.  You might remember the pink gown on Brooklyn Decker at the Met Ball last year (click here).

Alexa Chung wore a Bella Freud sweater with a flower print Celine Resort 2012 skirt at the Annual British Designers Collective in London with Nicholas Kirkwood loafers.

January Jones was busy in NYC, promoting the new season of 'Mad Men'; she stopped by the New York Times in a lacy top, khaki coloured leather skinnies and a blazer.  I like that she pulled her hair back on this occasion.

Looks like Diane Kruger is favouring the pyjama trend. She stepped out in West Hollywood in this pyjama-esque green shirt with white piping that she wore with cropped leather pants & nude pointy pumps - so effortless.

Olivia Palermo attended the Gala Spa Awards in a white Tibi gown with a plunging neckline - she kept her accessories simple to let the dress take centre stage.

Nicole Richie celebrated her cover of a magazine in a neutral Todd Lynn dress which looked good on her but was creased a little too much for my liking.  As usual, House of Harlow accessories and Louboutins completed her look.

Nicole stepped out in Miami for a little R&R in a pyjama-esque House of Harlow ensemble.  I think it's breezy and comfy, so appropriate for vacation wear.

January Jones in Jason Wu - Cast of 'Mad Men' Rings The New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell

January Jones wore a Jason Wu dress as she rang in the NYSE opening bell with the rest of the 'Mad Men' cast today.

I think she looks great in this Pre-Fall 2012 dress which features a black jersey upper bodice and sleeves with a printed bodice and skirt; the belt nips in at the waist, creating a flattering silhouette.

She styled the look with sharp black sandals and a colourful satchel.

January Jones In Roland Mouret - 'Mad Men' Premiere

January Jones was back on the red rug for the promotion of the new season of 'Mad Men' which goes on air towards the end of March.

January chose a form-fitting, black & white top and skirt from the Roland Mouret Spring 2012 collection.

There's no denying that she looks great in the ensemble - I only wish her hair, and accessories weren't so boring though.  

The look looks phenomenal on Karlie... on January, not so much.

January Jones In Jenny Packham - 'Mad Men' - Paleyfest

January Jones wore a Jenny Packham Fall 2012 dress to The Paley Centre for Media's Paleyfest honouring her show 'Mad Men'.

The pale blue colour of the embellished dress is perfect for spring so I wasn't overjoyed to see her wearing black tights AND heels.

Her hair is also streaked light pink which was off-putting with such an ornate dress.

January Jones In Wes Gordon - Vanity Fair Oscar Party

January Jones attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a slightly unique ensemble from the Wes Gordon Fall 2012 collection.

January belted the teal coloured, silk-chiffon top instead of how the model is wearing it - a good idea because the black cummerbund adds edge.

A retro hairstyle, black hoop earrings and a clutch completed her look.

January Jones In Chanel - 2012 Art of Elysium Gala

January Jones made her first formal appearance since having a baby boy in September of last year.  She wore a Chanel Resort 2012 dress.

The black shift with colour patch sleeves and embellishments was lovely on the 'Mad Men' actress.  She's a part of the celebs who've been favouring a longer bob these days (think Olivia Wilde's new hairstyle - click here).

 She looks great but I'm not feeling much love for her Dolce & Gabbana shoes.
