2014 Golden Globes - Black (Part II)

Black, as always, was a favourite for many stars at last night's Golden Globe Awards.

Jessica Chastain created a bombshell look in her custom black Givenchy dress.  The pattern on the dress created wonderful curves for the red headed actress, who wore her locks in retro manner and finished the look with a stunning Bulgari necklace.

Uma Thurman in Atelier Versace - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony & 'Zulu' Premiere

The incredibly beautiful Uma Thurman attended the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival tonight looking gorgeous.

She almost glided down the red carpet in her silver Atelier Versace gown with a sequined bodice and a flowing skirt with a train.

A sleek, side-parted hairstyle and diamond earrings added even more elegance.  This is how Cannes should be done.

Uma Thurman in Zac Posen - 2013 Met Ball

I was spell-bound by Uma Thurman on the red carpet, at the 2013 Met Ball in NYC.

The actress wore a parrot green Zac Posen with an off-shoulder neckline and signature fitted mermaid silhouette.  

Uma's beauty  stole the attention, with the straight, edgy ponytail and vivid red lips - she was simply stunning.  Added touches included the gold, spiky earrings.

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace - 7th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Uma Thurman wore a forest green Atelier Versace dress to the Snowflake Ball held in NYC.

The form-fitting, calf-length dress with a sheer panel looked sensational on Uma.

She wore it with an updo, glamorous make-up and strappy gold heels.

The red & lilac print Resort 2012 dress looked lovely on the actress.

A soft hairdo and make up kept in tune with the dress and she looked radiant!

Fashion Roundup

This week's Fashion Roundup consists of looks from Paris Fashion Week.

Clemence Poesy was spotted at the Chanel Spring 2012 show, wearing a sweet, polka-dot frock from the label and adding black platforms and clutch to the look.  I'm so glad she didn't leave her hair down, as this habit has been a downfall for Clemence. (See this, & this)

Olivia Palermo watched the Giambattista Valli showing, in a feathered shift by the label.  I'm in love with the dress!  She finished the look with whimsical sunnies, a Marchesa clutch and dark pumps.

Jessica Biel was also seen at the Giambattista Valli show, in an extremely chic, all white ensemble.

She looked so high fashion, in her textured jacket, pencil skirt, cool shades, quilted bag and those chain-link heels.

She was also seen at the Valentino show, in a lavender, knee-length dress, with a light coat and gorgeous shoes and clutch.

The Louis Vuitton show saw Uma Thurman wear a cutout dress from the label, worn with a chic updo, red lips and strappy heels.  She looks so fresh-faced and pretty!

Nicole Richie was spotted looking her best in a red, full-sleeve minidress that had button detail on the shoulder.  She kept things simple with a cross-body bag and navy stilettos.

Lea Michele was invited to a party in the city, where she wore a sheer, lace dress by The Row.  It's dramatic but I'm not loving this shapeless dress on Lea - it does nothing for her figure.  I like her make-up and those satin heels though.

 Olivia Wilde was at the Valentino show, in an Oscar de la Renta design.  The printed tea-dress would have worked better had it been knee-length I think, and those heels are overwhelming for the dress.
