The annual Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards took place in NYC on Monday night.

Adriana Lima wore a gorgeous Givenchy Fall 2013 gown with a shimmering bodice, full sleeves and a sheer tulle long skirt, catch Joan Smalls in a similar dress here.

Candice Swanepoel wore a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 dress; the white frock featured sequins and a one-shoulder. Candice finished off with a natural looking face, clutch and chunky heels.

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a slinky white Kaufman Franco dress that was entirely backless; sleek straight hair, smoky eyes and glossy nude lips completed her look.

Ashley Madekwe of one of my favourite shows 'Revenge' attended the Entertainment Weekly Pre-SAG Party in Hollywood last night.

The British actress looked lovely in a teal Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 dress which was worn with a thin black belt and dainty black sandals.

A pink lip colour and clutch provided the finishing touches to her perfect look.
