2013 Couture Council Awards

Hilary Swank, along with Victoria's Secret Angels, Lily Aldridge and Doutzen Kroes, attended the Couture Council of The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology hosted luncheon in NYC on Wednesday.

They were there to honor American icon - Michael Kors.  All wore dresses by him, naturally.

Lily wore a candy pink and beige, full sleeve top and a skirt with a leg slit from the Resort 2014 collection.  I loved the sleek hair, white sandals and minimalism here.

Doutzen kept things very natural and simple in a leopard print chiffon dress that she paired with Celine cuff sandals.  A little effort with the hair and make-up would not have gone amiss here I think.

Hilary Swank was colorful in a turquoise, printed frock that she wore with black strappy sandals.

Doutzen Kroes in Calvin Klein - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 4 & ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ Premiere

Doutzen Kroes sported a completely different look for her second red carpet appearance during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

The Dutch supermodel worked the heck out of her body hugging, custom-made, white Calvin Klein dress with an open, low back, portrait neckline and full sleeves.

I loved the sleek, straight and side-parted hair, as well as the soft, matte red lip colour.  She wore the dress with white platform sandals by Calvin Klein too - I think I would have rather seen a nude sandal on this dress.

Doutzen Kroes in Atelier Versace - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 3 & 'Le Passe' Premiere

Doutzen Kroes wore Versace to the premiere of 'Le Passe' on the third night of the Cannes film festival.

It was a blush pink Atelier Versace Fall 2012 dress and not one from the Versace Spring collection thankfully.

Obviously, Doutzen looked good - voluminous locks and neutral make-up were all she needed.

Doutzen Kroes in Theyskens' Theory - 2013 Met Ball

Dutch super, Doutzen Kroes went all in for the tough chick look in her custom Theyskens' Theory gown.

The gown with a leather bodice and sheer skirt was worn by Doutzen with the right attitude, just look at that confident stance!

A slick bun, lots of eyeliner and fresh make-up completed her look.

Models at the 2012 CFDA Awards

Karolina Kurkova looked great in a printed Tommy Hilfiger dress, which the leggy lady wore with straight hair, orange lips and matching black and yellow sandals.

Arizone Muse was chic in a silver, sequined Diane von Furstenberg mini which she wore with black accessories, including an embellished clutch and black boots.  The entire look was made for Arizona.

Doutzen Kroes & Milla Jovovich in Versace - 2012 amfAR Gala

Doutzen Kroes & Milla Jovovich attended the amfAR Gala in Cannes.

Doutzen wore a strapless, white Versace Fall 2012 dress with silver lining.  She was stunning and kept her look simple, opting for a messy bun and dewy, natural make-up.

Milla was in an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 gown.  She looked fabulous in the sculpted metallic dress.

Models at the 2012 Met Ball

Gisele Bundchen is always one to watch at the Met Ball.  This year she wore a slinky black Givenchy dress with embellishments.  A slicked back bun and fresh-make up were all she needed.

Doutzen Kroes always brings her A-game to the Met Ball.  She has done the princess-style ballgown thing a number of times.  This year she wore a great black and white Roland Mouret dress with wavy hair and red lips.
