Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2014 CFDA Awards

Marion Cotillard represented Christian Dior, of course, at the 2014 CFDA Awards.

She picked an airy number from the label's Spring 2014 Couture collection in fresh white. I know I didn't cover Cannes this year, but Marion didn't have a lot of luck there in dresses from Dior, so this was a slight improvement.

Also, I know Marion loves the bare faced, fresh faced look in terms of make-up but a bright lip colour wouldn't have gone amiss here.  Some colour was added via her lemon yellow Dior pumps however.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 10 & 'The Immigrant' Premiere

White seems to be an emerging red carpet trend this year at Cannes.

Marion Cotillard wore the colour on Friday evening for the premiere of her movie 'The Immigrant'; her lovely Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 dress featured a dramatic back drop and full sleeves.

A sleek, tucked behind the ears hairstyle and Chopard jewels, as well as metallic pumps completed her look.

Marion Cotillard in Alexander McQueen - 'The Immigrant' Cannes Photocall

Marion Cotillard was back in front of the cameras for another Cannes photocall last Friday.

She attended the photocall for 'The Immigrant' in a fresh white Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 dress.  I love the texture the floral appliques bring to the shoulders and hemline.

Marion wore her hair up so the dress details could be visible and completed her look with sparkly heels.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 6 & 'Blood Ties' Premiere

It was back to Dior for Marion Cotillard, as she strolled down the red carpet for the premiere of 'Blood Ties', directed by her partner, Guillaume Canet.

She looked amazingly glamorous in a bright, tri-colour Christian Dior Resort 2014 dress with a high-low hemline.  She totally transformed the laid back feel of this dress by wearing her hair in a beehive updo.

Lots of eyeliner, diamond earrings and white platformed black ankle-strap heels finished off her look. I love how fresh, modern and 'today' the entire look is in comparison to the heavily embellished 'traditional' dresses we usually see on the red carpet at Cannes.

Marion Cotillard in Antonio Berardi - 'Blood Ties' Cannes Photocall

Marion Cotillard attended the photocall of her new movie 'Blood Ties' in Cannes today.

She wore another non-Dior dress. This time, it was an Antonio Berardi Fall 2013 shift dress in a beautiful, fresh blue shade.  It may seem very plain in the front but it's all party in the back with an embellished panel.

Marion left the look alone, just wearing nude pumps and a bright orange watch.

Marion Cotillard in Vivienne Westwood - Chopard Lunch at Cannes

Marion Cotillard stepped out in something not made by Dior. 

Aside from that, here she is at the 2013 Chopard lunch during the Cannes film festival.  The actress wore a strapless, striped white and melon Vivienne Westwood dress with an asymmetric hemline.

While I am glad she wore something different, the dress feels too risque for a luncheon thrown by a diamonds brand.  She should have saved this change for some other time and worn Dior.

An updo and as always, fresh make-up finished her look.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2013 BAFTAs

Marion Cotillard brightened the dreary evening in London at the 2013 BAFTAs.

She wore one of my favourite dresses from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection.  That colour is just brilliant.  And Marion made the most of it by adding a retro hairstyle and red lips to the look.

One day I might be bored of the Dior-Cotillard combination, but that day isn't today.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Marion Cotillard donned her second Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 look at the 2013 SAG Awards.

The 'Rust & Bone' actress looked spectacularly charming in the two-tone dress featuring a snow-white bust and a teal blue duchess satin asymmetrical skirt.  The dress is just classically French and Marion carried it off brilliantly.

A new, asymmetrical bob, bold eyes, pink lips, Chopard jewels and black Dior pumps finished off her look.  People at Dior, never let Marion go, she's the best ambassador the label has currently.

2013 Golden Globes - Red/Pink

Apart from black, red was the boldest shade of the night, and there were a few shades of pink and maroon too.

Jessica Alba was just gorgeous in a melon coloured Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 gown.  The gown fit her like a glove and highlighted her curves.

Her styling was just as impeccable.  Wavy locks, bright lips, a diamond neck piece by Harry Winston and a flirty, feathered Roger Vivier clutch in a dark orange shade.

2013 BAFTA Tea Party

The annual BAFTA tea party took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA this weekend.

Sienna Miller was radiant in a light pink Valentino Spring 2013 dress with beading. Her signature, tousled blonde hair counteracted the sweetness of the dress nicely. Nude Christian Louboutin heels didn't take attention away from the dress.

Thandie Newton looked lovely as ever, in a lavender dress from the Temperley London Spring 2013 collection. 

Marion Cotillard in Prabal Gurung - W Magazine and Dom Perignon Pre-Golden Globes Party

Marion Cotillard wore a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 ensemble to the W Magazine and Dom Perignon Pre-Golden Globes Party.

This is the third look we have seen from Prabal Gurung's Pre-Fall 2013 collection on the red carpet (see the other two here and here).

While I adore the lily-print tuxedo pants and the buttoned up blouse, something about this look felt lacklustre, which isn't a word I normal associate with Marion or PG.

A more stylish hairstyle, make-up and an edgy pair of heels would've dramatically improved her look.

Marion Cotillard in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Marion Cotillard walked the red carpet at the 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards looking beautiful.

The French actress, who I was expecting to see in a Dior dress, surprised us by wearing a beautiful Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.

It's obvious how beautiful this floral, embellished fit and flare dress is so I don't need to say anything further.  A side parted, low bun and neutral make-up made sure all eyes remained on the dress.  The nude accessories also helped, she wore Jimmy Choo heels, and carried a Louboutin clutch.

Marion Cotillard in Azzaro - 'Rust and Bone' Screen Talk in London

The gorgeous Marion Cotillard spent some time talking about 'Rust and Bone' in London on Sunday.

The actress wore a dress from the Azzaro Fall 2011 collection to the screen talk, which was held as part of the 2012 BFI London Film Festival.

The dotted black and white dress with an over sized bow at the waist was certainly pretty and perfect for this low-key event.  Marion wore her hair up and completed the look with Christian Louboutin sandals.  So glad to see her wearing those shoes and not just pumps, since celebrities warm up to the pump as fall approaches.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 'Rust and Bone' London Premiere

Marion Cotillard premiered her movie 'Rust and Bone' in London on Saturday night, held as part of the ongoing BFI London Film Festival.

She, of course, wore a dress from the fresh Christian Dior Spring 2013 collection.  The actress donned a little black dress from Raf Simons' first RTW collection for the label.

The dress had an asymmetrical hem but I liked that it was simple: high in the front and low in the back.  The shoes were beautiful, as was her hair and make-up but I wish she'd put in some colour somewhere - maybe a bold lip or blue eye-shadow.

Marion Cotillard premiered 'Rust & Bone' in Canada, at the 2012 TIFF.

The French beauty looked magnificent, in a grey strapless Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.

I loved that Marion decided to go for a shorter length than a gown.  She added fun elements to the look by way of that hairstyle, yellow nails and blue velvet pumps by Dior.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 'The Dark Knight Rises' London Premiere

Marion Cotillard killed it on the red carpet in London last night.


The French beauty was magnificent in a Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture dress which featured an orange top and skirt, both printed and textured.  The dress fit her perfectly and I loved the addition of the metallic waist band.

Raf Simon's first collection for Christian Dior was spellbinding, as is apparent from this dress alone.  Marion looked wonderful in her faux bob, red lips, clutch and pointy pumps.  I'm in love with those shoes.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 'The Dark Knight Rises' NYC Premiere

Marion Cotillard attended the NYC premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises' last night.

The French actress wore this Christian Dior frou-frou creation with a ruffled skirt.  Since Marion's Cannes appearance, I had upped my expectations so this was a disappointment.  It just wasn't in sync with the event.

Chopard earrings and silver Louboutin 'Lady Max' heels completed her look.  I haven't made up my mind about her orange eye make-up yet.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - Cannes Film Festival Day 2

Marion Cotillard stepped up her game at the premiere of her movie 'Rust and Bone' on the second day of the Cannes Film Festival.

She wore a navy coloured, strapless velvet and tulle Christian Dior Couture ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and a belt.

It was dramatic but low-key because of the colour.  Still, she looked chic and polished with a voluminous high bun which was adorned with a diamond accessory.

Marion Cotillard made an appearance at the photocall of her upcoming movie 'Rust and Bone' as part of the Cannes Film Festival.

She, of course, wore a Christian Dior dress.  The nude coloured Spring 2012 dress with pleating and a waist-cinching gold belt did her no favours.

The fit is off around the bodice and her hair seemed unkempt too.  Those lemon Versus Spring 2012 pumps were an unexpected and bold touch but she really needs to step up her red carpet game, this is Cannes after all.
