Alicia Vikander & Olga Kurylenko - 2014 BAFTAs

Actresses Alicia Vikander and Olga Kurylenko joined the BAFTAs tonight, as presenters.

Alicia wore a white feathered Chanel Pre-Fall 2013 dress. I am not always a fan of Chanel dresses but something about this white number with colourful embellishments work, on Alicia anyway. She kept the look simple with her hair worn down and electric blue Jimmy Choo 'Xenia' sandals.

Olga looked gorgeous in a Burberry gown, which was custom made for her. I adore the contrast of the simple black bodice with the fiery presence of that glistening orange skirt.

Naomie Harris in Gucci - 2014 BAFTAs

Naomie Harris joined a number of ladies who opted for a lovely, bright colour at tonight's BAFTA awards.

She wore a custom pink Gucci dress with clean lines - the deep v-neckline and leg slit were nicely balanced by the demure three-quarter sleeves and the black waist band.

I loved her accessories too, including those fantastic Christian Louboutin 'Miss Rigidaine' pumps which were showcased to perfection. Naomie also wore large Cartier earrings and carried a Rauwolf clutch.

Amy Adams in Victoria Beckham - 2014 BAFTAs

It was a Victoria Beckham dress for Amy Adams at tonight's BAFTA awards - a first for both the designer and the actress.

The fitted black dress was signature VB and Amy looked gorgeous wearing it. After a string of bright dresses, this darker and calmer look was refreshing.

A sleek updo, dark maroon lips and diamond jewelry rounded off her unexpected look.

Lily Allen in Vivienne Westwood - 2014 BAFTAs

Lily Allen made quite the entrance at the BAFTAs this year.

The singer was clad in a colour-block Vivienne Westwood gown with bright hues of tangerine and fuschia. It didn't stop there.

An oversized apricot bow on the back and a feather head piece finished Lily's fantastical look. It might not be hail worthy but she's definitely not a wallflower.

Lupita Nyong'o in Christian Dior - 2014 BAFTAs

The effervescent Lupita Nyong'o brightened up the red carpet at tonight's BAFTA Awards.

The '12 Years a Slave' actress continued her beautiful sartorial run in this emerald green ballgown from the, admittedly, rather worn out Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture collection. But that certainly does not take away from this magical moment.

Lupita topped off her perfect look with a red manicure and lips, and gold hardware that came in the form of the waist-band and Ana Khouri cuffs and earrings.

Angelina Jolie in Saint Laurent - 2014 BAFTAs

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt killed it on the red carpet at tonight's BAFTA awards.

The power couple showed their true stardom in matching tuxedos, with Angelina's open collar shirt adding an extra sex-appeal altogether.

Her Saint Laurent suit was worn with side-parted, voluminous hair, smokey eyes and patent black pumps. Brad looked fine in his Valentino suit.

Sienna Miller in Matthew Williamson - 2013 Television BAFTAs

Sienna Miller took to the red carpet last night for the 2013 Arqiva British Television Academy Awards in a windy, wet London.

Sienna chose a pastel blue/mint coloured lace dress by one of her favourites, Matthew Williamson's Fall 2013 collection.

Unlike the model, Sienna wore statement jewelery in the form of earrings and finished out the look with minimal make-up, a clear perspex clutch by Charlotte Olympia and cap-toe heels.

I like her look apart from the heels, they just don't go well with the summery hue of that dress; she could have worn these Jimmy Choos - the wedge is on trend, and the light gold would have complimented her clutch.

Jessica Chastain in Roland Mouret - 2013 BAFTAs

My current favourite, Jessica Chastain impressed once more.

She was clad in an electric blue, satin Roland Mouret gown, custom-made for the red haired beauty.

A classic hairstyle and matte red lips, as well as cat-eyes completed her look.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior - 2013 BAFTAs

Marion Cotillard brightened the dreary evening in London at the 2013 BAFTAs.

She wore one of my favourite dresses from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection. That colour is just brilliant. And Marion made the most of it by adding a retro hairstyle and red lips to the look.

One day I might be bored of the Dior-Cotillard combination, but that day isn't today.

Amy Adams in Elie Saab - 2013 BAFTAs

Amy Adams was a beautiful vision on the red carpet at the 2013 BAFTAs.

'The Master' actress wore a black creation from the Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture collection to the event that featured a plunging neckline, covered in intricate lace.

I adored her hair and ruby earrings, so gorgeous!

Sarah Jessica Parker in Elie Saab - 2013 BAFTAs

I was surprised to find SJP on the red carpet at the BAFTAs.

But she brought her own unique sartorial sense to the rainy evening in an Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 jumpsuit. Her odd pose in the photo aside, she looked polished and chic in the black one-piece, worn sans the gold belt.

Instead, she wore it with a statement necklace and sleek, straight locks. She looked good but a touch of colour wouldn't have gone amiss.

Jennifer Garner in Roland Mouret - 2013 BAFTAs

Jennifer Garner walked the red carpet at this year's BAFTAs as husband Ben Affleck's date.

She went for a structured Roland Mouret Spring 2013 dress, I love how it's so different and elegant without looking matronly or boring.

She wore her hair in an updo and finished off her look with moody make-up which included a darker lip colour and black nails.

Anne Hathaway in Burberry - 2013 BAFTAs

Best Supporting Actress award winner, Anne Hathaway wore British label Burberry to the BAFTAs.

The black dress with a studded top was pretty simple, a little too simple in my opinion. I miss the old Anne, who wore more extravagant dresses.

Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior - 2013 BAFTAs

Jennifer Lawrence, nominated for Best Actress for 'Silver Linings Playbook' attended the 2013 BAFTAs in Dior.

The strapless, pale pink silk Couture gown had multi-coloured embellishments on the bodice, which added a touch of youth to the otherwise elegant dress. Slicked back hair, smokey eyes and Chopard jewelry completed her look.

2013 BAFTA Tea Party

The annual BAFTA tea party took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA this weekend.

Sienna Miller was radiant in a light pink Valentino Spring 2013 dress with beading. Her signature, tousled blonde hair counteracted the sweetness of the dress nicely. Nude Christian Louboutin heels didn't take attention away from the dress.

Thandie Newton looked lovely as ever, in a lavender dress from the Temperley London Spring 2013 collection.

Shailene Woodley In Dolce & Gabbana - 2012 BAFTAs

Shailene Woodley wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress to the BAFTAs this year.

The strapless, baby pink tulle confection with rosettes was incredibly cute and she wore it well, with a top-knot and pink lips.
