Kate Beckinsale was pretty in pink at the 2013 Met Ball in NYC.

The English actress is just too pretty to be working a punk look, so I'm happy she stuck to what she knows best.  The strapless pink Alberta Ferretti frock may not have been edgy in any sense but neither was it boring.

Kate accessorised with statement earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and ankle-strap Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Sally Field in Alberta Ferretti - 2013 Oscar Nominees Luncheon

'Lincoln' actress and two-time Oscar winner Sally Field attended the Oscar Nominees Luncheon in LA.

She wore a delicate, soft white Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 dress to the event, which was very appropriate from all aspects.  I might not like the pairing of the dress with black pumps but I can't see this look worn with sandals either, and the other option would be a nude shoe.

The pregnant actress looked pretty in an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 dress.  I loved the beautiful shades of blue throughout this collection.

Malin completed the look with a metallic clutch and wavy hair.

The Alberta Ferretti and Vogue Limited Edition Collection 2013 Fashion Show took place at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday evening in Los Angeles.

The event was attended by Selena Gomez, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, who all wore soft, pastel hued chiffon dresses from the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 collection.  I like all the looks, but Selena looked lovely especially. I hated how Brittany paired her lilac dress with suede ankle-boots.

Kate Beckinsale was fierce in an edgy black LBD from the Fall 2012 collection, finishing off her look with a pinned bob and edgy black Casadei heels.  

Olivia Munn looked polished in a Spring 2012 white sheath, which she paired with black accessories.

Selena Gomez Promoting 'Hotel Transylvania' at 2012 TIFF

Selena Gomez has had a very busy week.

After her promotional duties for 'Spring Breakers', she attended the photocall and premiere of  'Hotel Transylvania' at the 2012 TIFF.

For the photocall, her look consisted of separates: a lace Dolce & Gabbana top worn with Faith Collection leather pants and a white blazer by BCBG.  It was a simple, striking look.

At the premiere, Selena wore an LBD from the Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 collection that featured a high neck and delicately embellished top and skirt.

Ashley Benson in Alberta Ferretti - 'Spring Breakers' Premiere at 2012 Venice Film Festival

Ashley Benson walked the red carpet last night at the premiere of her movie 'Spring Breakers'.

The blonde actress was clad in a strapless cobalt blue gown by Alberta Ferretti.  I love the beautiful colour of this dress and those exquisite embellishments.

Ashley added a contrast colour to the blue dress by way of those delicious Dana Rebecca earrings.  A seriously smokey eye and an updo completed the look.

Nicole Richie attended the launch of her new perfume titled Nicole, in Glendale, California.

She wore a white dress with pleats by Alberta Ferretti.  The softness of the dress matches the perfume bottle's look so I'd say this was a good choice.

She sported a darker hair colour and completed the look with glossy lips.  The only eye sore here were those brown and gold heels. One word, why?

Jada Pinkett Smith who stars in 'Madagascar 3' attended the movie's photocall during the third day of the Cannes Film Festival.


The aqua coloured chiffon Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress was absolutely divine.  The dress also fit Jada impeccably.

She wore it with a gold cuff and wavy hair to create a goddess look.

Eva Longoria wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 gown for the opening night dinner.

After wowing on the red carpet, Eva kept up her standards in this black lace dress. Despite being black it didn't look boring.

She wore it with an updo which was nice but her make-up felt uneven and the Brian Atwood heels too clunky.

Lana Del Ray wore the only black dress on the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival.

Lana has been known to wear simple gowns so this was right in her territory.  The strapless Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 gown with a tiered hip was glamorous, nonetheless.

She wore it with wavy locks, diamond earrings and a box clutch.

Eva Longoria attended the NBC Upfront event in NYC for her upcoming show, which she is producing.

The actress wore a red, high-neck Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 dress with satin ribbon detail.  The dress made the actress look statuesque, which is always a good thing.

However, her choice of footwear was rather dull; those Brian Atwood pumps look clunky.

Abbie Cornish was spotted at the opening of Marquee in Sydney, Australia wearing an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress.

The powder green crochet dress looked fabulous against her tan but I'm not feeling those purple satin Giuseppe Zannoti sandals at all.

 She probably tried to emulate the runway look by pairing the dress with bright sandals but the ankle-strap makes her legs look stumpy.

Brooklyn Decker made an appearance at the German Film Ball in Munich wearing an Alberta Ferretti gown.

The champagne coloured, bias-cut silk gown had cap sleeves and a plunging neckline.  I like the colour on Brooklyn, but the way the fabric is clinging on to her is unflattering.  The hairstyle is also kind of aging right?  A soft updo would have been more suitable.

She completed the look with red lips & sparkling jewels.

Ellie Kemper from 'The Office' & 'Bridesmaids' wore an  

Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress to the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.  'Bridesmaids' won the award for Best Comedy.

The black, tea-length dress with a swirly pattern and a floaty hem was lovely on Ellie, and I love the way her hair colour compliments the black of the dress.  

A simple hairstyle, kohl-rimmed eyes, pink lips, black heels & a (gorgeous) clutch completed her look.
