Kristen Bell in Zuhair Murad - 2014 CMT Music Awards

The effervescent Kristen Bell hosted the CMT Music Awards again this year.

She wore a midnight blue Zuhair Murad dress with intricate, geometric inspired embellishments.  The colour, the fit and the styling was perfect here as you never want to overcrown a Zuhair Murad dress with unnecessary accessories.

Wavy hair, dewy make up and a soft pink lip colour completed her look, along with a diamond bangle and Brian Atwood heels.

2014 Golden Globes - Black (Part I)

Cate Blanchett was as queenly and ethereal as always in a gorgeous, delicate black lace and tulle Armani Privé gown.  I was a little surprised as Cate does love to wear colour on the red carpet.  Nevertheless, she oozed sophistication with the addition of the faux-bob hairstyle, those gorgeous diamond earrings and the pink lips.

Kristen Bell attended the 2013 CMT Music Awards in Tennessee a few days ago. her first big appearance since having a baby a few months ago.

The blonde actress looked fresh as a daisy in a not so fresh dress. I say this because as flattering as her Zuhair Murad LBD is, the fabric and colour are all wrong for this time of the year.  I would have rather seen a pastel chiffon maxi or dress on the new, glowing mother.

A crimped hairstyle and black pointy pumps completed her look.

Alessandra Ambrosio was jaw-droppingly stunning in a liquid silver Zuhair Murad gown - I loved the straight, sleek hair and smoky eyes.

Irina Shayk's Roberto Cavalli dress was a little too revealing   There's tastefully sexy and then there's tacky - this was an instance of the latter.

Milla Jovovich wore dark blue again but her Armani dress was an improvement on her Prada debacle.

Cheryl Cole broke her Stephane Rolland for Cannes run this year.

The L'Oreal representative instead wore a maroon Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 gown with an illusion bodice with the usual, beautiful embellishments.

Eva Longoria in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Cannes Film Festival Day 3 & 'Le Passe' Premiere

Eva Longoria finally made an appearance on the red carpet at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

The L'Oreal beauty looked glamorous as always in a pale gold Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture gown that featured intricate embroidery, long sleeves, a low back and a majestic train.

Eva always brings her best at Cannes and I am looking forward to the next few days.

Alessandra Ambrosio in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Alessandra Ambrosio bagged an invite to the Vanity Fair Oscars party in Hollywood on Sunday evening.

The Victoria's Secret Angel wore a high-neck, white coloured Zuhair Murad Couture gown. Alessandra has quite a good history with Zuhair Murad, so I'm not surprised she turned to him for her Oscar party dress.

A low bun, and pink lips were all this supermodel needed to stand out.

Lily Collins really surprised me at the Vanity Fair Oscars party this year.

The actress, who always looks pretty on the red carpet, was a knockout in a Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture dress.  The colour was unexpected on her and she carried off the dress like she owned it.

And I had to put in her hair and make-up close-ups, that hairstyle is simple stunning.

Catherine Zeta Jones in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Oscars

The always beautiful and iconic actress, Catherine Zeta Jones attended the Academy Awards with her husband, Michael Douglas.

She wore a curve enhancing dress from the Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture collection, which was a Pinterest favourite of mine.

The pale gold confection was sophisticated but sultry at the same time.  Catherine left her dark locks down, and added Lorraine Schwartz jewelry to her look.

Nina Dobrev in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Weinstein Company & Chopard Pre-Oscars Party

Nina Dobrev was in attendance at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscars bash with her boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.

She wore a Fall 2013 dress by one of her (and my) red carpet favourites: Zuhair Murad.  After a series of slinky looks, this pretty, girl frock was a welcome change.

Her coffee coloured dress featured intricate embroidery and was worn without a belt, which was a good touch.  A neat hairstyle, Carla Amorim earrings and Stuart Weitzman pumps completed her look.

Nina Dobrev was fresh faced at the 2013 NFL Honors in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Amy Poehler in Zuhair Murad - 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Amy Poehler attended the SAG Awards last evening.

The 'Parks and Recreation' star wore a very simple black Zuhair Murad gown for the evening.

It all may look plain but I really like her understated look, completed with a light pink lip colour, Forevermark jewelry and a grey clutch.

Marion Cotillard walked the red carpet at the 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards looking beautiful.

The French actress, who I was expecting to see in a Dior dress, surprised us by wearing a beautiful Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.

It's obvious how beautiful this floral, embellished fit and flare dress is so I don't need to say anything further.  A side parted, low bun and neutral make-up made sure all eyes remained on the dress.  The nude accessories also helped, she wore Jimmy Choo heels, and carried a Louboutin clutch.

Kristen Stewart - 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2' Promotions So Far

Kristen Stewart began her promotional tour for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2' this week.

She started it off with a bang; at the LA premiere of the movie, Kristen wore a nude coloured, sheer dress from the Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 gown.  Her hair looked glossy and make-up sultry, in all this was a winning look.

For the London premiere, she went back to ZM, in a Spring 2013 jumpsuit.  I'm not much of a fan of this glitzy, illusion panelled jumpsuit but credit goes to K.Stew for making it look classy.

In Madrid, for the photocall, she wore a black and white, fitted dress with an ornate neckline from the Julien Macdonald Spring 2013 collection.  The dress gave her curves but I wish she'd made an effort with her hair and make-up.

Then for the premiere, she surprised everyone by turning up in a bright Christian Dior frock.  The fit and flare is a change of silhouette but I found the colour very jarring for the season and just, visually.  Her shoes however, I loved.

Kristen Stewart bounced back on the red carpet and she did so amazingly.

K. Stew walked the red carpet for the Toronto International FIlm Festival (TIFF), promoting her movie 'On the Road'.

She wore an uncharacteristically girly Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture cocktail dress.  This dress comes from a collection titled 'Skin flowers' and it really looks as though the flowers are part of her skin.

The dress was worn with a different hairstyle than usual and her favourite Louboutins.

Emmy Rossum was beautiful at the CBS, The CW & Showtime 2012 TCA Party.

The 'Shameless' actress wore a black and white lace Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress.  The fitted dress was lovely on her.

The classically pretty dress was teamed with wavy locks swept to the side, red lips and ankle-strap Louboutins.

Hayden Panettiere attended the Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, California last night.

She wore a purple, sequined dress by Zuhair Murad which unfortunately matched the purple carpet she was standing upon perfectly.


Something about this entire look just gives out an ice-princess/ballerina vibe.  Not a fan.

Blake Lively lived up to expectations at the LA premiere of her Oliver Stone directed movie called 'Savages'.

The actress was smoking, in a curve-hugging Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture dress. The strapless nude dress with black beading was literally made for a moment like this.

Blake wore her gorgeous hair in Veronica Lake-esque waves and completed the look with matte red lips, nails and gold jewelery.

Catherine Zeta Jones in Zuhair Murad - 'Rock of Ages' LA Premiere

Catherine Zeta Jones wore a Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress to the premiere of 'Rock of Ages' in Hollywood on Friday.

The one-shoulder dress with black beading was glamorous alright, but it just didn't feel like Catherine at all.  I think she entered J.Lo mode with this dress.

Not that that's bad, but Catherine is more suited to elegant, simple dresses.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad - 'American Idol'

After the gold rush, Jennifer Lopez reverted to sequins for her appearance as a judge on 'American Idol'.

She donned an LBD with a high neck, full sleeves and a back cut-out from the Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture collection.

This a better look for her, despite the short hemline.  An updo and ankle-strap Louboutins completed her look.
