2013 Golden Globes - Blue/Purple

Another strong colour of the night was blue in all its shades.

The Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) award winner Jessica Chastain opted for a baby blue coloured dress.  The custom-made Calvin Klein Collection dress had me at the colour but would have looked sleeker if the plunging neckline wasn't so loose-fitting.  

All that side, Jessica looked gorgeous neck up.  The pinned back red hair, berry-stained lips and those Harry Winston earrings gave her a classic, old Hollywood aura.

Lucy Liu in Atelier Versace - 2012 Emmy Awards

Lucy Liu was a stunner on the red carpet at the Emmys.

The actress wore a silver palette studded dress by Atelier Versace.  I love how the silver is not too overpowering.

Lucy kept her look simple, just wearing Lorraine Schwartz earrings and her hair in a half-up, half-down style.  It was a simple, to the point look and worked on every level.

Lucy Liu looked flawless at the CBS, The CW & Showtime 2012 TCA Party in Beverley Hills last week.

She opted for a fit and flare LBD with cut outs near the neck, from the J. Mendel Fall 2012 collection. 

It was worn by her with a sleek ponytail, Brian Atwood pumps and a burgundy Judith Leiber clutch.  I loved this elegant, sophisticated look from the actress.

Lucy Liu in Marios Schwab - EXTRA Stage at 2012 Comic Con

Lucy Liu was seen in California last week as she attended EXTRA Stage at Comic Con.

Lucy wore a black dress with an interesting neckline from the Marios Shwab Resort 2012 collection.

I love this dress but hated the way in which Lucy styled it.  The hair was boring, as were those black peep-toes.

Lucy Liu in Atelier Versace - 2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards

Lucy Liu was present at last night's Critics' Choice Television Awards in California.

The actress was lovely in a blush pink Atelier Versace Spring 2011 dress with slinky shoulder straps.  The rest of the dress is full of lace and ruffles but Lucy stood her own.

She wore it quite simply, with a low bun, drop earrings and a gold clutch.

Lucy Liu In Chadwick Bell - 'Detachment' Premiere

Lucy Liu attended the premiere of her new movie 'Detachment' in NYC.

The actress donned a Chadwick Bell Fall 2012 dress for the event .  I think she looks fantastic in the slightly sheer LBD with an iridescent floral print and leather flowers.

 

 The nude peeptoes are a little dull but I like her minimal look, beauty wise and her electric blue clutch by Roger Vivier.

Lucy Liu attended the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards yesterday.

The actress wore a Roberto Cavalli Resort 2012 dress that had a black halter neck top and a tiered skirt with animal-print and a cotton layer.

I like this flirty, fresh dress on her and it's appropriate for the event.

She didn't bore us with black/nude pumps but rather went for the Giuseppe Zannoti sandals.

The actress wore a Fall 2011 Giambattista Valli shift with shoulder pads and a floral print.

She had her hair up in a chic bun, wore diamond studs, carried a turquoise Tory Burch clutch and finished off her look with opaque tights and boots.
