Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci - 2013 Met Ball

Amber Heard caught everyone's eye without going over-the-top at the 2013 Met Ball.

Attending with Pucci's Peter Dundas, Amber wore a fire-engine red dress by Pucci with full sleeves, a low back and embellishments.  It was a completely different look than last year, and this is why I always like Amber's style; she isn't repetitive. 

Beautiful, wavy locks and a red clutch completed the look.

Amber Heard in Atelier Versace - 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

The gorgeous, bombshell Amber Heard made an appearance at the 2013 VF Oscars party.

She wore a fresh off the runway Atelier Versace Spring 2013 dress, with a sequined front panel and halter neck.  The dress was a departure from Amber's usual style of curve enhancing dresses but she managed to ooze a sensuality anyway, thanks to the red lips and glossy, retro waves.

2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

The annual Art of Elysium Heaven Gala took place in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Camilla Belle was literally the belle of the ball in one of favourite dresses from the Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 collection (see my Pinterest here); the hair, the off-shoulder detail, jewels, it was perfection.

Rachel Bilson took me by surprise in a fun, hot pink, animal-print gown from the Valentino Resort 2013 collection. She really didn't need much to make this look pop so straight hair and minimum make-up were enough.

Anna Kendrick also looked colourful in an emerald green, silk cocktail dress by Christian Dior.  I loved her hairstyle but the black pumps felt so stodgy.  

Amber Heard was elegant in a white Valentino Spring 2013 dress with black flowers and full sleeves.  

Julianne Hough was pretty in a braided updo, bright lips and a Jenny Packham gown.

Krysten Ritter wore a light blue dress from the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 gown which, to be honest, washed her out.

Kirsten Dunst wore a Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 dress. I thought the checkered gown looked pretty good on her but looked uncomfortable.

Jaime King posed for the cameras in a bright red, full sleeved red gown.

Amber Heard attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in LA.

She was lovely in an LBD by Gucci with a gold, embellished neckline.

If they want to show off their curves, Zac Posen is a go-to for a lot of ladies in the celebrity world.

Amber Heard did the same when she wore this dusty rose Zac Posen gown to the Met gala last night.

She worked that gown like no other and shut it down with retro hair and bold red lips.

Amber Heard solidified her 'bombshell' status at the launch of 'The Conversations' series at the DVF Studio in NYC on Saturday.

She wore a fuschia corset top with a bright red Zac Posen Fall 2012 pencil skirt.  

Voluminous hair, blushed cheeks and bow-topped pumps were the finishing touches.  Wouldn't a sleek gold sandal have upped the sexy factor?

Amber Heard wore a slinky Yves Saint Laurent gown to The Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of 'Manon' in NYC last night.

As usual, Amber knocked it out of the park in this backless silk gown.  Colour was added via red lips and nails.

Amber Heard In Antonio Berardi - Montblanc Vanity Fair Party

Amber Heard attended the Montblanc Vanity Fair Party in Beverley Hills last night.  She came out to celebrate Princess Grace of Monaco's jewelery collection.

She wore an Antonio Berardi sheath with an embellished bodice.  Tumbling locks, glossy lips and black heels maintained her 'bombshell' status.

Amber Heard In Guess - Guess Spring/Summer 2012 Collection Press Preview

Amber Heard, who is the face of Guess' Spring 2012 campaign attended the label's Spring 2012 Collection Preview Party in NYC yesterday.

Amber donned a Guess by Marciano dress for the event.  I can't say that the strapless, plaid black dress is bad looking.  It's just that it's quite dull.

She finished her look with wavy hair, Cleopatra eyes, silver bangles, and cap-toe pumps.  The pantyhose is totally unnecessary though.

Blonde bombshell Amber Heard made her way down the red carpet at the SAGs in a Zac Posen gown.

The black gown with a fishtail hem has a slightly athletic feel to it because of the cutouts on the bodice.  The dress was dramatic on Amber, if only a little snug.  She wore it with a strong updo & H. Stern bling.

Amber Heard In Donna Karan - 2012 Art of Elysium Gala

Amber Heard walked in and simply shut it down at the Art of Elysium event.

The blonde bombshell wore a rose-gold, sparkly gown by Donna Karan.  This look reminded me of Scarlet Johansson before she got stuck in the sweet dress phase.

Amber's make-up is a little loud, maybe she should have gone easy on the blush but she looks beautiful nonetheless.

Amber Heard was spotted on a night out in NYC wearing a stylish ensemble.

And the main aspect of this look?  The fabulous Proenza Schouler boucle coat with embroidery.

She wore a floaty Dolce & Gabbana dress underneath, worn with tights and booties.

Simple hair and minimum make-up were the finishing touches.

Amber Heard stole the show for me (after Rachel McAdams) at the LA premiere of 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'.  And she isn't even in the movie!

Amber wore a simple tailored ensemble by Valentino but made it sexy via the retro hair & red lipstick.

Amber Heard wore a cream coloured Alessandra Rich Fall 2011 column gown to the Trevor Live event.

It's a fairly simple dress, but the lace panels and Amber's spiky gold earrings make the look interesting.

Katy Perry attended the Grammy nominations event in a lacy pink Dolce & Gabbana strapless column gown but her pink hair just killed the look that could have worked well.

Amber Heard was at the Bahamas Film Festival, also wearing a summery Dolce & Gabbana dress.  The white dress with a nude coloured belt was matched with her peeptoes.

Angie Harmon wore a shimmery Jean Fares couture dress to the Snowflake Ball in NYC.  This dress is very socialite-esque (think Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian) and just does not suit Angie.

Alessandra Ambrosio wore a plunge-neck Balmain mini to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show viewing party.  As hot as she looks, the hair & accessories are just falling flat.

Jessica Alba looked super stylish wearing straight-leg red jeans by Kate Spade New York while on a coffee run in LA, with a white tee, black blazer, gold necklace and black boots.

Jessica Biel stepped out in London wearing orange separates with a blue coat and blue caged heels.  As much as I love the bright colours, the orange on orange just makes me think of prison.

Amber Heard In Stella McCartney

After wearing a floral Reem Acra ensemble during the photocall of 'The Rum Diary', Amber went back to her sleek style at the premiere of the movie.

She wore a full sleeved, navy coloured Stella McCartney gown that has a black border on the hem and a slight back drop.

Amber's gorgeous face makes a pretty good job of distracting away from the fact that it's a bland look, she needed a dose of sparkle in the form of some statement earrings or necklace.

Amber Heard posed for the shutterbugs in Paris, during the photocall of 'The Rum Diary'.

The blonde actress wore a Spring 2012 Reem Acra ensemble.  The busy, colourful, floral top can be seen on the runway.  

Can't say I'd opt for something so busy for a photocall but Amber did a good job of carrying this outfit.

Amber wore the look with nude pumps, which are perfect with in this instance.

Amber Heard In Alessandra Rich

Hollywood's newest red carpet star, Amber Heard brought her sizzle to the London premiere of 'The Rum Diary'.

 

She stunned in a pale, figure-hugging, shimmery column gown by Alessandra Rich.

Amber's face looked flawless, with smokey eyes and a nude lip.  A strong updo, drop earrings & nude peeptoes were her finishing touches.

Salma Hayek was busy promoting her movie 'Puss In Boots' all over the place last week.

At the LA premiere, she chose a one-shoulder, textured frock by Bottega Veneta;  I love the shades of colours here as they match really well with Salma's chocolate brown locks!  A gilded clutch and black slingbacks completed her look.

An animal-print Alexander McQueen (Resort 2012) frock with a full skirt was her choice of dress for an NYC screening - I think she looks fab, her curvy figure is accentuated but it doesn't look tacky.  Tousled hair, a bright lip colour and caramel coloured pumps were the finishing touches.

Anne Hathaway wore a baby-blue printed Erdem sheath at the Hollywood Film Awards last week ; it's fresh and feminine.  But you know my complain right? The boring black peeptoes!  Her hair could've looked cuter if it had been put up in a bun too.

Julianne Hough, also an attendee at the event, picked a plunge neck Naeem Khan dress (Spring 2012) with a gold rose design.  As good as she looks, there's something very cheesy about her on the red carpet - maybe the DWTS image is still there...

Amber Heard wore a beautiful, aqua coloured, Roksanda Ilincic dress at the Hollywood Film Awards. The dress had me at the colour.

At the London premiere of 'The Rum Diary', Amber took a colour break and went for an all black Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a bejewelled waist, adding interest via the fuschia lipstick.

Nikki Reed joined the promotion bandwagon for 'Breaking Dawn Part 1'.  The newly-wed actress donned a bright shift, wearing it with interesting suede shoes or 'shooties' (shoe-booties)... get it?

Rebecca Hall walked the red carpet at the London Film Festival in a Marios Schwab frock - I love the sport-chic feel of it and those heels are fab (if not too matchy-matchy, but who needs boring ol' black pumps anyway?).

Eva Longoria gave two sleek looks with neutral heels this past week:

First, in a midnight blue Victoria Beckham (Fall 2010) dress with a draped neck and black belt.

For a TV appearance, Eva opted for a padded shouldered white Antonio Berardi sheath with an interesting neck.

Thandie Newton was one of my favourites this week, in a metallic Giles (Spring 2012) dress with a printed bodice and red belt - she paired the dress with aqua Nicholas Kirkwoods which was unexpected and refreshing!

Jennifer Lopez also surprised me by wearing a girly silhouette in the form of this sky blue Lisa Ho dress, which she wore with a tight top knot and nude peeptoes. 

I wish she'd gone for a softer hairstyle though, the top knot adds a harshness to her face.

American actress/producer, Leelee Sobieski was at the Fashion Group International’s 28th annual Night of Star event, wearing a Jill Sander Fall 2012 outfit.  I would've seen this one on Tilda Swinton but Leelee carries it off pretty well, with a sleek bun and pink lipstick.

Olivia Wilde looked smashing, at a Glamour event, wearing a panelled J Mendel Resort 2012 dress.  Bright pink pumps and gold earrings added interest to her look.

At the TeenNick Halo Awards, Victoria Justice wore a pink Tadashi Shoji number with Giuseppe Zannoti ankle-strap heels.  I find this dress sickly sweet and hate the colour, even the hair and make-up are falling flat.

Emerging actress (and one-to-watch-out-on-the-red-carpet star) Felicity Jones wore a rose-gold Chloé dress at an LA do, with rich purple heels.  A messy fishtail braid and smoky eyes completed her fabulous look.

Lauren Conrad also had two distinct looks this week:

I like the 20's hairstyle she's sporting with the palette adorned BCBG Max Azria mini - retro eyes and pink lips added interest to her look but I wish she'd chosen a different clutch, the oversize one feels out of place.

Her second look consisted of a simple fall print dress which she wore with simple hair and neutral pumps; I would have gone for some rich hued pumps though.
