Jennifer Lawrence in Proenza Schouler - 2013 Comic-Con

Jennifer Lawrence was at Comic-Con yesterday, for the promotion of the second 'The Hunger Games' movie.

Jennifer followed the popular crop top trend of this summer by wearing this black and white Proenza Schouler ensemble.  I loved the elegance of the printed top and the wrap around white skirt.

The look was accessorised in a youthful manner: a braided updo and mesh lace heels by Nicholas Kirkwood finished out the look.

Nicole Kidman in Oscar de la Renta - Gold Meets Golden Event

Nicole Kidman suited up for the Gold Meets Golden Event in LA.  The event was an inauguration for Hollywood and the sports industry.

She wore a cream coloured Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 suit to the event, under which she wore a striped gold blouse.

This look was a complete surprise to me because she tends to stick to dresses and also a stick straight hairstyle.  Pink lips and matching white Nicholas Kirkwood sandals completed the look.

Jennifer Lawrence in Antonio Berardi - 'Silver Linings Playbook' Photocall at 2012 TIFF

For the photocall of 'Silver Linings Playbook', Jennifer Lawrence went a low key dress.

She wore a textured white dress with three quarter sleeves from the Antonio Berardi Resort 2013 collection.

I like how striking it looks when coupled with Jennifer's dark hair and blue eyes.  She wore it with bronze Nicholas Kirkwood heels, but a brighter colour would have been a better choice.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Prabal Gurung - 2012 Vogue Fashion's Night Out

Sarah Jessica Parker was out in NYC on VFNO at the Fred Leighton boutique.

She wore a Prabal Gurung which had short sleeves and an ombre effect at the hem.  

As usual, SJP dressed it up with accessories which included Fred Leighton jewels and Nicholas Kirkwood pumps.

Jessica Biel in Christian Dior - 2012 ESPY Awards

Jessica Biel left me speechless (in a good way) at the 2012 ESPY Awards.

The actress, who more often than not tends to bore me in the style department looked absolutely wonderful in a white Christian Dior Resort 2013 dress.  I love seeing white in the summer, it just feels so clean and elegant.  

Jessica wore the dress with a beautiful retro hairstyle, neutral make-up, amber earrings and white heels.  The shoes just made her look better - these Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic heels with a neon heel are wonderful.

Blake Lively in Michael Kors - 'Good Morning America' Appearance

America must have gotten a morning jolt when Blake Lively made an appearance on 'Good Morning America' last week.

The 'Savages' actress was striking, in a sharp red pant suit from the Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2012 collection, worn with a black top.

The colours are gorgeous on her, and we don't see Blake wearing red a lot so this was a nice change.  I also love her choice of footwear: those Nicholas Kirkwood sandals add interest to this look.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Akermann - 'Moonrise Kingdom' Cannes Photocall

The grandest summer event is here.  The 2012 Cannes Film Festival began with Tilda Swinton posing for photographers at the Palais des Festival; she was promoting her movie 'Moonrise Kingdom'.

Tilda wore a Haider Akermann ensemble which consisted of a deep, mauve chiffon blouse tucked into a lavender pencil skirt.  

We can really see why Mr. Akermann is fast becoming known as a master of colour.  Tilda finished her look with Nicholas Kirkwood nude pumps.

Jennifer Garner attended her first post-pregnancy event at this year's Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

The actress was radiant in an ivory/blush lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana.  The colours offset her hair tones really well and its shape was sleek.

She wore it with matching nude Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes.

Kristen Wiig attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of 'Revenge for Jolly' in a Theyskens' Theory Fall 2012 dress.

This grey mesh dress really made Kristen's dark hair stand out and I like how she matched her clutch to the dress.

Jessica Biel in Giambattista Valli & Kate Beckinsale in J Mendel - 'Total Recall' Mexico Photocall

At the 'Total Recall' photocall in Cancun, Mexico, both Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale wore very contrasting ensembles.

Jessica Biel wore a terracotta top with printed pants from the Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2012 collection.  Relaxed hair, natural-looking make-up and tan Giambattista Valli sandals added the finishing touches to her effortless look.

Kate Beckinsale stuck to her glamorous style in a sexy J Mendel dress with a leather collar, draping and a thigh-high split.  As usual, perfectly wavy locks and nude pumps (by Nicholas Kirkwood) completed her look.

Whose look do you gravitate more towards? It's Jessica Biel for me as I love separates.

Beyonce in Victoria Beckham - Nobu Dinner in NYC

Beyonce enjoyed dinner at Nobu in NYC with husband Jay Z yesterday evening.

For the outing, Beyonce wore a fitted blue Victoria Beckham dress with a wide v-neck and three-quarter sleeves.  She 'jazzed' it up by layering statement necklaces by Lanvin & Swarovski.

A simple ponytail, a silver clutch & Nicholas Kirkwood sandals were the finishing touches to her look. Love!

Heidi Klum went for a Giles Spring 2012 dress, for the AMAs.

The metallic, sleeveless dress with a laser-cut design didn't suit Heidi much - I much prefer her in flowy gowns & soft dresses.

Miranda Kerr attended the 2011 Museum of Modern Arts (MoMa) Film Benefit, honoring Spanish director, Pedro Almodovar in NYC.

The Australian supermodel wore a gorgeous Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 ensemble.

The digital print top with a halter neck and peplum silhouette was worn with a pencil skirt & black Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

I love how she went for a modern, sport-chic look, all the while looking perfectly lady-like.  

A sleek bun, red lips & a gold clutch completed her look.

Emma Watson was seen in Paris, wearing a layered monochromatic Azzaro Frock with black pumps - cute!

Ashley Greene looked lovely at the premiere of "Skateland" in an asymmetrical, light pink Fendi dress which she wore with loose, tousled locks and carried a gold tweed clutch. The bright pink nail polish is a nice touch.


Sarah Jessica Parker was seen in NYC, at the Robin Hood Gala with big hair! I think she thought to add drama to the simple indigo Halston gown by way of the hairstyle but I'm not loving the result.

Gwyneth Paltrow thought of nabbing attention at the National Movie Awards held in London in this black plunge neck Roksanda Illicinic number. It's just a trying-too-hard-to-look-cool look, the dead-looking hair doesn't help matters.

Gisele Bundchen Brady was also at the Robin Hood Gala in NYC in a lace and tweed Emanuel Ungaro dress. She wore her hair in a high bun and added colour through the lipstick, she is wearing Louboutin stilettos.

At another event, she was spotted in a form-fitting Victoria Beckham sheath. Let's be honest, she's the world's top supermodel, she could wear a sack and look good. (Not jealous at all...)

Rachel Bilson, fresh from her trip to France for the Chanel show, was seen at the designer, Derek Lam's store opening in a floral maxi from the designer, which she wore with a statement necklace and white clutch.

Freida Pinto was in London, at the opening of the Nicholas Kirkwood flagship store. She wore a colourful Peter Pilotti sheath with bright orange peeptoes by Nicholas Kirkwood. I like this dress, the sashes of white fabric balance the brightness.

Camilla Belle was at the premiere of her new, interestingly titled movie "From Prada to Nada" wearing a sharp suit by Jason Wu, I'd normally complain about the midriff baring top but it's something totally new for Camilla and she kind of works it.

Whitney Port's outfit was fitting with her trademark mix style - she added animal print flats to her the citrus coloured top and skirt look and finished off with a simple ponytail.

Reese Witherspoon's all black outfit was nice but I wish she had worn different shoes - her feet are blending in with the carpet! These YSLs would have worked with Reese's usual classic style, but I would have chosen these Nicholas Kirkwoods to be a little adventurous.
