Going Green

Spotted: Glee's Jayma Mays at the premiere of "The Smurfs".

She brightened the blue carpet in an emerald green mini by Reem Acra!

The poker-straight hair and deep purple pumps look lovely but I am not loving the coral lipstick on her.

More From Comic Con

Freida Pinto was promoting her new movie, "Immortals" at Comic Con on Sunday.

She donned a neon Michael Kors shift, that had black accents.

I like this sport-chic look from her but the strappy sandals could've been swapped for a more delicate ones, like this Gucci 'kinga' heel (previously seen on Jennifer Aniston here).

Nina Dobrev and her "Vampire Diaries" co-stars, Ian Somerhalder & Paul Wesley turned up too.

I adore Nina's floral, ruffle dress by Dalia Macphee! She nailed the look with fuschia lipstick and satin peeptoes.

Her evening look saw her wear a delicate Zuhair Murad dress, which she vamped up (no pun intended) with dark lipstick and red pumps.

I like that Nina is having fun with her clothes and has managed to get out of her Georges Chakra rut.

On Set With Gossip Girl

The Serena is back.

Blake Lively was seen in NYC wearing a boho outfit, that kept in tune with her character's style aesthetic.

She wore a chiffon red Rag & Bone maxi skirt, with a white vest and threw on an embellished vest.

Messy waves with a braid, a chunky necklace and stacked bangles completed her look.

Comic Con Weekend

Spotted: Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale, for the Comic Con promotion of their upcoming movie, "Total Recall".

Jessica Biel wore a floating top and coral coloured shorts, all by Christian Cota, with Aldo heels. It's a fun, modern look but the midriff baring top is bothersome.

Kate went for all black in head to toe Tibi - it's sleek and stylish.

Cowboys & Aliens Premiere

Olivia Wilde walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, "Cowboys & Aliens", also starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford.

Dolce & Gabbana was the label of choice for Olivia; I like its simplicity.

Olivia also went for heavily made up eyes, which is a welcome change and it adds drama to the dress.

Fashion Roundup

Starting off the fashion roundup this week with lace!

Sarah Jessica Parker was seen at an event in Shanghai, China, in this fabulous white Elie Saab dress with a matching jacket. The white shoes in her case totally work.

Emma Stone once again played around with designers, in this green Dolce & Gabbana sheath, adding interest with her animal-print Brian Atwoods and red lips.

Charlize Theron made an appearance at Comic Con in San Diego, wearing a chic casual outfit consisting of a sparkly top, topped with a white blazer and skinny jeans.

Jessica Alba is at it again, rocking pregnancy chic that is. She looked radiant in a Dolce & Gabbana maxi dress, worn with smokey eyes!

Camilla Belle made a simple Dolce & Gabbana LBD pop in Spain with those eye-catching heels (Aperlai?)

Ashley Tisdale celebrated her birthday (once again) in Vegas in a cream coloured mini, toughening it up with black ankle boots. I really hate the idea of chunky boots in the summer so this is a thumbs down.

Hilary Duff was spotted shopping in LA in the popular embellished Isabel Marant jacket. She wore hers with red earrings, Ray Bans, black skinnies, and black pumps. It's a nice look but lacks that effortless chic touch.

Rihanna stepped out in NYC this week sans bottoms. She paired the shirt-dress with Prada shoes; it's a bold choice... but then, it's Rihanna.

Whitney Port was seen in Miami wearing this halter-neck, floral patched Rebecca Taylor maxi with stacked bangles. I really am not not a fan of this dress.

Lauren Conrad was seen at an event in a very dull outfit. Lauren Conrad always looks nice, but there's no personality from her on the red carpet and her outfits lack interest too, case in point: this Rebecca Minkoff mini with nude peeptoes.

At Comic Con 2011

Spotted: Lots of young stars at the Comic Con 2011, held in San Diego, CA.

Amanda Seyfried, promoting her upcoming movie "In Time", with Justine Timberlake wore a flowy, silky Prabal Gurung dress with black accents and strappy Prada heels.

Carey Mulligan was also there, for her movie with Ryan Gosling, called "Drive". She wore a colour block Roksanda Illicinic midi dress with jewelled flats.

All around, colour and free-flowing materials were popular with these two actresses.

Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene also made appearances for their movie, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" which will be out later this year.

K. Stew donned her favourite skinny pencil jeans and Converse and although I'm not complaining about this casual attire too much, the sheer t-shirt is annoying me. Good job her hair and make up are alright.

Nikki Reed & Ashley Greene exuded a more feminine style.

Nikki Reed is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana frock with loose waves and black Brian Atwoods.

Ashley Greene steered away from the predictable floral in her striped Yigal Azrouël number which she wore with nude Jimmy Choo heels - I definitely prefer this style over Nikki Reed's look.

Horrible Bosses in London

Jennifer Aniston arrived in the UK to promote her hit summer comedy, "Horrible Bosses".

At the photocall, she kept things edgy in a sleeveless leather mini by Celine, and wearing her signature minimalistic heels (Gucci). The hair is messy, but it totally works with this look.

On the premiere night, she went all angelic, in a silver Valentino dress which she paired with some white Tom Ford heels.

The shoes don't exactly work with this dress, but I'm always complaining about how stars wear boring shoes so I'm giving her points for keeping it interesting.

Captain America: The First Avenger Premiere

Zoe Saldana totally worked the short-suit trend on the red carpet, for the premiere of the movie "Captain America: The First Avenger".

Her Balmain suit that she wore with a v-neck, is fun and summery and so are those studded Brian Atwoods!

Vanessa Hudgens debuted a short crop, which in her own words makes her look like a "soccer mom".

She tried to look glam by putting on a low-cut, sparkly tunic by Farah Khan but those suede Guiseppe Zanotti heels killed the look for me.

Crazy, Stupid, Love Premiere

That Emma Stone is a busy girl!

She hit up another premiere, this time of her movie "Crazy, Stupid, Love" in which stars with Ryan Gosling (lucky girl).

Emma went for a structured Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress that she wore with two-tone Louboutin pumps.

Side parted hair, and deep pink lips added polish to her look.

Ryan Gosling looked dapper as always (droooool)!

Miu Miu Mates

Spotted: Camilla Belle, Diane Kruger, Emma Roberts and Ashley Tisdale, at a Miu Miu event last night.

All the stars wore the label in some form, but stuck to subtle summer palettes and designs.

Camilla wore a batwing-sleeved white dress and sparkly pumps, all by Miu Miu; I'm disliking the shoes quite a bit - simpler sandal would have looked better.

Diane looked flawless head-to-toe. I'm especially loving the retro hair, she's kept it free-flowing instead of a stiff style.

Ever the fashionista, Emma Roberts dazzled in a lamé gold shift by Miu Miu, which she paired with Prada platforms (a favourite of Alexa Chung).

A newly blonde-again Ashley Tisdale kept things low key in a pretty Asos white dress, which she wore with dark purple Miu Miu platform sandals; I love her chunky gold watch!

Friends With Benefits Premiere

Mila Kunis opted for red once more, in this clingy, off-shoulder Lanvin dress.

It fits her beautifully, makes her look taller and the colour is great but I think the flat hair is somewhat killing this look. As are those frumpy satin pumps.

Maybe a soft updo, and some interesting heels would have made taken this look up a notch.

Emma Stone played the fashion card with this colour block and lace Giambattista Valli dress.

The pink of her peplum skirt is a little jarring (as is her smile).

Australian actress, Rose Byrne had a more sombre look, with this dark look. It's a good idea, since it would have been rude of her to overshine the main star of the movie.

Olivia Palermo also turned up, wearing a semi-casual look.

She wore a plain white button down, tucked into a printed maxi skirt with gold lace-up heels... it shouldn't work, but it does...

Scorcher

Spotted: Mila Kunis, exiting a TV show for her upcoming summer movie, "Friends With Benefits".

She looked red hot (I know this phrase is cliché but it's only appropriate in this case) in a fitted Versace sheath that had a deep v-neck.

Straight, glossy hair and nude pumps kept the dress the focus.

Toning It Down

Apparently, Rosie Huntington Whiteley is still premiering the "Transformers" movie!

So it's no wonder she toned it down in Osaka, Japan.

At the conference, she wore a leather LBD by Marios Schwab with a lace trim, finishing the look off with black pumps.

It was a simple pale Chloé dress for her at the premiere too, but I hate the upper part of this dress, it's very unflattering.

Fashion Roundup

Red, in two of its shades was popular this week with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.

Reese looked adorable in this ruffled tomato red dress, which she wore with light sandals.

Nicole Kidman hasn't looked this great in a while! The actress' Elie Saab peplum dress gave her curves and the colour looked gorgeous with her red hair and lips. Bravo!

Eva Longoria also wore a warm shade this week, her pumpkin coloured Asos dress works perfectly on her petite and slim frame. Those matching heels should feel stiffling but they work quite well in this instance.

Chanel darling, Clemence Poesy attended the "Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 2" premiere in Paris wearing... wait for this... Chanel. I like the pastel dress and metallic heels, but her hair and make up are totally letting this look down!

Zooey Deschanel was at the "Winnie the Pooh" movie premiere, looking cute in a rose-print Kate Spade frock, worn with nude peeptoes.

Cameron Diaz was again promoting "Bad Teacher" in Mexico, wearing this haphzard outfit. The white romper isn't exactly flattering and add to that the denim jacket, a thin black belt and turquoise bead necklace? It's too much. She should have left the jacket at home, I say.

Ashley Greene worked the coloured denim trend while out and about. The actress coupled the jeans with a black knit and some black pumps - sometimes, simple works wonders.

Jessica Szohr was seen in Miami, wearing a cool blue silk jumpsuit, with ankle-strap heels. I think that some jewellery would have taken this look up, maybe some stacked bangles?

Rosie Does D&G Spring

Rosie Huntington Whiteley wore a white lace dress from the Dolce & Gabbanna Spring 2011 line at a movie event.

Almost every celebrity there ever was has worn dresses from this line, so this was no surprise but there's no denying she looks pretty as a picture.

The floral applique dress looked very lady-like on her, and she finished the look off with a wavy hairstyle and nude Louboutins.

More From The ESPYs

Amber Heard wore a plunging black Vivienne Westwood dress that fit her beautifully. It is more a fall dress but she's totally working it!

Kerry Washington was my best dressed of the night. She resembled a disco ball, in the best possible way, in this very sparkly Jenny Packham mini which she wore with platinum heels.

Red & Gold

Spotted: Brooklyn Decker at the ESPY Awards 2011 red carpet.

She kept it simple yet stunning in this cherry red Jay Ahr leather mini.

Spiky gold Louboutins added the extra zing to her look - nicely done!

Ralph Lauren Lady

Spotted: Kate Winslet in Beijing, China, for a Lancôme event.

Kate lookes super sleek and chic in this body-hugging Ralph Lauren dress.

The Tiffany & Co. stone brooch is a nice touch, and adds colour, along with the red lip.

Potter in New York

Potter has landed in NYC.

I had to include this top picture of Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson and while Daniel looks like a little kid in a candy shop, it was nice to see a final red carpet shot from the trio.

Emma Watson brought surprise to the premiere, by wearing this Bottega Veneta gown.

At first glance, I wasn't quite impressed but the more that I look at it, the more I'm growing to like it. The linen bodice and amber coloured satin skirt combine to create quite an outrageous, yet gorgeous dress!

The slick back hair is okay, but I wish she'd not gone so raccoon-eye with her make up.

Sarah Jessica Parker kept it subtle in this watercolour-print Oscar de la Renta dress, topping it with a fail-safe black blazer.

Newly-married America Ferrera was also there, wearing a tassled dress with interesting heels.

Emma also did a talk show appearance, in a glittering Balmain mini. Again, this was unexpected from her (I would normally expect Kristen Stewart in this) but I like that she went all edgy in NYC!

BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge have landed in Hollywood! The pair attended the BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala with a whole roster of A-Listers.

I'm beginning to doubt whether lilac/lavender was the theme for this gala because it definitely had an omnipresence there.

Kate looked mesmerising in a long lilac Alexander McQueen dress which she wore with her signature blow-out and some sparkly earrings, loaned from the Queen, no biggie.

Nicole Kidman played it down in a lovely lilac Elie Saab gown, but I wish she'd kept her soft and flowy, this hair-do is so stiff!

Cat Deeley was there too, in a... lilac coloured Dior number, it's a great colour but the dress itself just seems to hang off her, not a good fit.

Zooey Deschanel was there too, in a golden Oscar de la Renta frock - it's staying true to her style.

Blake Lively looked stunning, in this flowy, kaftan-esque Marchesa dress.

Jennifer Garner upped her game, and looked fantastic in this one-shoulder navy dress; the fabric flows so beautifully!

Jennifer Lopez wore a dark green Pucci dress, it's really great on her in terms of colour, fit but would have looked classier sans the giant cutout. Her hair looks good too!

Elizabeth Bank's white Versace dress is really snazzy, what with the stuctured feel and the gold button detail, but it was very wrong on her, and she sadly could not pull it off. (Where was Mila Kunis?!)

The Waldorf is Back

Spotted: Leighton Meester, in NYC on the set of "Gossip Girl". Shooting for the fifth season of the show has presumably resumed and the fashion is already exciting!

Leighton was seen in character, wearing a bright yellow Peter Som top tucked into a fruity-print Stella McCartney skirt. She is wearing tangerine hued Brian Atwoods and carrying a matching Riki Rosetta bag. Fabulous (and colourful) summer style at its best.

Fashion Roundup

Starting the post with Jennifer Aniston's summery Prada dress! I adore this look on her, from head to toe and it certainly helps that she's absolutely radiant.

Hilary Swank is back in this week's Fashion Roundup, and in good books, thanks to the Hugo Boss mini, my only pick is the black slip showing up.

Dita Von Teese was in Paris for a couture show, in an Alexis Mabille gown that was previously seen on Leighton Meester in the finale of Season 4 of "Gossip Girl". This gown was an instant favourite with me, when I saw it on the television show - it's perfectly intricate, feminine and has a regal feel to it almost.

Rosario Dawson wore Roberto Cavalli for the premiere of "Zookeeper". It's shimmery, has an animal-print - perfect for the premiere!

Rose Byrne had a go at the jumpsuit trend, but this floral monstrosity is just that, a monstrosity. The light pink blazer is trying to salvage the look but it's just beyond repair.

Katie Holmes continued her stylish run in Paris, this time in a casual look. The pussy-bow blouse is somewhat becoming a regular (see this & this) with her, but no complains, she looks great.

Selena Gomez's outfit for a Disney event nearly worked, the sequined shirt and jeans are cute but then came in the warpaint on her face and those heavy suede boots...

Ashley Olsen was spotted in NYC in this chic outfit. I love the combination of the crisp white shirt with the textured navy skirt, and of course that handbag; however, it's just wrong on her and makes her look older than she is. So, great ensemble on the wrong person.

More Potter Style

It'd be very rude of me to pass on the other stars' style at the "Harry Potter" premiere so here goes.

Bonnie Wright glowed in a blush pink Miu Miu top & silk satin skirt. She looks so pretty, I'm going to overlook the inevitabley crinkled skirt.

Clemence Poesy had her ballerina moment in a flouncy white Nina Ricci white dress which she wore with black peeptoes; so elegant!

J. K. Rowling's floral Oscar de la Renta gown was the picture of elegant English summer style.

Helena Bonham Carter brought kook with her bottle-green silk gown and the floral blossoms perched on her, quite precociously actually. There's no denying it, the lady has individuality.

Emma Roberts attended the after party, wearing a a ruched MaxMara dress with Sergio Rossi peeptoes - she looks great, and I actually prefer her look over Emma Watson's Elie Saab dress.

The Magic Begins

Excuse the cheesy title.

Emma Watson really played dress up last night, at the Trafalgar Square premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two".

On the red carpet, she wore a striking, tulle and organza Oscar de la Renta ballgown; she looked fabulous!

At an after-party, Emma changed into a pale, embellished Elie Saab frock, worn with satin Giuseppe Zanotti peeptoes. It resonates with her red-carpet look and is very pretty, but I wish she'd worn something different. The princess-inspired looks got a little boring.

The White Fairytale Love Ball

As couture week draws to a close, several celebrities attended at the Love Ball, in Versailles, France. The event was co-hosted by supermodel Natalia Vodianova & the designer Valentino Garavani.

As the name suggests, the theme for the ball was "White Fairytale" and guests had to dress in silver/white... this obviously was not the case for Natalia, who wore this very dramatic red Valentino gown, complete with a red lace veil and tiara! The red lipstick is uneccessary but hey, it adds even more to the grandeur.

Olivia Palermo went for a sleek look, in a ribbed, icy hued Valentino dress, with a striking statement necklace; the clutch was an odd choice for this look though.

Anne Hathaway worked the ethereal princess look, in the ruffled white dress by Valentino that had embellished flutter sleeves. I like how she went a step further with the theme, adding the garland to her tousled hair.
