Miranda Kerr in Josh Goot - Samantha Thavasa Promotions in Tokyo

Miranda Kerr travelled to Japan last week to attend to her duties as the face of the handbag label Samantha Thavasa.

She looked stylish at a promotional event for the label in dress from the Josh Goot Resort 2013 collection.  The fit and flare silhouette works wonderfully with the type of event.

And of course, Miranda looked beautiful wearing it.  She completed the look with a bag from the label and sandals by Azzedine Alaia.

Diane Kruger in Azzedine Alaia - 'Farewell, My Queen' NYC Screening

Diane Kruger was back on the red carpet at the screening of her Marie Antoinette movie 'Farewell, My Queen'.

Diane was glowing in an floor length, figure hugging silver gown by Azzedine Alaia.  We don't see Diane wearing such dresses often but there's no doubt that she wears it well.

It's not an extraordinary dress so it was good to see her wear it with a bright lip colour.  The look was completed with a wavy hairstyle and an ivory clutch.

Alicia Keys was clad in an Azzedine Alaia dress at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The full sleeved gown had a micro-print in a dark colour; it was simple and elegant without looking boring.

Her hair and make-up also contributed in making the look interesting.

Paula Patton in Azzedine Alaia - Pepsi Next Promotion

Paula Patton looked cheery in an Azzedine Alaia dress for a promotional event at The Grove in California.

The 'MI:4' actress looked adorable in the cherry red, scoop-neck frock with an A-line skirt.  She added interest with the thin black belt.

A ponytail would have looked better with this dress.  She completed the look with basic black Brian Atwood pumps.

Jennifer Hudson's 'I Got This..' Book Signing Tour

Jennifer Hudson has been busy, trailblazing across the States promoting her new book called 'I Got This:  How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down'. 

At a Barnes & Noble bookstore in NYC, Jennifer paired an Azzedine Alaia bodysuit with Theysken's Theory pants and topped the look off with a cool white Haider Ackermann jacket.  The pants are bothering me:  they're way too tight on her, a flared pair would have looked chic and elongated her legs.

Then, at the WeightWatchers office in NYC, Jennifer wore a body-hugging LBD and styled it simply with a poof hairstyle, hoops and red & black cap toe pumps.

At the Good Housekeeping bash, Jennifer wore a chartreuse coloured  

Roland Mouret dress with a soft hairstyle but those shoes felt too chunky with that dress;  a simpler and sleeker black/gold sandal would have been a better choice.

Yesterday at The Grove in LA, Jennifer wore a tangerine faux-wrap dress by Balenciaga and styled it with aqua accessories and tan Lanvin sandals.  This is also a great look on her, and that colour is hot this season!

Charlize Theron In Azzedine Alaia - 2012 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Charlize Theron experiemented with silhouette, in this Azzedeine Alaia number at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

The 'Young Adult' actress, who was nominated in the Best Actress category worked the dress! It's kind of strange yet looks classy, so bravo.

I also love that she tried a different hairstyle, this low, braided side bun goes well with her dress.

Taylor Swift wore yet another princess-style gown, this one by Reem Acra, at the Nashville Symphony Ball - an updo completed her look.

Sofia Vergara announced the Screen Actors Guild Awards wearing a fresh, halter-neck dress by David Meister.  She wore it with turquoise earrings & nude Casadei pumps.

Leelee Sobeiski attended the NYC premiere of 'Iron Lady' in a navy dress with a fluted skirt by Alaia; I love the micro-scalloped hemline.  Leelee wore it with tights and black boots, I think some statement accessory was desperately needed here - maybe a bracelet or a clutch?

Chanel Iman hosted a party in NYC, wearing a cute Valentino mini.  The dress had a sheer, polka-dot top that had a pearl-encrusted collar which was contrasted with a leather skirt.

Kate Mara attended the NYC premiere of sister Rooney's movie, 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' in a pink Christian Dior dress.  It was flirty, feminine and suited Kate.

Whitney Port attended an event by Very.com in a cute winter outfit: a knit-sweater, worn with tweed pants and this all was made festive via sparkles.

LeAnn Rimes In Azzedine Alaia - 2011 American Giving Awards

LeAnn Rimes wore an Azzedine Alaia mini to the 2011 American Giving Awards.

The pale, textured dress with a tiered & scalloped hem is too cutesy for LeAnn - this dress would have been great on someone younger.

She wore it with black Giuseppe Zannoti heels which I like, but not with that dress.

A center-parted haisrtyle and stacked bangles completed her look.
