2014 Golden Globes - Green

Green wasn't everywhere on the red carpet this year, but all its appearances packed a visual punch. Green is awesome. End of discussion.

Olivia Wilde chose to wear a deep shade of the colour in this Gucci gown, custom made for her fuller figure.  The column dress with micro sequins also featured a low back and three-quarter sleeves.  She looked amazing, with her ombre locks worn in a tousled style and the barest of make-up on her face.

Minka Kelly in Thakoon - 2013 Comic-Con

The pretty Minka Kelly was also at Comic-Con over the weekend, for the promotion of her new supernatural themed TV show called 'Almost Human'.

For the event, she wore a lovely, striped white and light pink Thakoon Resort 2013 dress with oversized, three-quarter sleeves.  I like the sport-chic feel of this dress and the fresh summer hues.

Minka wore her hair in a ponytail and finished out her look with pink rimmed Casadei pumps.

Krysten Ritter in Thakoon - 'The Lone Ranger' LA Premiere

Krysten Ritter appeared on the red carpet last night for the Los Angeles premiere of the Johnny Depp-Armie Hammer starrer 'The Lone Ranger', which took place at Disneyland.

Krysten wore a  Thakoon Spring 2013 dress with a tropical hummingbird print and a sunny yellow peplum detail at the waist. 

A messy ponytail kept her hair off her shoulders and she completed her look with a tangerine clutch and black pumps.

Rose Byrne in Thakoon - 2013 CFDA Awards

Rose Byrne attended the CFDA Awards in NYC.

She attended with her beau Bobby Cannavale and wore a very simple Thakoon dress.  The glittering black dress was simple only in its silhouette however, as the fabrics added interest.  the bodice and skirt panel were sequined, with lace inserts on sides.

A pinned back centre part hairstyle, intense red lips and satin purple pumps by Ferragamo finished out the look.

Diane Kruger in Thakoon - 'The Host' LA Premiere

Diane Kruger was clearly the best dressed lady of the evening at the premiere of her new movie 'The Host', held at the ArcLight cinemas in Hollywood on Tuesday.

It was a Thakoon Fall 2013 dress for Diane; the charming little black dress displayed a generous portion of skin due to the sheer side panels and hemline with polka dots while the floral central panel added a touch of elegance.

Diane wore the look with a sleek, deep side parted hairstyle (on trend), interesting accessories, that included bold Stephen Webster 'Firework' diamond earrings and Jimmy Choo 'Malika' heels.

Rashida Jones attended the premiere of 'Celeste & Jesse Forever' in New York City on Wednesday evening.

The actress opted for a colourful Thakoon Resort 2013 dress for the event.  Rashida is partial to prints (and black blazers) so this halter dress by Thakoon was the perfect choice for her.  

She styled it with a metallic, waist-cinching belt, a top-knot, red lips and Valentino sandals.

Christina Ricci attended the Met Ball this year in a Thakoon dress.

The one-shoulder dress would have been ordinary had it not been for the oversized blush silk ruffle bow. Love it.

It's a unique look for sure and for the most part, Christina carries it off well.  I just wish her hair and make-up were upto that dramatic standard as well.

She wore a marigold Thakoon Spring 2012 leather dress for her appearance which boasted a flared skirt; I adore the colour! 

 Nicole accessorised with red lips, a gold cuff & heels from the House of Harlow and a vintage belt.

Charlize Theron went the chic, casual way, for an interview with The New York Times for her upcoming movie 'Young Adult'.

Jessica Alba In Thakoon - March Of Dimes Luncheon

Jessica Alba wore a Thakoon Spring 2012 frock to the luncheon by March of Dimes.

The sleeveless frock would have been plain but with those lame patches and Jessica's gold accessories, this is a perfect holiday-themed look.

And I love her hairstyle and sparkly blue Brian Atwood pumps.
