Brooklyn Decker in Peter Pilotto - 2013 Met Ball

Brooklyn Decker brought print to the red carpet in her Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 dress.

I thought she looked great in the slightly modified dress with a studded skirt.  But what I loved the most about Brooklyn's look was her seamless use of 'punk' accessories including the hair piece, the earrings, rings and even the Sergio Rossi shoes.

Rashida Jones in Band of Outsiders - 'Good Morning America' Appearance

Rashida Jones made an appearance on the talk show 'Good Morning America' to promote 'Celeste & Jesse'.

She wore a dog print powder blue shirt with a subtly striped, ribbed ivory fitted skirt - all by Band of Outsiders.

I love this laid-back but formal ensemble from her, which she styled with red lips and black pumps by Sergio Rossi.  I would have loved to see canary yellow pumps with this ensemble - Rashida is usually adventurous with her footwear choices so it wouldn't be out of question.

Emily Blunt in Christian Dior - 'Looper' at 2012 Comic-Con

The lovely Emily Blunt attended this year's Comic Con with Joseph Gordon-Levitt for the panel for their movie 'Looper'.

Emily chose a pale Christian Dior dress with tiers for the event.  Emily keeps changing her colour palette which I love.

The look was given an injection of colour via her red lips and the tangerine Sergio Rossi sandals.

Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta - 2012 ESPY Awards

Zooey Deschanel made an appearance at the ESPYs this year, much to my surprise.

The 'New Girl' actress was pretty in a silver and gold sequined dress by Oscar de la Renta dress which was worn with a red belt around the waist.

As far as interesting goes, this dress was perfect but I found that belt unnecessary.  She completed her look with voluminous hair, a sparkly box clutch and gold Sergio Rossi heels.  

Thank the lord, there is no sign of her infamous black tights.

Jennifer Lopez in Maria Lucia Hohan - 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' LA Premiere

Jennifer Lopez attended the premiere of 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in LA.  

I was surprised to not see her at the movie's NYC premiere so it was good to see her present at this one.  Jennifer wore a blush, silk Maria Lucia Hohan gown with billowy sleeves and a plunging neckline, held together with a belt.

We normally expect something out and out glamorous and fierce from J.Lo but here she looked soft and demure, almost.  I loved the low ponytail and the on-trend dark lip colour, which was matched with her nails. 

Sparkle was added via a Swarovski clutch and crystal topped Sergio Rossi heels.

Camilla Belle in Jason Wu - 'The Five-Year Engagement' NYC Premiere

Camilla Belle wore a Jason Wu Fall 2012 dress to the NYC premiere of 'The Five-Year Engagement' on Wednesday night.

As usual she killed it.  The gold dress with black accents, a high neck and a keyhole was phenomenal on her.

A bombshell updo, hoop earrings, a Jason Wu clutch and Sergio Rossi heels completed her look.

Emily Blunt in Elie Saab - Elie Saab Private Dinner in NYC

Emily Blunt graced a private dinner by the Red Carpet King (that's Mr. Elie Saab for those of you who're confused) in NYC last night.

Emily chose a vibrant, dandelion yellow Elie Saab Spring 2012 dress.  The simple dress featured a square neckline, three-quarter sleeves and a thin belt at the waist.

 She continued the trend of teaming yellow dresses with red lipstick (click here to see Olga Kurylenko sporting the trend) and pulled her hair back in a slick bun.   A metallic clutch & yellow Sergio Rossi heels finished her look.

Kate Spade New York Celebrates Brad Goreski's 'Born to Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far'

Jessica Alba, Mandy Moore and Minka Kelly all stepped out to celebrate Hollywood stylist, Brad Goreski's new book called 'Born to Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far' with the help of Kate Spade New York (Brad is an exclusive brand stylist for the label).

Jessica Alba looked fashion forward in colour-block separates by Kate Spade New York (heavily influenced by Brad Goreski's personal style, it seems). She threw on a soft leather jacket, a yellow bag and cap-toe Giuseppe Zannoti pumps to complete her fabulous look.

Mandy Moore wore a Lela Rose Spring 2012 dress to the do - in comparison to Jessica's outfit, this white dress with a peplum just doesn't stand a chance.  To worsen the look further, she wore those clunky black pumps.  She also carried a bright Kate Spade New York clutch but it seemed like an after thought.

Minka Kelly looked Spring-ready, in a poppy-print Kate Spade New York dress that had flirty sleeves; Minka kept things simple as always, just putting on Sergio Rossi pumps to finish her look.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley looked ridiculously gorgeous at the Elle Style Awards.  The actress/model wore an Antonio Berardi Spring 2012 dress.

The floaty, blush coloured dress has an embellished bodice and a high-low hem.  Rosie accessorised it brilliantly with a sleek hairstyle, delicate earrings, pink lips, clutch & blush satin Sergio Rossi sandals.

Rose Byrne In Alexander McQueen - amfAR Gala to Kick Off NYFW

Rose Byrne wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 dress to the amfAR Gala.

She skipped the runway version, instead opting for a softer, modified one made out of lace.  I am disappointed that she did that, as the runway one would have been fabulous on her.

A tousled hairstyle, a white clutch and black satin Sergio Rossi pumps completed her look.

Tina Fey In Versace - 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Tina Fey was fabulous, in a vintage Versace dress at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. 

The '30 Rock' actress was glowing in the figure-hugging black gown with an interesting, shaded stringy bodice detail.  She wore the dress with an elegant updo, Lorraine Schwartz bling, Sergio Rossi heels and a sparkly VBH clutch.

Fashion Roundup

Paula Patton made two appearances this week.

She wore a navy blue, zip-front mini to the premiere of 'Joyful Noise' with colourful, printed heels (which don't really go with the dress but at least she tried).

Later, at a party, Paula wore a skintight leather mini with a scoop-neck & lace rimmed hemline.  She looks like she's trying too hard here, and look comes off as tacky.

Carey Mulligan wore an ombre, tasseled dress from the Lanvin Resort 2012 line to the National Board of Review Awards Gala.  Love this dress on Carey, who wore it with matching mauve Sergio Rossi shoes.

Kerry Washington attended the Disney/ABC TCA event in a sparkly Jenny Packham Spring 2012 mini.  The gold sequined dress with cutout shoulders is lovely but the sleeves are hanging off her arms, which makes the look sloppy.

Jennifer Lawrence is already getting into the fierce-red-carpet-look mode (her 'Hunger Games' comes out in March).

She wore a Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 dress that has a mesh underlay and cobalt blue satin swirls.

Jennifer wore it with a slicked back ponytail, smokey eyes, edgy earrings, light liptick and Sergio Rossi heels.

Chloe Moretz walked the red carpet for her upcoming movie, 'Hugo' wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress.

The strapless, blush hued silk-chiffon frock with a bow-topped bodice was age-appropriate and looked sweet on Chloe.

Amanda Seyfried In H&M

Amanda Seyfried served up a surprise at the London premiere of 'In Time' last night.

She donned a beautifully blue short suit by H&M that had black accents, wearing it with a black button up.

Wavy hair, light make-up and black Sergio Rossi pumps were the finishing touches.

After seeing her wow in a Spring 2012 Prabal Gurung dress (click here), I was expecting another knockout but Amanda looks gorgeous anyway.

That colour is hard to pull off!

Stylish Teacher

Cameron Diaz has been on a whirlwind international promotional tour for her upcoming movie called "Bad Teacher" and her outfits have been super stylish - she wore this ensemble for the movie's Madrid photocall.

In Russia, for the photocall, she wore some pale skinny jeans with a cream Chanel jacket and candy pink suede Casadeis (note the red lipstick too) - I like how she combined red and pink again but the Chanel jacket seems a size small on her!

On the red carpet, she wore a zingy, black and gold Pucci mini with plain black satin pumps.


In Berlin, in the day she wore a cool, ice-blue shirt-dress, cinched in at the waist with a chunky neutral belt; I like how she matched the belt with the Sergio Rossi heels (which I absolutely love). It's a breezy, laid-back look from her.

At the premiere later, Cameron picked a black, tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit which made her legs look miles long! I like how tied her hair back, thus showing the collar of the jumpsuit.

Trend Watch: Boxy Style

Clean, and straight shaped clothes have been appearing all over the runways over Spring - bright, boxy silhouettes worn with neutral accessories. This trend has also been taken into next year by Stella McCartney who showed her Spring 2012 collection in NYC yesterday.

Liv Tyler and Naomi Watts came out to support McCartney, wearing pieces from the collection. Liv, in a colour-block shift, worn with nude platforms and Naomi in boxy, red shorts worn with a scalloped, lace blouse which she topped with a blazer.

Cameron Diaz was seen on Monday in an Elizabeth and James short-suit in white, which she wore with a red belt and added a pink blazer to the ensemble - I love the combination of red, white and pink and her heels (Sergio Rossis) are gorgeous!

Gwyneth's Week

Gwyneth Paltrow had quite the week, fashion wise. She's also out to promote her new book, "My Father's Daughter".

She started off the week, appearing in the nude full-sleeved dress at the Good Housekeeping do (see below post) of which I was not a fan.

In NYC, Vionnet was the label of choice for her, with this turtle-neck violet dress that she wore with some interesting heels.

She went for a casual look at another signing, sprucing up the otherwise staid outfit with leather capris and black flats; her jacket is by The Row.

She reverted back to the neutrals later on. I like the LWD and those suede cutout heels, it's a fresh spring look.

Her later choice consisted of a mauve coloured dress, topped with an oversize satin blazer, both by Alexander Wang - I like her Sergio Rossi tan heels here.
